Heard they reopened in a new location but never seemed to find time or thought about it. Decided today was the day....Have been kicking myself that we haven't tired it sooner. It was so good. Staff there were friendly, warm, and inviting. We spoke to the owner for a while about a shared experience in DC. The restaurant back in the day was so dark when it was the Black Cat and now is so open, light, and inviting. Nothing fancy but is great for a casual meal. Now for the Pizza.... What makes it so great is the thin light and crispy crust with the right amount of toppings and cheese. They offer many different and unique pizzas and am looking forward to returning and trying several other pizzas. Would highly recommend, truly a five star experience.

Heard the year before they did a PB&J wing and knew that we had to try. Went on Wing Wednesday by happenstance ... Wings are .95 which is a great deal..they had a live band in the bar area but chose counter service instead. Wings came out quick and hot. The PBJ wings lived up to all the hype. After having wings at their restaurant I see why they have won awards for several years. Wings were tender, crispy, and the sauce was amazing. With it being Wing Wednesday and live entertainment it was rather crowed. This is your typical wing and pizza joint nothing fancy or stuff but a great casual place for a night out. Haven't tried their Pizza yet but that is next up on our list.

Not your ordinary slice of pizza, Joe's makes their pies with the sauce on top an cheese on the bottom giving it a unconventional twist that I swear will blow you away. Joe's wings are also just as good as their pizzas. Their wings are humongous and amazingly delicious especially their everything wings. Make sure when you order to ask to make them extra crispy because they taste 10x better that way. Overall, Joe's pizza is one best pizza joint I've had. They price are very reasonable which is also a plus.

While waiting for the food my co-workers and checked out all the historic sports jerseys hanging up in the dining area. Once the pizza came it was game on. I'm not a big guy but I got to brag a little because I finished more of the pizzas than one of my taller co-workers. If I come back to this area, Big Jay's will be one of my stops.

They have a thicker slice than I prefer but I got the mushroom and sausage which was LOADED with toppings. The cheesecake slice was large and VERY dense with a side of strawberry topping for me to use or not use. It was very thick with large chunks of strawberries. A slice and a cheesecake cost $9.
