My husband and I were driving back from Big Sur and we were going to go to giant artichoke…read more However, I saw signs that said Pezzini farms and advertised all what they had. I immediately had my husband take that exit and check it out. When I saw artichokes artichokes and more artichokes,, I was sold. I went there to look and see what they had. We found so many amazing items! We purchased pasta sauce, artichoke salsa, artichoke focaccia, bread, artichoke bread, artichoke sweet bread, like banana bread, but with artichokes, we bought actual artichokes, artichoke pizza, and mushroom pizza, frozen deep-fried artichokes, a Japanese black watermelon, a cactus plant, artichoke raviolis, and some amazing soft English muffins. Very unique. I know it was a lot, but we don't live close by so we wanted to stock up. What I really like about this place is the friendly people there especially Sara and there was another gal that unfortunately I didn't get her name and the fact that all the artichoke items are from the artichoke fields there and they support local/family bakers and businesses. We also went to the "Choke Coach" it was recommended by Sara. It was on the premises and it was a food truck that primarily sold artichoke related items. I ordered the three artichoke tacos, which were amazing and the grilled artichokes with a lime cilantro dip. Very yummy! My husband ordered a bratwurst sandwich. The people working there, Maria and Bety we're very friendly and great cooks and customer service I was so glad we made that turn off the freeway! This place is a true gem. They also have cornhole to play while you're waiting for your food or just want to enjoy some fun for a minute. There was a cute, big chair for a Kodak moment

Cute spot but talk about highway robbery no pun intended…read more I would have walked away satisfied if I was held at gunpoint and my wallet was taken instead of paying $11 for 5 fried artichokes the size of quarters. I will continue to stop at Pezzini to drop my loads but skip the food truck in the lot. Some of the worst fried artichokes in the central coast

We were able to connect to purchase our primary goal of oysters, which were yummy. Vickie was engaging, answered our questions only about the seafood available to sale but also enjoyed sharing her journey of becoming a seafood monger. We also took advantage of buying freshly caught halibut that she was readily to custom cut for the weight we wanted and added some additional unfamiliar smaller fish great for Filipino broth soup and baking. If we ever head down to Moss Beach for another outing, we'll stop by. Easy and ample parking. Make sure mindful to park in the general public area rather than reserved for only vendors.

The Harbor Master told us if the gate was open, she was in business. We walked out to her boat and I told her we'd like some swordfish. She cut us a couple of nice steaks and charged us a very reasonable price. We took them back to the RV parked next door and grilled them for dinner. They were excellent. My wife said it was the best swordfish she had ever had. We go to ML often and the Beticia will be a regular stop for fresh fish.

I understand they have a closing time of 8:30, and was happy to just get served, but I feel like it's a missed opportunity not to just stay open until 9pm on Friday's and Saturdays? Weak! What's the difference? I guess it's just a Prunedale thing. The waitress was nice and offered me a water while I waited. Water tasted weird even with a lemon wedge squeezed into it. To-go bag came fully loaded with chips salsa and avocado dressing which I appreciated. Everyone seemed cool there and they were playing music in the back and having fun which was good to see they have a positive work culture here. I ordered the chicken enchiladas and would rate them a 6/10. Raw red onions on top seemed out of place and it was covered in way too much cheese that wasn't melted so I removed that. The chicken was slightly dry and fine but didn't seem super fresh... I was pretty hungry so I enjoyed it enough to almost finish it. It was a good portion and price point of $18 seemed correct. I think you just need to know what to order here. I came here before and I would highly recommend their ceviche. I would have rated them a 3/5 but don't really feel the need to hurt their score at all but they could do better for what they're presenting.

In my previous review, I mentioned that I was keeping my…read moresubscription despite the decline in variety and service because I had purchased bulk king salmon which supposedly they were keeping in storage for me, and I was requesting deliveries of several fillets every couple of months. In March 2024, I received an email saying that they needed to clear out their bulk storage, and I had the option of receiving all of my salmon at once, or with each regular delivery until it's all gone. I was to reply within a week or the remainder of my supply would be donated. I replied saying sure, send some of it with each regular delivery, to which they replied: "Unfortunately, the season has been closed since last year but, we can definitely send Sockeye or Coho salmon instead." Turns out even though I paid for king salmon AND they claimed that they still had it and needed to clear out storage, they actually didn't have the amount all of their members had pre-purchased in storage, due to "quality concerns" beyond a certain period. Which they NEVER gave me any heads up about until this point. So when their email went out, the first handful of people to reply got the rest of the king salmon, and they wanted me to accept a different variety instead. A couple of months and over a dozen emails later, I finally received a refund for the rest of the salmon I thought I had bought. I'm very disappointed in how this situation was handled. While I see that they now explain the terms more clearly for their bulk sales, with the prioritization of ad-hoc sales over regular subscriptions for product variety and quality, I don't see the value of this service anymore compared to buying fish from my local farmer's market.

I asked the guy and he insisted they were Albion even though the signage did not state this. 3 baskets/$18. I asked him if they're the same as the San Carlos vendor and he said they were.
