I've been getting acrylic nails for years and this is the worst experience I've ever had. My nail technician left drill burns around every one of my nails and I physically had to pull my hand out of her hand to get her to stop. Not only this, she cut 3 of my cuticles until they bled and even two days after I got them done, my nail beds are still sore. My sister was very happy with her acrylic nails so it may have just been my nail technician but personally, I'm never going back. read more

They weren't sure how to give me change for a 20 dollar bill. The nails were sloppy and quickly chipped. The people here are so rude and it's too expensive to not get good service. While waiting to get pedi's with 3 of my friends, I accidentally dropped my nail polish and it broke. I apologized 20x and felt embarrassed. When the man came to clean it we asked if this is the only time this has happened (thinking it probably happens all the time and trying to make light of the situation.) I made a call to make us reservations for dinner since it was a special night out with our friends. One who was about to have a baby. When the man was done clean up my mess, he looked at my friends and threw up his hands. One friend said "I'm sorry is something wrong?" He said "no thank you?! No sorry?!!" How unbelievably rude! This is the 2nd time I have taken a group of friends here and is the LAST! The first time we made a reservation and it took them forever to get us in and then could only take 1/2 of us at a time. Very upset I didn't read the reviews before going here for a gel manicure. The color selection was slim to none, they were very pushy about paying more for a French, and the woman doing my nails was rude and rough. She first ruined my nails with an electric file, then proceeded to not cover the entirety of my nails with the polish so they already look outgrown. The first red flag was noticing that not a single person had signed in when I arrived at 2pm on a Tuesday. Horrible service, horrible manicure. Not worth the expensive price and your time. read more

Very friendly service but VERY over priced and low quality. I wanted a bit longer coffin shaped nails which usually cost $35-40 at most every where else I have gone (I've been getting nails for over 5 years now)... here they charged me $60 and I was told the price after she glued them on. I had one break 4 days after getting them when I was literally folding a cover, here we are two weeks later and 3 total are gone. My nails have NEVER broke off like this. I'm not sure who did everybody else's nails, but my experience was amazing. I was previously ripped off at Show Hand Nails and I told the lady who did my nails and she took $20 off my fill in. Let's just say she got over a 50% tip. Amazing experience. We talked the whole time and she was VERY polite. She also fixed the crappy job the previous person did on my nails. I took several from our wedding party (five mani/Pedi's) and we were subjected to a very rude staff! Very, very rude...almost unbelieveable! When people "lose it" like the staff did, I always know it's a problem with them. No adult should ever act like this!! They rushed, causing cuticle damage, talked rudely to us and my gel manicure didn't last a week before it chipped! Went here because another nail salon decided to be late....we left 15 mins after they were SUPPOSED to open....my nails are thick, uneven and poorly painted. I didn't realize how horrible they were til we left. I've never been charged so much for a full set in my life and wouldn't mind the cost so much if the nails were perfect. Worst nail place I've ever been to honestly. My mom and I went in there to get a full set with regular color. They didn't really greet us much at all nor tell us how long it would be. They then continued to help two girls that came in after us. While doing my nails the lady literally made my cuticles bleed on EVERY single one of my fingers. (Which I've had my nails done before, I understand it happens. It's never been more than twice though.) she accidentally put a dent into the fake nail on my thumb and just painted right over it. Now I have a huge dent in my thumb, and my others are kind of crooked. My mom on the other hand, they didn't paint hers anywhere even near her cuticle. It looks as though they've been growing out for a week. We went back in to have them paint more of her nail, and nothing was fixed. They didn't apologize or anything. This was the most bizarre and Terrible experience I've had at a nail salon. I walked in and asked for a gel fill with shellac and pedicure. The woman started with my fill and removing the polish from my nails, Then decided she would do the pedicure first so we moved to the pedicure station. I quickly realized she had overfiled My toe nails and the quality of painting was not something I would ever pay for. Clumpy and uneven. I've never experienced this before. I asked if she could redo or have someone else work on me. She got upset and went upstairs. Another woman came down and finished my toes and did a reasonable job. I asked about my fill and she tells me she does not know how to remove my nails and the woman that can refused because I didn't like her work. So I wouldn't be able to get my nails done, although she had already removed the polish from 1 of my fingers - so I would now have to find another salon to finish the job? And oh yes, was charged full price for my pedicure. Absolutely stunned. read more

I am sitting in Glacé nail salon extremely ticked. Mostly at myself for not reading the reviews for this place (especially since as an out of towner I always rely on Yelp), but also at this salon. I told them my pedicure needed to be dry by 5 pm (I arrived at 3:30). They started on my manicure (after being pushy-they kept offering an upswell to a French manicure) after I asked them to do my pedicure first so my feet could be drying. They told me it "would be no problem" to do my pedicure after my manicure. After my pedicure was done (4:40) they told me I should put shoes on for an hour. What happened to having my feet dry at 5?!? For such an expensive place, this is pretty bad. I got a gel manicure. They have a limited selection of colors. I'm pretty disappointed in the manicure. They got no where near my cuticle. Only 80% of the nail is covered in polish. If this is supposed to last for two weeks, my nails are going to look like garbage in a couple of days after they grow out. I'm $64poorer and irritated. read more

Great location, wrong owner! It was the day before Easter and unfortunately I had to work but I really needed a pedi bad. All of the surrounding nail places closed at 7 and by the time I got off work, it was 6:00. I looked online and notice that this was the only nail salon that was opened until 8 which was perfect. I walked into the establishment around 6:15. I felt judged at the door and apart of me knew it would be something crazy! The nail tech ask what I wanted to get done. I told her that I wanted a pedicure and immediately she said they're not taking anymore customers. I'm trying to understand how in the same sentence you ask me what I wanted but tell me you're not taking any customers. If you weren't taking anymore customers, just say so. I kindly said okay and walked out. My husband and daughter dropped me off at the door while they searched for a parking spot. It was very chilly out so I decided to come back in the nail place to stay warm and the owner looked at me as though she was annoyed and questioned why I came back in. I heard her say something to another customer about me as I was walking in. I told her that it was cold out and was waiting for my ride. All of a sudden she magically had an opening to do my pedicure. I declined the offer because I'm not one to have to feel pity for. If you were gonna do my nails then do them if you're not then don't. Don't feel bad because you sent me always 1 1/2 hours from closing because you didn't feel like doing my pedicure because I didn't have a ride! It was very unprofessional and was super embarrassing. And please don't talk to a customer about me because if you had anything to say, say it to me. Also, if you're not going to commit to closing at 8, then change your closing time. I'm not one to come into an establishment 5 minutes before closing because I know how it feels to wanna go home but really almost 2 hours!! I came from across the city to get my pedicure only because of the time. And yes I declined getting my pedicure done when you felt sorry for me because I'm not giving my money to an establishment that don't respect people's time and feel pity for a person. She knew she was wrong in the first place!!! This place is very unprofessional and I should've believed the reviews when I read about this place but i wanted to give it a chance. But never will I ever! Hopefully this can be a lesson learned! Also learn how to not prejudge a person because my plan was to give you a huge tip because you were the only place stayed open so late. Went here to try a new place. I needed a fill. I was the only customer in the place on a Saturday afternoon... weird. Now I know why. They charged 50$ for a FILL!!!! Absolutely ridiculous. Came with a friend for pedicures. Her pedicure came out great! her person was friendly and did a good job. They DONT offer gel pedicures. Which is what I normally get but it wasn't a big deal so I went ahead and chose regular polish. Here's where everything turns for the worst. Now came the time to get my pedicure, everything was going well in the beginning. We got through the massage and paint job and I looked over my feet and was very unsatisfied. I spoke with a short balding man about my concerns which was the dead skin that was still left on my feet and the horrible paint job. He suggested that he'd repaint and remove the dead skin for me. I told him to just remove the polish so that I could just go to my regular nail shop. He removes the polish and some of the dead skin. And proceeds to try and charge me full price as I am still unsatisfied. He was very rude and went over to other customers to MOCK me as I was still standing there. I remained calm and polite and asked to speak to someone else. So I spoke to the manager who offered me a discount and to repaint them for me. They both said I was lying because the lady "never gets complaints and they know that she's good" Meanwhile the rude man went upstairs to mock me some more with his colleagues. Don't go here. The main lady who works there is downright rude and does not want to do anyone's nails. And I'm a regular! I can't imagine how they treat new customers. She will push you off on the others that work there to do your nails. After I get manicures here, and I've gotten several, my nails/cuticles are worse than when I walked in. I have wasted so much money at this business and I hope that I can keep anyone else from spending money there. They don't have a gel selection, and they always make my nails bleed. They're never nice to you and don't want to talk with you while they do your nails. I get it. But it's a service industry- at least make people feel happy to be in your business! This is the absolute worst nail service I have ever had. After asking the girl doing my gel manicure to paint closer to the edges of my nails, not only did she NOT do so, but talked back to me when I nicely asked her to fix it. Once she started to completely redo my nails and soak the gel polish off, I waited for 10-15 minutes and had to leave. I was charged for the entire manicure and left with no paint on my nails!!! I went to get my nails done on Monday, March 26, 2018. He seemed very nice during this visit. I had them do a full set and a pedicure. He was very friendly while he worked but when I was at home that night and actually started to look at the job he did my nails were put on very thick and not painted all the way. I looked at my toes and they were very messy. I had excess polish and my nails were not even painted all the way across. I called the next day and told him I was coming back in to have them fixed, I asked him if 3:15 P.M.- 3:20 P.M. worked and he said that would be ok. When I arrived (3:24 P.M.) I changed for my second job and sat down. About five minutes later he asked if I wanted to go walk around for about fifteen minutes, I told him no, I am in-between jobs that is why I called before coming. He then argued with me telling me that I told him 3 o clock and so I was very late. A lady that worked there came down about five minutes after this and she worked on my nails. She did a wonderful job fixing them however, a few days later the nails were already lifting. Those of you who have gotten full sets before know that they are a pain to get off, I was able to peal them off! I did not even have to soak them in acetone!!!! Sunday, April 1, 2018 I had all of the nails off within 15 minutes. NO ACETONE, FILES, NOTHING but me just picking up the side that had started to lift up. The nails lasted six days. I have had acrylic nails done many times before this and I have never been able to peel them off after 6 days. I only wish this was an April Fools joke. I will NOT go back. read more
