Another great housecall by Gleason Electrick. I have an espresso machine that uses a lot of power, so I had Gleason Electrick put in a dedicated outlet just for the espresso machine. He sent his assistant who did a great job and only took about an hour. He ran the power from outlets at one end of the kitchen that aren't used very much, drilled a space in the wall and put the switchplate at the other end of the counter. So now I can happily use my espresso machine without worrying that when I turn on lights or whatever it will short out. Cost: $250. If you know contractors, you know that's a pretty fair price. And since Rick is an electrical engineer, I always feel that he really knows what he's doing. read more

Great people to work with, very detailed oriented ( it's the little things that make a difference to me, an example, they updated all of our switch plates with dimmer switches , one of the plates had cracked during the night. Rick and Anthony installed a CAT6 TV cable for us today. It needed to go through an unfriendly crawlspace and down through a plate and between studs in a 70 year old wall, with properly installed connectors at both ends. They made it look easy, but I know it wasn't. The result was neat, clean, and they were finished in a little over an hour. I couldn't have asked for better. A couple of months earlier Anthony installed two longer CAT6 cables that required not just good electrician's skills but also ability to solve the sorts of problems that show up when you try to change anything in a 70 year old home. Outstanding group. I hade a GFI outlet that wasn't' working. I can usually change it out without a problem but this time that still didn't' fix it. I tried to troubleshoot with my limited knowledge and experience on these things then realized I'd better call a professional because I didn't want to do anything that could get me zapped. I did a little searching for a local electrician with good reviews and settled on Gleason Electrick. I Called and left a message then was contacted by Anthony the next day via text asking when would be a good time to talk about my problem. I appreciate that because I am busy throughout the day and wanted to have time blocked off to talk about my dilemma and what I tried. I figure the more info he has the quicker/easier the job is for him. Anthony was easy to talk to and understanding. We set up a time for him to come and even contacted me earlier that day to let me know that he had become available to arrive earlier then we agreed. Couldn't take him up on it as I was still at work, but I appreciated that. Once I was home Anthony had arrived and entered through my garage with mask on and stayed socially distant. I showed him where the problem outlet was and he had asked where certain things were and he did a quick check on those before working on my problem outlet. Anthony did his diagnosis and even suggested ways to save me money before carrying out the repair. He was able to fix my outlet and had time to check over my circuit breaker box and talked about other things to look out for because I live in a condo and he has worked on other units in my complex and seen some common problems (another thing I appreciated). The next day the outlet was not working again! I contacted Anthony and he responded promptly. Talk about things to try and he helped me to find that the outlet he repaired was connected to another GFI outlet in a different bathroom that I had to reset. Not his fault and wasn't a big deal. But I'm glad he took the time to help me work it through on the phone before having him come out to fix a problem by pressing a button. I called Gleason Electrick to modify a job I had them do at my rental property last year. The change was a request from my tenant. The original work was done correctly, on time and on budget. This job was done as excellent as the first job. On budget, on time, and Rick fit me in on very short notice. Anthony's work was excellent. He knew exactly what to do with my minimal direction. I couldn't stay at the site till it was finished but Anthony called me afterwards to let me know he'd finished, what angle he'd set the security lights and also the timer setting.
