Her first time trying spamoni. She's a fan

Very romantic setting. Not too large and the atmosphere is very personal. They talk to you to try and find your preference if you would like. They have signed wine bottles displayed in cubbies with accent lights. I liked it. The food was made to order and the service was excellent.

Dessert

The food was fantastic. Our server, Susan was delightful. The atmosphere was lovely. The owner Anthony was very attentive of all of his guests. We will dine here again.

Strip loin with mushroom crème sauce and manchego cheese tortellini.

I meant to write this review a couple of days ago, my wife and I visited on Monday. The special was very good, it was a strip loin with manchego tortellini, mixing the meat with the cheese was perfect. The mussels are a favorite of my wife's and they are delicious. The place grew to be busy but the service was excellent. The restaurant always is very clean and has a great look to it. It has become a favorite for us when we want Italian and we live over a half hour away.

Giuseppe's is my go to for awesome Italian dinners when I vacation in Williamsburg Va. The pasta with grandmas meatballs was delicious and just hit the "spot". The pasta with shrimp scampi was amazing. The scampi had a nice sear on them and literally tasted like lobster! Always a great dinner!

Lemon raspberry tiramisu

My friend and I came to Carbo load before the Richmond Half marathon. Giuseppe's does not disappoint! We split the spaghetti & meatballs and pest gnocchi for dinner. The salad that was included was very fresh. For dessert, we split the seasonal lemon raspberry tiramisu, which was so unique but refreshing and delicious! The owner? stopped by the greet us and asked how we liked the dessert. Fast and great service, delicious food for reasonable prices (we're coming from the DC area). I highly recommend this spot that is popular amongst the locals!

These pictures are from various wine themed dinners. The food and wine are deliciously paired. I have several allergies which are always accommodated. I highly recommend you try their food!

When visiting the area I always go here. The food, ambiance and service are the best. If you like Tiramisu then you need to try it out here. MY GRADE: A minus.

I took my family -- wife, 4 kids (9 to 14), and parents. We had a wonderful meal and great service. Nice place.

It was ok. Nothing to write home again. We came here while on vacation. The food was under seasoned though the desserts were good.

Is outdoor dining still an option?

Not always

Is the pasta made in house? :O

They make their own pappardelle and when they have a lasagne or tortellini special they make those pastas as well.

Vegan entrees available?

Yes

Are there any vegan options(no animal products)?

I believe they have vegan and gluten free options. The owners, Anthony and Christina, are very helpful. Give them a call!

I would recommend getting the mustard drizzle on the side, just to be sure it is to your taste. We also had the Crab/Corn Chowder soup. You must try it! Super delicious and flavorful. The onion rings were also very good/hand breaded. Service was excellent and the manager stopped at our table to check on us. The atmosphere is comfortable and ambiance is nice/quiet and clean. Strongly recommended for a good meal in a very nice setting.

The menu also has so many food options, making it easy to find something for everyone. The food overall was great and very enjoyable. However, I would not recommend the brownie and chocolate sundae dessert. The brownie and cookie were cold and hard, which made the dessert disappointing. On the positive side, the carrot cake was huge and definitely worth sharing -- easily enough for 3-4 people. The service was excellent as well. Our waiter was very attentive throughout the meal and made sure everything was taken care of. Overall, Second Street American delivers great food variety, strong service, and a family-friendly atmosphere, with just a few misses on dessert.

I've been all over Italy, Asia, and No America...and this is easily the best pizza I have ever had. The small pizza is still huge, even my 15yo couldn't finish the four slices. The service was attentive and wonderful. Our server was kind, helpful, and interacted really well with our kiddos. I will say that it's a little loud, so that could be overwhelming for some people. But the restaurant is super clean, the decor is fun, and the atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect at a busy pizzeria. I cannot recommend this place enough. Like, I may actually travel the 3,000 miles back to Williamsburg again just for the pizza.

The ambiance is like a dim lighted factory. It's connected to a few other eateries and brewery with restrooms in the lobby of all facilities. Ordered the pretzel bites with a beer cheese. These were good in the sense of being soft, chewy dough balls to dip in cheese. I don't believe they tasted like pretzels at all. They tasted more like the pizza dough, but still a good appetizer. Ordered a pepperoni pizza. Dough was fluffy and airy. It seemed a bit over proofed. The pepperoni overcrowded the top and made for a very greasy topping. Sauce is sweeter than my liking. The taste was similar to a commercial chain pizza so younger children tend to love that. Overall, an interesting setting. We left with full bellies and prices were reasonable.
