I walked in here and heard the beautiful Italian language being spoken by the owner. I got excited to eat here immediately. I kept it simple and ordered a couple slices of cheese. A new name does not make up for horrible attention to detail. Ordered a large pie, and a pound of boneless wings, and 2 sides of Bleu cheese. But when we asked for half the wings to be one sauce A & the other half sauce B, we were told that they would have to charge us more for it. No big deal. But what did we actually receive? A pie, 8 tiny boneless wings in sauce A, 10 bone in wings in sauce B, and no Bleu cheese at all. Needless to say that the two did NOT weigh the same. The ones with the bones weighed more than double that of the boneless. If you are not going to be actually weighing out the portion size, then don't bother to sell it as such. Just say that you can buy 8 boneless wings for $7. Though at that point you might as well just toss in another $1 & just say a buck a boneless wing. & lack of attention to details is the WORST thing for someone in the food industry. read more

The food was excellent fresh and hot. The service was so good I can't even explain it well actually I can LOL. Because one of my family members has problems chewing the crew did not mind going out of their way and meticulously cutting up an anti pasta so my family member didn't choke. If I could give 0 stars I would! I originally posted my review on Facebook but because the new management is COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. And when I gave my review they made it so no one can leave a review anymore AND tried saying my friends (former employees) put me up to it! Nope they sure didn't. The new recipes are AWFUL. If you're going to change the recipes then just change the name don't just throw your name on the end of it. I will NEVER visit this establishment again. read more

Was a little concerned about it being a new owner. We weren't aware of the change until we went in. My husband prefers their pizza, vs those closer to our home, so this is where we ended up. Some confusion over a coupon I'd printed from a website (got the feeling previous owner really screwed this guy with handing out gift cards or coupons), but it was handled in a professional manner, as I'd expect. Ordered one plain pie and one with pepperoni. Both were fantastic!! The crust is absolutely AMAZING!! Has the yeasty flavor you only get from a solid recipe and fresh ingredients. The sauce was flavorful and thick. (Maybe it was diluted in the past? Not sure, but the consistency now is much better.) The only (very minor) disappointment was the medium wing sauce seemed to be a different recipe, however that will not prevent us from returning. After speaking with staff, it seems some previous employees were unhappy the new owner runs a much tighter ship than the previous, so I'd recommend you be wary of negative reviews and try for yourself! read more

This was the worst pizza and garlic bread I have ever had my entire life. Besides being burnt and more chewy than my dogs toy it was greasy. To the point I had grease on my stove from the box. The garlic bread is a 12" sub roll with some garlic salt and butter inside. It is really a tragic disappointment and insult to all pizza joints. Buyer beware. read more

I've been here a few times and always wonder why I come back. I get the staff is making minimum wage but they could at least be cordial instead of rude. The food is ok at best and you're lucky if they get your order correct. I've had burnt pizza and almost raw pizza. And a turkey sub with everything but mayo apparently consists of turkey(2slices) and cheese. read more

This is a great restaurant for what it is. My sister had good gluten free pizza, and mine was full of gluten and spectacular. It's not claiming to be anything fancy, so it's almost worth the 5 star rating. Could is a little more upkeep, but too much change would make it inauthentic. If this helps....My daughter goes to college in Massachusetts, she came home this weekend and the first thing she said was: "Mom, can we have Big Cheese Pizza for dinner tonight?" YES!!! We really like the food at The Big Cheese, from pasta dinners, YUMMY!, to pizza and wings (really good!!!) to calzones and cannolies! The staff is great, too! Always a nice welcome and when you go there often they recognize you - and that means a lot to me! I'm glad we have them in town! AND......I'm glad they have a rewards program and participate in the Smart Shopper's book! It is always important for me to find a place to eat out and have a COUPON!!!
