What a LOVELY dining experience! Ambiance 4.5 STARS It was very rustic and charming! I love the option of dining outside or inside. The bar is a nice size and they have some fun decorative pieces like a globe throughout the restaurant. Food 5 STARS I only had an appetizer, but it was delicious. The shaved ribeye crostini's were amazing. The steak was tender and topped with Caramelized Onions, Gorgonzola Cheese, Balsamic Glaze on soft white bread. The combination made my mouth feel happy. Cocktail 5 STARS THE Fig-tini was magical and probably one of the best drinks I have EVER had in my entire life. The tartness of the white cranberry juice paired with fig vodka was so GOOD! I loved this drink and will go back for one very soon. Service 5 STARS Noah was a great server! He was professional and full of good energy. He was very personable and knowledgeable. He made my first experience at Giovanni's excellent. I will be back to try more food and cocktails. I have been wanting to eat and drink here for a while. My first visit was great. I'm so happy and satisfied with the food, service and ambiance.

Fettuccine al Pesto with Burrata

We tried Giovanni for the first time and it was fabulous! We went for lunch and it was delicious! We got the bruschetta with feta special and that was bomb! For our lunch entrees , we ordered the Linguine con vongole and the fettuccine Al pesto. So amazing! Huge portions and they brought us out some homemade focaccia with an olive oil and balsamic dip. I'm of Mediterranean heritage and I could have drank that olive oil. Great quality! Brandon was our waiter with impeccable customer service! We can't wait to go back!

Ribeye and scallops

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Giovanni, and I have to say, it was an experience worth sharing. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting--dim lighting, tasteful decor, and a vibrant energy that makes you want to settle in and stay a while. What really stood out to me was the service. My server, Noah, was exceptional. Friendly, professional, and genuinely personable--he struck the perfect balance of attentive without being overbearing. It's refreshing to be served by someone who clearly enjoys what they do and brings positive energy to the table. He made great recommendations and checked in just the right amount, making the whole experience feel effortless. Now, let's get to the food. I ordered the special that night--a Ribeye topped with scallops--and it absolutely blew me away. The steak was perfectly cooked to the temperature I requested, with a beautiful sear on the outside and tender, juicy meat inside. The seasoning was spot-on, bringing out the natural flavor of the beef without overpowering it. The scallops were buttery, sweet, and seared to golden perfection. It was a rich, decadent dish that felt like a treat from the first bite to the last. Giovanni isn't just a place to grab a meal--it's a place to enjoy yourself. Between the ambiance, the service, and the high-quality food, I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a great night out. I'll definitely be returning soon.

The staff was quick to seat us and we did have a reservation. The antipasto board was delicious. The escargot I was very disappointed in, there was no seasoning and the scallops I ordered were the same. No seasoning at all, so bland. My husband ordered the gnocchi and it was delicious. Our waitress was very nice. If we go back I won't be coming back here for seafood, pasta only.

"10/10 experience for my first visit. The hostesses were so sweet and seated us right away. Giorgio was our waiter and gave exceptional service -- so kind and attentive. The food came out quickly, piping hot (which I love) and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!"

My husband and I had lunch here and definitely want to come back for more! They serve brunch on weekends from 11-3:00 pm, which is great for those who sleep in. The chicken and risotto were excellent. It was a beautiful day to sit outside, and they have a lovely patio area. Our waitress was attentive but not over-bearing. Would be interested in the dinner time menu on our next go around!

i loved my experience tonight. the service was great, our waiter was so kind. the food was delicious. i ordered the lobster ravioli, my sister ordered the spicy rigatoni, and my wife ordered the fettuccine. safe to say it was all delicious, but personally the lobster ravioli was the star of the show! the ambiance is great, not the most comfortable seating and the country music was bumpin but totally a cool vibe... but maybe not the vibe you would expect eating at a restaurant called "Giovanni" still a pretty great experience

Great true Italian food. Location can be a challenge to park but the walk down to take in the lake & sunset view is worth the walk.

We were roaming around the old courthouse Square downtown and stumbled upon this jewel. The atmosphere is really laid-back cool and their prices are quite fair. We split the bruschetta salad.. it was HUGE!! Very fresh with a wonderful, light dressing. The cheesy bread that comes with this salad is very good. Interestingly, it is served under the salad. For our entrée, we split the meatball lasagna. Again, a huge single portion, so splitting it was perfect. We have many terrific restaurants around us - Grapevine, Colleyville and Southlake. However, this was one of the finest Italian meals we have had anywhere, including Little Italy in Boston. Everything was so flavorful and hearty. The garlic toast served with the lasagna was also excellent. By the way, the old-fashioned with Makers Mark bourbon was superb as well. Based on our first-time experience, there is nothing NOT to like about this establishment. I just wish the portions weren't so generous so that we might have had room for the coconut cream pie. BTW, Hailey is an excellent server.

First and most concerning--there was plastic in one of the dishes. I initially mistook it for a sun-dried tomato and actually tried to eat it. After realizing the texture was off, I unwrapped it and saw it was a whole piece of plastic. That's completely unacceptable and raises major food safety concerns. On top of that, my grandfather ordered the Penne Rosa--actually, we ordered two of them--but one came out as a completely different dish. We still have no idea what it was. It wasn't necessarily bad, but it definitely wasn't what we ordered or paid for. For the amount of money we spent on this order, the quality control and attention to detail just weren't there. Really disappointed, and we won't be returning.

Large pizza with garlic and double mushroom. I also love their small side salads. You pay extra for Campisi's - but it will ruin you for other pizza. The only problem with this location is the parking situation. There's a movie theater practically next door and finding a space is kinda like The Hunger Games. People are always coming and going, so you have to circle around a few times before you can find a spot. During my most recent visit, I called in my order to pick up and when I got there, the gal at the register was struggling with my credit card. They sadly do not have Apple Pay. I hope this changes. I prefer contactless payments for fraud prevention. I have worked retail and I tried to show her how to properly swipe the card. She kept asking for another card, which I did not have. She turned to a colleague who swiped it correctly on the first attempt and she apologized for the trouble and gave me a free drink. When the weather is nice, they have outdoor seating with a covering canopy. Since moving out of Dallas, this is one of the closest Campisi's locations to where I live now, and having been to 5 of their locations, they are consistent with pizza quality throughout the chain. There was a dark period about 16-18 years ago when someone went full moron and decided to save money by switching to American Cheese. I am not kidding you. The pizza went from epic to inedible. I boycotted them for years until I was told by someone in the know that they had switched back to the original recipe. If you ate at a Campisi's during "the dark ages" when they made this switch, give them another chance. Because they're back to the original quality. I've had a lot of pizza in my life - but no one holds a candle to Campisi's. The crust. The sauce. The crispy crust. So many taste highlights and great texture. No other pizza comes close to them. None. Never soggy - AND by far, the best cold pizza I've ever had in my life. I always order more than I can eat. The rest goes in the fridge and I honestly don't even need to heat it up. It's great straight out of the fridge. They cut the pizza into long rectangles and this makes it much more manageable to eat - but they will cut it any way you prefer if you tell them when you order. Life on planet earth can be rough sometimes - but there's always Campisi's to brighten up the day.
