Really good pizza and garlic knots. The staff were very friendly. We had ordered pepperoni and cheese pizza and were given only cheese which is ok, not a huge fan of regular pepperoni. We are spoiled where we live with cup and char pepperoni. Highly recommend if you want a good slice or pizza. read more

Just OK- average. We got two slices of pizza ($2.80) and 2 fountain drinks ($3.50!!!!!?) and fried calamari (~$14). I don't understand why the fountain drinks costed so much- they were not even bottled and mostly ice in the cup. Fried calamari was kind of tasteless and really small portion for $14. Good ambiance and good servers, we were greeted with a smile. read more

This place was A-OK, nothing special or noteworthy, but nice service and decent food. We stopped in as we both had a hankering for a calzone. I got the meatballs, mushrooms and peppers. The calzone itself was good, nothing standout but solid, the marinara was a bit disappointing though, very small amount and did not seem high quality like I expect from an Italian place, maybe I am spoiled by too many good local ones, but it was watery, flavorless and in small quantity. The service was fine and overall it was a decent dinner stop. Wouldn't be opposed to popping back in on a future visit, but wouldn't be opposed to try somewhere new either. read more

Great selection of great pizza. Family run, friendly service, classic Italian American red sauce menu. Every town needs a place like this, we can't all eat at the "House of Pizza" style joints that serve blando pies. 5 stars but it's smack in the 4.5 space. read more

I was very disappointed in the pizza, there was no taste to it at all. We ordered a veggie pizza and a cheese. Also the buffalo chicken do not try. The chicken Alfredo was very good but little chicken. The spaghetti was bland as well. The only good thing is the size of the large pizza is a big size with big slices. A group of us had pizza, a calzone, and an eggplant parm sub. The Margherita pie was pretty good, with a nice crust and tasty cheese. The calzone, with ham, was on the salty side, but otherwise ok. The eggplant parm sub, while it tasted good, was pretty skimpy for the price. Much better subs can be found elsewhere. Canada Street is not known as a food mecca, rather the selections are very pedestrian, and this pizza joint is no exception. read more

We took a boat ride on the horicon at lake george and stopped at Giuseppe's for pizza/dinner afterward. This is a casual pizza/italian place. Tina our sever was delightful...she treated us like we were at a fine dining restaurant...the Cesar salad was fantastic and the pizza was great...one in our party had the eggplant parm and enjoyed it. The food outstanding the service impeccable there is nothing I could say that is negative about this place. I went with a group of 12 30yr olds and the waiter/bartender Ken was OUTSTANDING I can't even fully describe it. We ordered a whole bunch of apps and pizza and he never skipped a beat. He was nice recommended a lot of things and when he came buy with some wine and drink samples there is no other way to make a group of us happy then drinks. He states he made it him self and we bought some rounds and they were amazing highly recommended the Apple Long Island. Now this is just some personal recommendations not to effect my score I wish there was more garlic in the "garlic knots". The pizza was a tad to doughy As a group of people who know good pizza and it was pretty impressive. I can just say I will be returning. There are a few spots that get 5 stars but this place gets it read more

Giuseppe's is one of the best pizza spots in Lake George. Everything was amazing the service, food, drinks atmosphere was excellent! We were greeted right away & sat at a nice corner table on the patio. Our server came to our table within minutes to introduce herself & get us our drinks. We ordered mozzarella sticks & an antipasto for appetizers & they were excellent! For dinner we opted for a pizza & I'm glad we did. The pizza was so good came to the table hot & cooked to perfection! All of the food comes out, incredibly hot and very quickly. Very enjoyable restaurant experience. We also really enjoyed their old-school Italian music that was playing on the patio! Our server was absolutely amazing checking on us every chance she got. Got a pie with sausage, mushrooms and onions to compare and contrast with what I usually get at my local pizzeria Gaby's. The amount of the toppings you get here as compared to Gaby's is penurious. Also, the crust of the pie was too rigid for my taste as compared to Gaby's. Edible, not delectable. read more

Nice seating in the patio but significantly more spacious inside and to the right. Next time we will dine on-site. Pizza , very yummy , brought home a cheese and pepperoni pie. The sauce had a wonderful spice aroma.. oregano or something... just yummy. Fries were crispy. Potato skins just ok. All in all , cant wait to try more next round. read more

We decided to give this restaurant a shot as we were staying at a nearby hotel. Upon reaching the hostess we greeted us and told us the wait was 15 mins. We decided to wait and was able to get in around 20 mins later. Nice open, spacious seating area. Wait staff were very nice. Food was great but drinks well, not happy. Two drinks we ordered we watered down. Mind you I don't even drink often and I couldn't even taste he alcohol lol. My wife had to order a shot of tequila to add it to her drink. Overall the food, ambiance and wait staff were nice but they really need to provide decent cocktails and not be so cheap. In fairness to them and after we'd told them about the weak drinks, they gave us that tequila shot in the house. We'll likely go back but hope the cocktails will turn out to be much better?? read more

We got into Lake George pretty late (10pm) and we were starving! Walked down the main drag and saw Giuseppe's still open. LOCATION: Right on the main road in Lake George. All seating is outdoors (covered) so you can't go wrong. SERVICE: The place was still busy that late at night but our service was prompt and attentive. FOOD: Portions were huge! We split a chicken parm and we couldn't finish it all. I wasn't a fan of the sauce (too chunky for my liking) - but that's just me. We did order pizza from here last time we were in Lake George and it was awesome! I'm definitely going back and trying something new when I do! read more

Giuseppe's in Lake george on Canada at. Is one of the best pizza spots in NY. Make no mistake , this may be far from NYC or Brooklyn where pizza is king but the queen of the lakes sure has supplied the "queen" of pizza to the Adirondacks. Not to mention, Giuseppe's has an amazing menu of sangria's, Homemade , made with love from Ken the bartender. It's amazing. Do yourself a favor and stop in at this place. You won't be sorry. Fantastic food and very good service. There was a slight wait, but expected. The menu has several options within its genre of pizza and Italian food. We ordered different "family" items in the menu and everyone loved their meal. The pizza is very good with a good thickness on the crust. Their bestseller is a stuffed and rolled up eggplant. It was delicious and I would recommend this over the traditional eggplant parmigiana. Overall, we truly enjoyed our meals and so glad we stopped by. This is definitely a place to eat when in Lake George. read more

I can't even explain this restaurant worse. first thing i need to say is the food. i found a bunch of spiders inside of the food and it looked like it was on purpose! Second of all there was a bunch of cockroaches on the floor and it made my kids cry! Next the bathrooms are outrageous! pee all over the floor, little bits of poop on the toilet and some on the floor! Next the service the waiter said my kids choice of the meal was crap and cursed me out for not taking care of my child! it's all just horrible read more

This place reminds me of the pizza places I grew up around in New England, meaning, very average. After being spoiled in New York City and areas outside of New York, I don't think this place can justify their prices. That said, super friendly staff and cool atmosphere. Glad we stopped. read more

The only thing that makes this place tolerable is the fact that most other restaurants in the lake George village are so horrible. I guess we're not using fresh tomato on a Margherita Pizza? Ok, if that's not their style then what's up with the literal 2 basil leaves they chopped up and tossed on top? Pretty sad.... Lasagna? Was that individually made to order? Not sure but it was watery and flavorless. Just don't offer it if it's too difficult to make... Garlic knots saved them from just one star. read more

Every step has a raised lip of about half an inch, there are no handrails, no handicap signage, and the parking lot is in a serious state of disrepair. I genuinely have no idea how this passed inspection. Thankfully, my uncle did not hit his head and will be okay aside from some soreness and bruising. I understand that running a small business is not easy, but skimping on safety--especially accessibility--is a non-starter for me. Until these issues are addressed, I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant.
