I had a very pleasant experience getting a pedicure at Kim's today. I'm a guy - yes a man - and some spas make it awkward when a male walks in and wants a manicure or pedicure. Not Kim's. The staff were all polite and the service was great! They had about half men and half women providing services when I was there. My person was a male and he did great and I was pleased with the result. Pricing is consistent with every other spa I've been to: $40-45 for the better pedicure. The work done was good. We had an appointment at 1:30pm. Made it on a Tuesday for the upcoming Saturday. Upon arrival the three of us had to wait till 1:50pm to get seats. Once seated, there were not enough workers to service us at the same time. I got started first, another 12 min later my friend but for the third person- endless waiting. Finally, she had enough and left. To top it off, the air circulation isn't sufficient enough, the chemicals are too strong and cause headaches for many. We probably won't come again. read more

This has happened twice now with making an appointment for services and showing up at my appointment time and having ti wait an hour due to the technician I made the appointment with being busy with other clients. Today when I showed up for my appointment was told my technician was not there and she was walking up behind him and going to her station where she already had a client. When I said I had an appointment with her they told me she was busy and I would either have to wait which would have been 45 min to an hour or go to someone else. Still sitting here getting a pedi and can tell you as of now I won't be back! I can't even sit here and enjoy the $40 I'm paying. The man doing my pedi is beyond rude. He is moving my legs and feet very rudely and acting as if I'm an inconvenience to him. I haven't had a pedi in about a month or 2 since I am a mom it's hard to get free time. He mentioned to me when is the last time I had a pedicure and I told him about 2 months he said I can tell. And him and the other employee laughed. Mind you there are other customers here and I felt embarrassed. Then he put my shoes on and never gave me a foot massage or lotion. got a coupon for my birthday, decided to give them another try after last year when they cut me and proceeded to spray alc after i expressed it burned severely . [[HIGHLIGHT]]made sure they took walk ins, the front kiosk was really laggy so i just scanned the code and had to make an appointment which asks to select who you want to see which doesn't even matter because you get who you get.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] asked for a pedi and dip for my hands. while, i think his name was ben, was doing my pedi i showed him my inspo pic which he said he could do with dip. he asks me to pick what color gel i want on my toes, chose white glitter 145, i got a nude glitter with pink accents. the nails for my hands i wanted were blue but the color blues they had were not satisfying to me so once i realized it was pink i decided to try to find a nice pink color for the nails. we get to the nail desk and i choose the 363 powder, he asked if i still wanted black and i said nah lets do pink and white. he applies the white acrylic and then puts up the powder i chose and got the polish, i said "are we not doing dip?" he said we can't do dip with an ombre, even tho before he said it was possible. me being me i said okay i trust you and he pulls out a airbrush gun and the glitter clogs the machine, have to change colors again, no biggie. i chose another color then the gun dies, we laugh it off and he grabs another just for that one to die in between every nail. [[HIGHLIGHT]]inbeween this i asked if we could mix colors to get the color i wanted, he ignored me twice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] i say whatever, got sprayed with the gun. no sorry or anything. i ask if he could add a glitter top coat since the polish didn't work and he refused saying they only did clear coat which i know is untrue. [[HIGHLIGHT]]then he blurted allowed "are you okay??" after this. when i was just looking at my painful nails after trying to get him to stop cutting me with the electric file, he asked if i had a problem, i said yes just to get ignored again.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] we finish and go up to pay for him to say itll be 150, huh???? i said no that's not right you need to change that because i didn't get the dip that i wanted and it's not my fault that your gun was faulty and you wasted the polish. he wouldn't show us the screen either to see the prices. then he said "okay 115" i said i have a coupon and he "applied it " then said it would "be 103 cash only", i ask him again to look at the screen to make sure it was right just to get ignored. I come here often for various things; eyebrow waxing, manicures, and pedicures. I give them a 5 for the eyebrows, they are very meticulous and I appreciate that. As for my nails, they often cut my cuticles too short and I bleed. Also for days afterwards my cuticles will peel and have hang nails for weeks. The pedicures are pretty nice and they take their time. I love the gel polish and it stays on for a long time. read more

I want to love this place. I think they do a fabulous job with the pedicure itself. My toes always feel so good after they are done, but the two times I've gotten pedicures here my polish has chipped off within days. I'm not rough on my feet and have never had issues with polish chipping, but my pedicure looks really good for a day or two and by the third day my polish is chipping. For $35 (the cheapest of the options) I would expect my pedicure to last longer than a few days. My next pedicure I will try somewhere else. read more
