We got a windshield rock chip from a semi-truck on I-84 outside of Boise today on the second day of our month long planned camper van trip to the SW. Glass Monkey staff were so helpful and cheerful. They quickly fixed it while we communicated with our insurance who covered the cost connecting electronically with Glass Monkey. It wasn't even as long as a lunch stop and we were on our way again as happy campers. read more

I confused them for another company I had requested a call back from, and thought that I had selected mobile service but it was as a shop appointment. They were kind and sent a mobile tech out promptly after I called to see what the status was and figuring out my mistake. Did a great job on my window cracks. Support local! read more

I love this place. Nick came to my work and replaced my passenger side front window due to a BB gun misfortune, within 1/2 an hour. Now that's fast. Nick also vacuumed up the glass pieces that were all over my floor and in the door. They are 1/3 cheaper than Safelite. These guys were so professional and courteous. They also said they would fix my cracked windshield for $155.00. Seriously.. If you guys are looking to replace any of your auto windows, give these guys a call. They are awesome! I did a windshield replacement on my Kia Sorento. I got the best price across multiple local companies. Fast responses. I was concerned a bit about the quality of the windshield because the price was really good. But the windshield looks amazing. It has all the shaded parts around back mirror and at the bottom. I also asked for a top tinted string and it looks very good for no additional price. Definitely recommend. read more

I make it a point to check yelp for things like this. This time I am sad to say I did not experience the savings that all the other 5 star reviewers have reported. Safelite was cheaper for the same window. For windshields I recommend not following Yelp blindly. Yelp is usually very spot on... Sorry Glass Monkey, paying more for the same windshield is Bananas. read more

Was able to get an appointment within a few days, the guys working were friendly and fast. My new windshield looks great, thank you!

after the repair... looks the same way as it did before. I have never in my life experienced a windshield repair that appears as if nothing was fixed. Contacted company and was told that it's supposed to look like that. Technician would not wait for me to call my insurance company when he arrived at my house to do the repair. My insurance company advised me to check on the warranty and guarantee that the company offers and the guy working on my window assured me that no problem they have a guarantee. I really got scammed and the company has made no attempt to get back to me or to make it right. Poor customer service and poor quality of work read more

I messaged Glass Monkey for a quote on a Tuesday evening (after hours) and they replied that night with an estimate to replace my windshield. They were the best deal of all the places I received quotes from. They came to my car that Thursday morning (less than 48 hours later) and replaced my windshield for the exact price that I was quoted. There were no hidden fees for things like disposal or mobile service. The time window landed around our toddlers nap time and they worked with us to avoid waking him. We left the key under our mat for them and they took payment over the phone after the service was completed; they were very easy to work with. read more

So some young hoodlums came by and decided to take a bat to my husband's windshield (find a hobby, kids) and so, you know, he needed a new windshield. We were quoted in the $300 range by one, $200ish by another (but couldn't get to fixing for another week or so, and $140 plus tax by these guys. And they were able to do it right away. AND they come to you. No brainer. Within 30 minutes of showing up my husband had a new windshield. read more

My suv had rock chips from winter & figured I'd get around to rock chip repair but then I cracked it changing out wiper blades. A friend suggested this company & I'm glad she did! I saved almost 50% off my cheapest quote, fast friendly, and they did a great job. Since moving back to Idaho I've had lots of windshield replacements but they have all my business going forward. He even fixed my wiper blades because they weren't attached properly. Thank you! read more

I have a convertible. One beautiful day I put the top down. The passenger side doors electric motor continued to run after the window rolled all the way down. It wouldn't stop. I called around. I spoke with several places. One extremely rude, sarcastic and terribly obnoxious lady at BLAZEK. Then, I remembered Glass Monkey. The company I work for uses them exclusively. I called and explained my emergency. They were happy to help and got me right in. I was told I needed a window regulator by another shop, So I bought one and brought it in for my appointment. After they looked at it, they found the problem was much simpler than that. The part was not needed. They fixed it quickly, better than before (the door had a bit of a rattle when o brought it in), no more rattle! I returned the part. All is good! I highly recommend these people. Very nice, courteous, and very knowledgeable! Couldn't be happier. Thanks Glass Monkey! read more
