I always love getting a piece of home (Chicago) when I can because Florida living isn't the same. The pizza was great and tasted just like it does in Chicago. The ingredients were fresh. I have no complaints about the food. My only suggestion would be to expand this location because it gets BUSY or expect a long wait time. read more

Food was ok, nothing to different from other pizza places. I didn't however try their specialty deep dish as I felt it looked to much for one person. The staff were friendly and provided decent service. Even though I rated the restaurant as a 3 I would still go back in the future. read more

In town for vball, we're originally from Chicago so was very excited to try. I was not impressed. I had the deep dish cheese and spinach and it just didn't taste good. I didn't eat much of mine. I should have stuck with thin crust but wanted a real taste of home. My daughter didn't seem to enjoy her deep dish pepperoni either. Definitely wouldn't stop here again if in town. read more

The service was ok, the guy was nice. The house salad was very leafy, like huge ass leaves of lettuce and spinach (Popeye would be happy) the ranch dressing was like water (thin). We had the deep dish meat pizza. It was good, I believe the sausage was under cooked, it looked pink. Unfortunately, I got real sick 24 Hours later. My wife did not get sick, she did not eat the sausage. The place was a little dirty and the staff seemed to congregate around the cash register and talk. Oh well, make sure to ask to have to sausage cooked prior to placing in the pizza or get a veggie pie (I can't do it) but you can if you like veggies. read more

While I have to be honest and say that Giordano's in Chicago was better, this place was not as terrible as some of the other reviews say. I am from St. Louis so finding a pizza place to settle my St. Louis and Chicago style pizza cravings is always a challenge, this place does it for Chicago. The pizza was very cheesy and had the correct Chicago layout (sauce on top). The crust wasn't perfect but it wasn't bad either. The flavors were there. If you're craving Chicago style, give them it shot. read more

The service was great and they truly serve Chicago style pizza. I, however, was not impressed by the pizza. The cheese is gooey, but almost artificial.. I'll pass if this is authentic Chicago pizza. Also ordered the mozzarella sticks which were really good and made with authentic cheese. read more

Worst customer service ever. We waited 17 minutes at a table, ignored, before I asked to speak with a manager. The place wasn't busy. Apparently, it was the fault of the hostess. When I asked the hostess to let me speak with a manager she just kept saying sorry. She wouldn't let me speak with a manager. I'm planning to write their corporate office about how this location conducts business. read more

I expected a better experience and service. The food wasn't all that great to say the least. Me and my wife got sick after eating here. The waitress hardly paying any attention to us. I suggest getting here before 6pm or you might have a wait time. We were greeted with a pleasant smile and a happy staff. The kind of place that will put you in a good mood. Didn't wait long for our food and it was hot and very tasty. If you decide to indulge in Orlando theme park city and are hungry for some good pizza. I suggest swinging in to Giordanos. read more

We picked this place because there were good reviews for their Italian beef sandwich. I was craving one badly. I ordered the Italian beef I asked for grilled green peppers and onions which the waitress informed me they didn't have a grill. So I got the green peppers that were soggy and had no flavor. The beef had no flavor and thats what great Italian beef has is great flavor from the pepper and dipping juice and this had none. My husband ordered the spaghetti he asked if it came with bread and she said no but he could order their garlic cheese bread for an additional cost. I have never in all my life heard of a Italian place not serving bread with their pasta. Say the least we will never go there again read more

CHICKEN WINGS WERE COLD AMD SMELLED HORRIBLE like they were sitting for 30-40 min before hand , Pizza taste like cardboard and the cheese was this THICK LAYER of cardboard that was thicker then the actual crust. I'm from Chicago and this is just heartbreaking. Please do better... I spent 40$ for this btw for small cheese and 6 wings never coming back. read more

It wasn't our first place but it was good with kids. Although the pizza takes 45 mins. There is construction on sand lake rd...but there is an entrance to get in. We sat promptly and got our drinks after a bit of wait and not much ppl there. We ordered spaghetti meat sauce, garlic cheese bread and Italian beef with spicy peppers. And a medium pepperoni deep dish. The spaghetti was good and garlic cheese bread comes with red sauce. My Italian beef and pizza came together. The beef and bread was perfect for dipping in as jus sauce. The the peppers were good too and spicy. Sometimes the peppers could be a little different but these were the good ones. read more

Beautiful restaurant, very clean and inviting. You can tell the staff takes pride in this place. We brought our service dog Cali and she was welcomed like family. We had the cheesy garlic bread, spaghetti with meatballs and a Chicago style deep dish all the meats pizza. It was all delicious and the server Melvin was amazing. So attentive and on top of everything. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Orlando. read more

Great CHICAGO pizza!! Whether you want deep dish or thin crust Giordano's does both extremely well. Not only do they have great pizza but also offer sandwiches, salads, pasta, etc. I have been eating there since the 80's in the Windy City and am happy to report that the Orlando locations do it just like they do in Chi Town!!! read more

I've had the original Giordano's pizza in several locations in Chicago and the one in Las Vegas and this one here in Orlando is the only one that tasted different it wasn't the same it was too salty and the sauce tasted different. Maybe I came to the wrong location in Orlando. read more

OMG if you are visiting from out of town--just keep driving past this place because this is the absolute blandest food ever. Avoid at all costs. High school cafeteria pizza tastes better--hospital food taste better. Sandwiches and pasta are just as awful. Do not waste your time. Maybe this place was good in the '70s?!? For Chicago style deep dish pizza it is good. I got half pepperoni n green pepper and other half sausage and onions. They pile in the toppings. It takes 45 minutes to bake so we ordered for dine in in advance so it was ready pretty much right as we arrived to be seated. I advise you do the same. Soda carbonation was lacking but they also sold bottles of soda and carry my favorite which is orange crush. So if your looking for deep dish, until I find something better this is as good as uno if not a tad bit better. read more

Giordano's is a MUST every time I visit Orlando. Who doesn't love BOATLOADS of cheese on their pizza?! I always order a deep dish pizza (don't be in a hurry, it takes about 45 min to make after you order). Adding meat in the pizza is always a good idea. Meatballs are my fave! The mozzarella triangles are super fresh and not your average mozzarella stick--love them! The entire trio appetizer platter is really good with all the options it comes with. The service here is always flawless every time I go. I am so glad my boyfriend brought me here once, because I have been head over heels with this pizza ever since. (If you think Uno's is good, try Giordano's...it's even better). My boyfriend and I are stuffed with a size small deep dish. Small for two is definitely enough! read more

I believe we've been to this location twice plus I did a pickup there once. The menu was a little different from the other locations I have been to. The pizza was excellent as would be expected. We usually get the deep dish as it is their specialty. Having eaten at Giordano's locations since I was a kid growing up in Chicago I understand that it takes a good 45 minutes for a pizza to cook. For us it is well worth the wait. If you plan in advance you can place an order online for dine in. The service here was friendly and everything was properly prepared. A Chicago favorite. read more

I was so excited to see Giordano's pizza while in Orlando. I coulded wait to get there and have some of the best pizza known to man. I grew up in Chicago most of my life and I've been eating stuffed pizza since I was 15-now 62. So I know Chicago Pizza. My favorite place to eat deep dish is at Gino's East Superior and Michigan. The restaurant was just like the ones in Chicago and suburbs of Chicago. Loud with conversation an laughter. Tv was turned to the Stanley Cup game 7. What a exciting night. The beer was cold and service was great. What wasn't so great was the pizza. What the heck happened to the meat. We ordered a medium 1/2 sausage & pepperoni and the other half just sausage. The pizza takes time to cook which is not a problem. Gives us more time to talk. Pizza comes out and I can't wait to cut into my first true Chicago deep dish. Well I thought they gave me the wrong pizza. NO MEAT... I lifted the cheese the best I could and I found one piece that looked the a small smashed meatball. Maybe the size of a 1.00 coin. The other 2 people in our party had the sausage and pepperoni. Same thing, 1 to 3 pieces of sausage and a 4 1/2 slices of pepperoni. That pizza was 28.00 and little to no meat. I was going to go to UNO's but our friend said Giordano's was better than UNO's. Sorry but if I return to the Orlando area it will be UNO's for sure. read more

The pretzel was good but it could have been a little warmer as the center was still on the cool side. Next time I would also ask for an extra side of dipping cheese as the portion we got was not enough to handle the massive pretzel. The tap selection was great as well. Certainly someplace I am going to want to go back to!

My friends really enjoyed their white sangria, leaving them a bit giddy. Apparently not skimping on the alcohol with those. As for our pizza, it was satisfactory yet not very memorable for me. Certainly not bad, but I know there's better pizza out there in Orlando. I'd love to come back to try one of their entrées. Some of those look delicious. Overall it's a nice place to stop, especially if you're in the area for an event.

I appreciated it because I wasn't sure if I needed to go inside to let somebody know I sat down. Our server was super friendly and even offered a water bowl for my dog. The meatballs were so great. I even forgot to take a picture. The outdoor patio at the time was very quiet and conveniently shaded because of the time of the day. Although I can't say that the chairs were the most comfortable for a pregnant woman, I did really enjoy my time outside with my dog. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the food and would 100% come back. Next time I want to try to dine inside too.
