New to the Utica area for work wanted some pizza and got HUGE slices. Cheese and purple cow (think buffalo chicken) problem is purple cow was LOADED with chicken very fully and good, cheese was very good too. Young lady at the counter was great at helping me figure out what purple cow was and even told me I may want just the one slice as they are big and loaded. Wasn't kidding. Best Pizza in the area by a mile. Thin crust. Just phenomenal. Hard working staff. I have not had their wings but I know people who have and they love it. If you don't have a lot of money to through around and can't afford to make a mistake this is the place for you. A plain cheese pizza will not disappoint. read more

Heard a bunch a hype for this place and was in town for work. I normally just get a cheese slice but the Margherita picture looked pretty good. I got slice and it was pretty big, as it should be for almost 6 bucks. Slice was nice and thin with a good crisp when you bite into it. Sauce was good and the cheese and basil were fresh. They only have a counter to stand and eat here so don't plan on eating in. Counter person was friendly and service was quick. Good spot for some pizza for sure. read more

I bought $20 gift card for a friend's Christmas. The following year, I bought another $20 gift card. The third year ,the staff made me mad. I didn't buy one. The man said, as I left"as long as they are valid." Which I didn't understand. I did a review before, as to how much they hate their customers. They removed all of the tables and chairs. My friend and I went into the place (May 14, 2025) and was told the gift the gift cards are no good. Invalid. Because they changed their system. I have lost my $40. The girl behind the counter recognized me. They knew they were going to do this when they sold me my second card. They rob their customers and get away with it. I doubt that I am the only one. They gave my 3 yr old a thin burnt cheese pizza. I do not recommend going there. Tony's however is amazing.

Hypes: - slice is known to be pizza closest to that nyc slice that you can get. Just know that these slices are HUGE! Triple the standard nyc slice but also cheaper. Taste wise it's a solid pizza. - riggies - I went in for pizza but everyone sitting also had an order of chicken riggies. Must be the popular kid in the pizza store. I'll try it next tile - On Yelp- the place has stars docked for staff and I have no idea what they were talking about. I should've checked the reviews before ordering. The pizza is good but I got the boneless chicken with it and it's so bad! They gave us the wrong order, it was supposed to be garlic sauce but gave us Buffalo sauce which was not good at all! It's soo salty and oily! We've been ordering lunch from here every other week, or so. Everything has been wonderful until today's order arrived. Ordered slices with sausage & cherry peppers, got sausage & bell peppers. (No big deal, honest mistake) Then we opened the wings (@$15 for 10, we got 2 orders) Apparently wing tips are now counted because we got 19 wings & 1 tip. This place turned into a dump. Idk if there are new owners or what's going on but as you can see from my photos from two years ago they used to have bomb ass pizza and wings. I would honestly never go back here. The purple cow pizza was gross, the chicken was thick and dry on the pizza and there was barely any sauce on it. We ended up sending it back. Half of the purple cow wings were burnt. The place looks wicked dirty inside. This place use to have good food and now they are the worst in Utica, Fastrac gives you a better pizza! They pizza is fry and little cheese. Also the customer service on the phone was horrible. They give you the impression you are bothering them. There wings are "boneless" well let's just say these are not what you would expect. Also they never give you the correct amount. i would give zero stars if allowed. Ordered a margarita pizza. When I complained that the cheese was burned and that only some of the slices even had cheese on them they told me it was how they made it. Left Utica 4 years ago and came back to find that Slice Pizzeria was the talk of town so I had to hit it up. To my surprise Slice made some of the best pizza I've had. The best thing on their menu of course is their upside down pizza. With just cheese, crust and sauce, so simple but so delicious, a must try. Their crust is amazing, I mean how are they making this?
