Is this the one with the green canopy and green sign? Green…read morecanopy & green sign - 2 stars. Blue canopy, white sign - 5 signs Today I discovered there are different "Rodriguez Farms." Yesterday I went to the CSM Farmers Market in San Mateo. Green canopy and green banner sign. I thought it was odd they didn't have the usual "Albion" strawberries I buy since they're sweeter than the non-Albion. I asked the guy and he insisted they were Albion even though the signage did not state this. 3 baskets/$18. I asked him if they're the same as the San Carlos vendor and he said they were. He was misleading if not an outright liar. Today I went to the San Carlos Farmers Market. BLUE Canopy and not a green sign. The guy there told me there are at least two different "Rodriguez Farms." The one in San Carlos has Albion for 3 baskets/$20 and is sweeter than the regular. TLDR: get them at the San Carlos Farmers Market on Sundays. Don't get them at the CSM Farmers Market on Saturdays.

ORDER Biggest box of strawberries - $20 STARS (stand out qualities) -Food (5/5 stars) - red and delicious strawberries -Service (3/5 stars) - one staff gave me a sour face when I asked to pick another box because I saw some bruised strawberries -Ambiance (4/5 stars) - quick service STAIRS (areas of growth) -Feels a bit too salesy but I understand they need to make a living! TIPS -Fot the big box, rhetorical offered me $20 even though it is advertised as $25 -They offer plastic bag but farmers market has station to give one or get one reusable bag

My husband and I were driving back from Big Sur and we were going to go to giant artichoke…read more However, I saw signs that said Pezzini farms and advertised all what they had. I immediately had my husband take that exit and check it out. When I saw artichokes artichokes and more artichokes,, I was sold. I went there to look and see what they had. We found so many amazing items! We purchased pasta sauce, artichoke salsa, artichoke focaccia, bread, artichoke bread, artichoke sweet bread, like banana bread, but with artichokes, we bought actual artichokes, artichoke pizza, and mushroom pizza, frozen deep-fried artichokes, a Japanese black watermelon, a cactus plant, artichoke raviolis, and some amazing soft English muffins. Very unique. I know it was a lot, but we don't live close by so we wanted to stock up. What I really like about this place is the friendly people there especially Sara and there was another gal that unfortunately I didn't get her name and the fact that all the artichoke items are from the artichoke fields there and they support local/family bakers and businesses. We also went to the "Choke Coach" it was recommended by Sara. It was on the premises and it was a food truck that primarily sold artichoke related items. I ordered the three artichoke tacos, which were amazing and the grilled artichokes with a lime cilantro dip. Very yummy! My husband ordered a bratwurst sandwich. The people working there, Maria and Bety we're very friendly and great cooks and customer service I was so glad we made that turn off the freeway! This place is a true gem. They also have cornhole to play while you're waiting for your food or just want to enjoy some fun for a minute. There was a cute, big chair for a Kodak moment

Cute spot but talk about highway robbery no pun intended…read more I would have walked away satisfied if I was held at gunpoint and my wallet was taken instead of paying $11 for 5 fried artichokes the size of quarters. I will continue to stop at Pezzini to drop my loads but skip the food truck in the lot. Some of the worst fried artichokes in the central coast
