(I was calling him "Ken" but found out recently his name is Kevin. But they know who I'm talking about. Well.... Twice now I have still gotten him. I'm not one to make a scene - so I've gone along w it. But not anymore! I'm DONE going to Top Nails. He scrapes my nails so bad/hard - to the point of them bleeding a little bit on Sunday when I was there. When he can't get the polish off by scraping it - he gets his Emory board out and files the shit out tops of my nails - and gets the skin too. He needs to be FIRED. I've been going to that salon for years - but after Sunday - I'M DONE with this place.

Is it the best mani pedi? Eh, no, but really good!…read more Situation - I was in a crunch to get a gel mani/pedi the day before vacation. I called an hour prior to arrival just to make sure they could do a walk in. Got there, picked colors, started the soak-off, pedicure (tropical spa package with short nails), manicure (regular gel, round, short), and done. I took a star as a second color base coat under the sparkles on my fingernails would have made the colors solid. Some fingernails look grey while others look black. The sides of some toenails were not painted. I took off one star because it was hella pricey for the job done. I liked the place but not in love.

They weren't busy when we arrived (only had 3 nail techs present) so we were seated right away. I had the older gentleman, my daughter had a younger girl. Her service was amazing, mine not so much. He cut both my big toes during my pedicure. Twice on the left big toe & once on the right. 6 days later they are still not healed and look awful. I can't wear sandals. I should have stopped him as soon as I noticed his hands were shaking. I just didn't want to make a scene on her birthday. Plus, they started getting busy with just 3 nail techs available. If he doesn't regularly do services but did so because they were short on help, he should have just said so. I would have gladly waited considering the outcome. I'm giving one star because he knew he cut me..he should have at the very least discounted my service or refused my generous tip. (I gave him $20, way more than he deserved) I would like to add that my daughter's service was amazing. So, it wasn't all bad..

I normally come in every two…read moreweeks to get a fill on my nails and before they started I showed them a picture and said this is what I'm wanting done he said he couldn't do it but he knew one of the ladies could. I was like great thank you. Hellen is amazing at nails just designs aren't her thing and that's ok I was just happy she did the base layers and shaping because she's AMAZING at that. So Katie I think they said her name was came over to do the design after she confirmed she could do the design I wanted. She indeed could not do the design I wanted she tried MULTIPLE times. My thing is is if you can't do a design just say that I was more than willing to change the design but after 3 plus times of her filing down the nail to restart my nail is brittle my nails look HORRIBLE. She also tried to reshape them and they are more stiletto than almond the sides of my nails are RAW. And they still made me pay for them I will be disputing it with my bank because I now have to go to another nail salon to get them fixed. I use to come here all the time before they went under new management they were amazing now not so much definitely disappointed I came in for a mani pedi and the water was cold despite saying something 4 times about it my toe nail broke the same day and the way it broke I have no idea how it broke I never stubbed my toes. My feet were so rough still after. The towels were even cold It's like the men they hire don't care. The lady that did my nails was amazing I will also add they changed how they do soak offs and that's something else that really upset me due to the fact they don't wrap your nail with the Cotten and aluminum foil you get a hot towel and you soak your fingers in it with product getting all over your hands. Definitely sad I have to find another place to do my toes they are already lifting and snagging on everything it's not even been 24 hours

In over 10 years from exit 11 to Hopkinsville, I've only found one nail tech that actually did a decent job and unfortunately she moved.
