I am revising my review after speaking with Brianna today and gaining a better understanding of…read moresome misunderstandings surrounding my repair process. The business did not ask me to change my review; I am doing so because I believe in being fair and correcting information I previously misunderstood. I spoke with Brianna today in person while my trunk and back bumper were being looked at, about the technical aspects of my repairs and the calibration process, and she took the time to explain everything to me. I learned that Expert Glass & Calibration needed to drive the vehicle at approximately 60 mph to properly calibrate certain sensors, which I was not aware of at the time. I also have a better understanding of how GEICO's repair-order requirements affected when certain suspension issues could be documented and addressed. Knowing this has given me a much better perspective on the repair timeline and process. (This was my first time having a car accident and going through this process.) While I did have some frustrating interactions with Seth regarding technicalities, communication and the cleanliness of my vehicle, after observing how busy this shop is- I understand how sometimes they can't always call a customer back and I wanted to be involved in all steps of the repair process. There was a misunderstanding regarding a comment about whether my vehicle had a tracker, However, prior to that, Emily was helpful and responsive, and the ladies at the front desk were consistently friendly and accommodating, even while I was navigating some difficulties with my repairs. I worked with Emily, EmmaLee, Olivia and Brianna during this process. I did call a lot because I was very anxious due to a new situation I was experiencing. There were several days I expressed frustration and came off confrontational. None of them deserved it. I appreciate Brianna taking the time to speak with me and clarify everything. I'm updating my review because I believe in giving credit where it's due and doing what's right.

Long Appreciation Post…read more A couple weeks ago, I was rear ended on 91 by a hit and run driver who did not brake for the stopped traffic. I am extremely grateful for my Ford Explorer for keeping me safe and being able to walk away without injury. In need of a whole new back end of my Explorer, I chose Johnson's Auto Body in Tolland to repair my car because of a positive referral. I cannot express HOW INCREDIBLE they were!!! Renee, who works the office, was AN ABSOLUTE ANGEL and walked me through the entire process. She was genuinely empathtic and consistently reassured me that "I, and my Explorer, are in very good hands" and that "I was going to get it back and it'll look like nothing ever happened." She sent me a text message every day with an update on the car, insurance or just to see how I was doing and feeling. Sure enough, I got my Explorer back and it looks PERFECT!! If you are ever in need of any body work, PLEASE consider this amazing, small business. I can't speak highly enough of them and I deeply appreciate their true, genuine commitment to not just my Explorer...but to ME!

My husband does a lot of our car work so we didn't have a 'go-to' garage. When I asked my mom…read morewhere she took her car she mentioned that she's been bringing cars to Showroom for many many years. Mom's been happy with their work for years, and now I'm happy with it as well. I had to recently have some work done to my father-in-law's car and it took a little bit of time to get the first appointment in (just under 2 weeks) so that wasn't an issue. We had questions about replacing the coils, should we replace all 8, should we test and only replace the bad ones, could I buy the parts somewhere else if I found them cheaper. They answered every question and talked through the options with me. In the end, we did all the spark plugs and they tested the coils and replaced the single bad one they found. We made another appointment and brought the car back to have the passenger window repaired a few weeks later. We'll definitely continue to bring work here. Megan does all the phone and desk stuff and she's knowledgeable, courteous, and responsive. Thanks for providing great service and great work!
