So, I drove roughly 20 minutes to a pizzeria to buy a couple of...sandwiches. Awkward, yeah? Well, I was craving for a fat sandwich/sub/hero/whatever and I didn't mind driving a little far for one. The place I wanted to go to closes early, so I wasn't able to stop by. Giuseppe's is open until midnight (today) so I gave them a shot. Italian Hero ($6.95): This 12"/foot long sandwich comes with ham, salami, cappicola, provolone, lettuce, onions, tomato, oil, and vinegar. The bread was soft and held the meat well. The slices of meat were tasty, but I think the red onions overpowered the sandwich a bit. I was glad to see that the ratio of meat to vegetables was equal. Considering the size of this sandwich and price, it's a pretty good deal. You don't get a side or drink, but not a problem. Fat Bastard ($6.95): Like the Italian hero, it's a 12"/foot long sandwich with the same soft bread. It comes with cheesesteak, a mozzarella stick, fried onions, chopped chicken cutlet, french fries, and a good slather of mayo. The meat was surprisingly juicy and pretty flavorful to be honest. I think they threw in some sauteed mushrooms too, which added a nice saltiness. Don't expect giant fries, mozz sticks, chicken cutlet, etc.; however, like the other sandwich, the sandwich size and price is on point. I just would've liked to see a little more cheesesteak or whatever else in it. The area this pizzeria in is, as others mentioned, "ghetto." As for the employees, they were very friendly. The woman I spoke to was very welcoming and kept calling me by name when she had a question. I'm not sure I would drive all the way to Hillside for pizza, pasta, or a fat sandwich but if I happen to be in the area, I wouldn't mind stopping by for take out. read more

Horrible service and no regard for doing right by their customers! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. YOU WILL REGRET IT. I ordered a grilled chicken salad, specifically asked what was in it and requested no onions. They repeated the order back to me and everything but when I got my salad, there we're not only onions but also picked vegetables (which they didn't tell me about). I took a few bites before realizing the order was wrong and calling to request a replacement. I was told I couldn't get another one because I should've called them before I ate any. Seriously!?! Apparently, they require you return food untouched when an order is incorrect. To do what I ask, serve it to someone else after it has been opened and returned?!? To make matters worse, I asked for a manager and was told they weren't there today so there was nothing they could do for me. So I'm stuck with a nasty, soggy, onion-riddled salad for dinner. My go to for late night hunger pangs. The pizza is decent. The crust is chewy, great for folding, and the sauce is a tad sweet like I like it. The only issue is that I ordered delivery. They messed up the toppings. I asked for olives and they gave me onions. And the pizza was mushed to the side, as it was turned vertically while in the box. I also ordered wings, which were delicious but not spicy at all. The food is pretty standard, run of the mill, nothing too exciting or disappointing. read more

The stuffed pizza was glorious. Solid menu I've had some appetizers they were great as well only issue with delivery is when they get put in the bag and the heat gets held in your appetizers get soggy. But you live and you learn. You gotta take a chance Columbus did. read more

Pizza slices are big but a little too greasy. The crust is soft, the sauce is average and the cheese is too stretchy for me. They also serve Jamaican beef patties there too and they are pretty good. I heard it is good and average and is delivered terribly. I have no choice but to go there because it is literally 0.1 miles from where I live. read more

GHETTO EMPLOYEES. GHETTO SERVICE. GHETTO STAFF. I have to take the police to get a refund for a pizza I never got! Because the losers that work there won't refund my credit card. Average Pizza, but Below Average Service, did I mention...ghetto? After ordering a VEGETARIAN pizza, I received a PEPPERONI Pizza delivered to my house. After THREE PHONE CALLS (one answered by a fax machine), I was told to keep the pizza and that they could not refund because of computer issues and to call back the next day. Called back the next morning and was told to call back at 5. So after 5 phone calls, 24 hours...they offended a free pizza...except I PAID FOR IT THE NIGHT BEFORE. No let me throw in a free soda since you've been waiting A FULL DAY FOR A PIZZA. Recently moving to the area...this is the pizza that I chose to eat on the regular, so basically THEY DONT CARE ABOUT REGULAR CUSTOMERS. If you need a pizza call Papa John. Just ordered chicken over rice and house salad... eat 24 called me back to say the restaurant was out.. so I orders another chicken dish, again return call saying their out. At this point I'm like ok can they tell me what they have... eat 24 rep comes back saying the restaurant was out of all meat and seafood... ummm so why not state that initially??? If you want completely awful delivery service with an incompetent staff. You've called the right place! The person. Who answered the phone completely screwed up the order and sent me the wrong pizza. After I made them aware they said they would call me back in 5 mins. After waiting for my call back for 15 mins I called them. So for some reason they couldn't deliver the right pizza and asked me to call back the next day for my credit card refund. Strange, but OK. I call back the next day and the guy says you have to call back after 5 to speak with a manager. I call after 5 and ask them to just send me the correct pizza. And guess what...they STILL SENT THE WRONG PIZZA. At this point I'm livid. I send the pizza back with the delivery guy and immediately call them back for a refund. The incompetent person again answered the phone and commences to go on a tirade on how he's not going to refund my money clearly knowing they delivered and received back the wrong pizza. I am now disputing the charge with my credit card company. Do yourself a favor and save yourself the aggravation of ordering a less than mediocre pizza from an incompetent staff who clearly don't care about their customers. The worst!!! While staying at a local hotel, I called to place an order. When the person taking my order hung up before I had even finished ordering or payed over the phone, I should have known to just cancel my order then, but instead made the mistake of calling back and giving my credit card info. After waiting 45 minutes, my order was delivered and multiple things were completely incorrect. When I called the place back, I was put on hold multiple times, spoke to 3 different people, and was told that I must have ordered incorrectly. I was then told that if I didn't want the order, I could give it back to the driver. When I asked if the correct order would be sent out I was told I would have to pay for it. When I asked if the food could just be picked up and a refund processed, I was put on hold while they checked. They begrudgingly consented, but I'm not holding my breath. I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of their profit comes from overcharging out-of-towners who won't be around long enough to argue. read more
