The food is decent! The pizza is on the smaller side but tastes good. Has lots of cheese and the crust is chewy. The wings are flavorful yet smaller. The taters or very yummy. They play Disney movies on the projector, so it's a family favorite. The service is very efficient and extremely friendly. The ambiance is rustic, comfortable and family style. Wooden benches with wooden table that have carved names. I recommend this place if you are in the area. We like to go every month or so. read more

Hate placing a poor review, had limited to no experience with Oneida location so tried with some co-workers on a to go order from their new Sherrill location. People friendly, food so, so. Blue Hamburger came with bacon and blue cheese, the sodium - aka salt from their bacon had to be a monthly limit for a person. All they tasted after eating the burger was salt. Couldn't figure out what was so salty until they tried just their bacon. Burger otherwise was just ok. Chicken Parmesan sandwich - chicken ok, their sauce so, so. Not sure if they use the same sauce on their pizza? Had no taste. Ceaser salad - some of their lettuce was brown in the salad. Hopefully, no plans to order to go again or try it in-house. read more

Definitely NOT your typical pizza joint! Normally we just call in our order, go for a walk to pick it up & go home. So we knew that it was a quirky establishment. But a month ago we went with some friends & actually ate there. More on that later. So the pizzas are really good, not the best I've ever had, but I'm picky & have had a LOT of pizza! Now one thing I've noticed about this area, which is weird, is that they like to cut their pies like sheets. So it's not just one of the quirks for this establishment, it's a theme in the area. From the family movies being projected on the wall during your meal, to the 30' long table & benches for you to get close & eat at. While visiting family, we came to the restaurant for the first time to support a local establishment instead of our favorite place in the next town over. We decided what we wanted and went to the counter to order. 3 times while taking our order the employee answered the phone and took carryout orders. We told him after the 2nd time we thought it was poor business practice to make us wait while he took entire orders; he informed us it was policy and proceeded to do it again before we were able to complete our order. We order carryout from many restaurants quite often. At every establishment, from pizza places to higher-end Mediterranean and Seafood places I have frequently been asked to hold while they finish the transaction with the customer in the restaurant. I later heard an other employee complaining about us to another customer and saying that they would lose business if they didn't answer the phone. We never insinuated that they shouldn't answer the phone... simply that they should ask that customer to hold for 1-2 minutes. VERY disappointed. I would have given a one star were it not for the quality of the food. Everyone said their meals were good, but we will not be returning unless their "policy" changes. read more

This was our first time at this restaurant. We had no idea what to expect other than they'll obviously have pizza. Walked in to a completely empty dining room and received WONDERFUL service. They told us about their special hot wings and even gave us one each to try to make sure we'd like them before we committed to ordering! They were delicious! The BOSS sauce is amazing! I had been to the Hamilton location many times as a child with no real recollection of the food. I remembered they had a screen playing cartoons or kid's movies. We decided to try it today. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was just as I remember, minus 30+ swim team kids. We ordered wings and burgers for lunch. The hot wings are fantastic. The Black and Blue burger was cooked to perfection. And the fries are very tasty! We ordered pizza to take home for dinner. Hoping the pizza is as good as the rest of our order. We've been traveling to New York Mills because we've been unable to find a place, locally, that meets all of our expectations. We believe we finally have!! read more

The Pizza Pub is a good family restaurant. The Pizza is great, the wings are good, the tater logs are great. The only problem I have, and I've mentioned this to them on more than one occasion, is that they don't rotate their salad bar toppings. They just keep adding to the top. Many times, you'll find rotten onions or peppers at the bottom of the bucket. You can tell they don't use new, clean containers every day. I enjoy their salad bar and dressings but I always have to check it before I order just to be sure it's edible. If they would use new clean containers every day, the toppings would get rotated and would be fresh all the time. read more

I disagree with everyone saying how good the pizza is here. Yes, the establishment is cute with the projector and the booths with carvings all over them, but the food is not. I stopped by and picked up a medium pizza and 15 garlic and parmesan wings and and it was $28 so I expected a lot. The pizza was ok for upstate new york standards, not a lot of cheese and the sauce was a bit watery. The wings were disgusting. Out of the 15 wings, there were maybe 3 that actually looked like a chicken wing. The rest were so tiny and had practically no meat on them. Not to mention that it smelled awful, like a dirty person.
