This Italian restaurant is top tier. We are visiting from Virginia Beach and staying at the great wolf lodge for the kids. I looked up restaurants that are close (ish) and landed on this Italian gem. The service was phenomenal, the food was divine, and the cannoli was mind blowing! So happy we found this place!

We gathered together at this favorite restaurant for our Ladies Luncheon where Husain(sp?) served us with such efficiency. He inquired about drinks then got them to us quickly. Next he took the orders from each of us, which then he served us in record time. We were so happy because the lunch portions were so huge. Clean restaurant yet clearly packed with customers. We all were able to hear each other without distracting music. Perfect for our group of eighteen. I got the Margarita pizza and was surprised by the huge amount, expecting a personal size but received a pie big enough for four people to dine. I brought home lunch portions of Veal Limone and Gamberi Foresteria. Gamberi Foresteria is Jumbo shrimps. I also brought home the leftover pizza which was made from house made dough and tasted scrumptious.

Ok my! Local Italian restaurant in a strip mall - but terrific food and service. A great value too - large portions at a reasonable price point- Caio!

Here we go. It's Friday which means mum & I find a new place to dine in her new area. We have only doubled once and it's because it was there. This time we craved Italian. Not pizza joint Italian, good Italian food. Boy howdy did we find it! The menu at Tuscany is anything but boring. There are selections I have never seen here in the US. It is quite varied, but favors a seafood base. By seafood I mean crab, shrimp, flounder and Salmon. There are also mussels and clams. We each ordered a main as they bring th came with a house salad. What a salad! It's a Caesar base with arugula and red leaf with red cabbage, cucumber and tomato. We got their Caesar dressing on the side and couldn't finish the huge bowl that came out. Think Olive Garden but better....much much better. Mum order stuffed flounder over fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and I ordered cheese tortoloni con funghi. Her dish was MASSIVE. Seriously. A nice nice piece of flounder wrapped around a large amount of crab sitting on a bed of Alfredo surrounded by shrimps. My dish had the tortellini with Vodka sauce with a few mushrooms (this is part of the reason it's just 4 not 5). I have never had vodka sauce before and didn't realize it was sweet. Very very tasty though What I want to talk about is the house wines. Mum got the house Chardonnay and I got the house Montepulciano. This is where they shine. Both wines were exceptional for a house wine. I am not a fan of a chardonnay but this one is very good. It almost reminds me of a good dry Soave. The montepulciano was deeeelish. Again, these are house wines but tasted like I ordered top shelf. Now let's talk about our server. You all know I am WRETCHED at remembering names so I can't recall it. This is a travesty because he was seriously wonderful. He was very cute with a slightly husky voice and he treated us like he would his nonna. To say he spoiled us is an understatement. I can't wait to go back and sit in his station! I can't wait till I move to this area to be surrounded by such wonderful places to eat. I think I found a new Italian place for when I need pampering. Oh wait! According to the receipt his name is Kenil. Wonderful adorable Kenil. Ask for him, you won't be sorry! This is a perfect place for date night. It is in a shopping area so there is plenty of parking. Hopefully you will love it too.

First time at Tuscany Ristorante tonight and the ambiance and seating is very nice. We loved the amount of space between tables. See pics The service was impeccable, first class and very attentive to our needs(first timers) and very friendly. Thank You The food was delicious, from the salad to appetizers to the entrees. Alot of food at our table, so leftovers tomorrow! Next time, trying the pizza. Pizza dough is from scratch...

First time here and wow was this good. The Florentine and Lasagna was very well prepared. The salad and Garlic knots were good as well. Service with Kenil was great . Will definitely return!

Time for an update... Ironically, Anastasia was our server again tonight. She's still sweet and checked in on us several times. For dinner, I ordered the Trio Parmesan and hubby had the Ravioli Rivera. Both were incredible. Between the garlic knots, salad, dinner, and of course, the chocolate crunch cake for dessert, we left ready to pop! Thoroughly enjoyed

The food at Tuscany Ristorante was amazing. They have a huge variety of options and give you very large portions. The food was very tasty and the unlimited salad and garlic knots were so good! I think the pasta was homemade which made it even more delicious. The service was pretty good. The waitress was nice, but could have been more attentive. If you it with a card, they will charge you a 3% fee. The ambiance was very family oriented. If you want a booth, you have to specifically make a reservation for one. However, overall, the restaurant was nice, not upscale, but quiet and a great place to have a good Italian meal with your family or friends.

Absolutely FANTASTIC!!! I was in the Williamsburg area recently, and a group of five of us decided to eat at this restaurant. Marco was our waiter and he was the absolute best. He came and took our drink order and answered some questions about the menu. A few of us ordered the chicken Parmesan and it was out of this world. My sister ordered lobster ravioli, and she said it was the best she had ever had. They served the meal with a big bowl of salad to share and garlic knots. Everything we had was top-notch. I highly recommend this restaurant and the price is right.

First them meal: Outstanding. The wifey and I both ordered small pizzas. Mine was the All Meat and the wifey ordered the Arugula and Prosciutto. Let me say again both were outstanding and tasted amazing. When talking about my old meat pizza out of the four or five meats on mine with standard it out above the others was the sausage. Had an absolutely wonderful flavor. But surprisingly it didn't overpower when it was combined with the other meats. As for the wife, this is the second time she's had this combination type Pizza. The first time was in an authentic Italian restaurant, but was in Mexico. Yeah, that's kind of crazy pizza in Mexico but at that location down there it was incredible enough to make my wife want it again and this is the first time we have found a location that served a similar pizza. The arugula was fresh, not welted and really popped with flavor. Now both the wife and I had to really agree that the crust for both pizzas was not that heavy dough type. It had a little fluff to it, making it not weighing in your belly after you eat it. Staff: our server was outstanding as well. Very intentive checked on us several times and we even had some conversation back-and-forth. I believe we may have talked also to the owner who was sitting out front. If nothing else he was the manager again another very friendly man that we enjoyed our conversation with. As for the location: we found it very clean. And well kept. If you look at my other past reviews at locations via visited the one thing we really base cleanliness on is sometimes the restrooms. Well, in a shared ladies/men room, it was also very clean and well kept. So I will say again, outstanding location, outstanding staff, and wonderful food. If you're in the area absolutely I would recommend this for your lunchtime meal. We absolutely look forward to going back at a later time and trying some of the other dishes they offer.

But those were somehow not even the worst parts. Let's talk about the garlic. They used jarlic. Not fresh garlic. Jarlic. The wet, pre-minced stuff sitting in a jar of acid and preservatives. And you could absolutely taste it. It tasted less like garlic and more like someone poured citric acid over the pizza. That sour, metallic, preserved-garlic taste was everywhere. If your kitchen can make pizza but cannot be bothered to chop a clove of garlic, that tells me pretty much everything I need to know about the food. And then there was the spinach. I paid EXTRA for spinach. They put ONE piece of spinach on each slice. Literally. One. I actually had to look at the pizza for a moment because I couldn't believe someone had intentionally prepared it that way and then sent it out the door. One lonely piece of spinach per slice isn't a topping. It's evidence that spinach was once in the building. Charging extra for that is absurd. So, to recap: soggy crust, tasteless cheese, garlic from a jar that tasted like citric acid, and a paid spinach topping rationed out one leaf at a time. This wasn't mediocre pizza. Mediocre would have been an improvement. This was remarkably bad. The person who took my order was pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful. That is the entirety of the positive feedback I have. I would not order this again if it were free. Never again
