Utica's beat pizza, hands down! Hot, cheap, fresh and fast. I usually get the lunch specials. Their cannoli are amazing too! They have a website if you want your food delivered. I also suggest trying the rice balls.

Not sure what's going on at SLICE! Today is my 50th and I am a REGULAR CUSTOMER...it was early and I wanted my usual order! So I see the cheesecake and WANT IT! The girl going to tell me it's not ready....yet By the time my pizza and wings are done, the cake would also be! Instead of allowing me to wait....she said it's not cut (I'm looking at two cakes, one cut) just not dressed! So instead of $32 or MORE?! You were willing to take $27?! Not my money WITH AN ATTITUDE?! I walked out! That was STRIKE 2! Humble yourself, without CUSTOMERS where would you be?!

    Foot Long Slice

When I was in Utica I asked my students what's the best pizza in town. The first, girl said red lobster, she is now no longer allowed on my bus, rumor has it shes been walking to barefoot to school so much she's going straight to the olympics out of middle school. But no seriously, they told me This place called slice. I didn't go cause I said kids taste buds be different. But finally I caved in and now I'm a believer! I'm actually headed there now. the Pizza is good enough to not be stuffed but if you just want that old School NYC slice, Big and worth the Buck.....Pause

    10 Hot Wings

Ordered a House Pizza. It was pretty good but I prefer the extra large NY style. Service is always friendly at Slice. It's a go to place for me.

I should've checked the reviews before ordering. The pizza is good but I got the boneless chicken with it and it's so bad! They gave us the wrong order, it was supposed to be garlic sauce but gave us Buffalo sauce which was not good at all! It's soo salty and oily! The chicken wasn't even battered and fried like a typical boneless wing. See the pic below

We've been ordering lunch from here every other week, or so. Everything has been wonderful until today's order arrived. Ordered slices with sausage & cherry peppers, got sausage & bell peppers. (No big deal, honest mistake) Then we opened the wings (@$15 for 10, we got 2 orders) Apparently wing tips are now counted because we got 19 wings & 1 tip. Just hoping that these mistakes can be remedied, because they, normally, have it dialed in. Update: My order was made right by Slice. Thank you! I would still babe ordering from them anyway! Keep being you! Made my day.

The boneless wings aren't great but we like the cheese pizza and love the All The Way, when it's made correctly.

Not sure how this place is in business. Worst pizza I've ever had. I've had frozen pizza better than this. Pretty let down.

Great pizza. Quick service. Attitude of staff indicates they're part of that Utica population that thinks Utica is adjacent to Yonkers.

God help you if you eat inside this restaurant. They won't even give you a glass of water. The only restaurant in the world that doesn't.

Loved all the exposed brick and Frank Sinatra playing. This restaurant was born from what I read out of catering. Had high hopes for lunchtime bites but to be honest was disappointed. While they had an interesting assortment of sandwiches. The wait for a coveted sandwich was an hour and there were only two tables available to eat your treats and food and "NO" seating to sit and wait for your food. This for me was a huge turn off given I ordered a Mario which was a warm meatball sub and definitely something I would not eat in my car. Mario sandwich but the Michael sandwich sounded good but was rather bland but was over powered by sun dried peppers. Restaurant had bakery cases filled with goodies, loaves of homemade bread, and a refrigerated cases filled with grab and go meals which is nice. Next time I may try a grab and go option. But sandwiches were OK and with no place to eat was a definite No given the wait. Realize this restaurant just opened and am hoping they are still working things out

A real struggle on graduation weekend:…read more Party of 12, Saturday night. We were told that it wasn't going to be a prix fixe menu as we were a party of under 12 when the reservation was booked (we asked). It was. Selection was somewhat limited particularly for the vegetarians but the waitress said that they could swap veggies in for the trout in the risotto. They didn't. It was just risotto. Potato leek soup. So salty that it was inedible. Like sea water salty. Three of us sent it back. NY Strip. Boring and clearly hadn't been seasoned before cooking (ironic). Not quite cold but really, really close. A little tiny ramekin of chimichurri sauce which I was supposed it make it interesting or tasty I guess. It was neither. The whipped potatoes were delicious. Desert was a borderline interminable wait. And then they served gelato and sorbet to four of us. Think milkshake. A thin, runny milkshake, approaching soup. The food runners and waitress were so embarrassed they couldn't look at us when they dropped the desert and ran. Who lets ice scream, posing as soup out of the kitchen. It used to be a quaint little place with fantastic food ... And now, an overpriced, industrial'ish place with sub-par food (although the owners are clearly cashing out, leaning on its prior reputation). Unfortunate. $85 a head, $1,500 all in with drinks and tip.
