Chicago, deep dish sausage and mushroom
Todd K.

Not bad. I prefer New York style or tavern style to Chicago deep dish, but this got the job done. A little underdone is probably my only complaint.

Mama's Meatball Sub and side house salad. Both are great!

Good food and usually easy to set a seat for one at the bar. Lemon vinaigrette on the house salad is refreshing.

Came here for a later dinner recently to enjoy some Chicago deep dish. I honestly had no idea there was anywhere in Indy to get it! Our service was appropriately paced for the time it takes to make a Chicago deep dish pizza. I liked the TVs they had in the center of our dining area, which had some pre-season football coverage. The booths have taller partitions so it feels more intimate. I also liked the marquee saying "EAT PIZZA". I will certainly follow instructions there! The pizza we got was "The Special": sausage, green pepper, onion, and mushroom. I thought the pizza was fine, my only thing about Chicago style is that the vegetables can't caramelize like they would on a regular pizza. But that's just a personal opinion. I am pleased with the range of mocktail offerings, which are all $7.

The staff were really friendly from start to finish. We got the family sized Caesar salad to share and 2 medium pizzas for a party of 5. The food was all great and more than enough for our group. Great location to eat in downtown Indy.

Pizza and cheese garlic bread was on point. Our salad was not great at all. You'd expect a fresh cold Cesar salad but it tasted warm and soggy. No crunch on the salad at all. Our server was very good! She was attentive to our party.

This place is my group's go-to place on Day 0 for PRI and it's honestly the BEST pizza ever. I'm from California and ever since I got my hands on a slice of Giordano's signature famous deep dish pizza, it was over. No pizza place from my home state can't compare so Giordano's is always something to look forward to during our 4 day visit. Meat and more meat! This was our table's pizza that was split between 4 people. Honestly can't complain, I love all of their pizza but since we only visit once a year, we always order deep dish style. Never fails and always leaves us full! Carnivore? Then you should definitely order this dish! Make sure it's the biggest one too! Calabrian Chili Honey Chicken Wings Ok so I can't be entirely biased with Giordano's. We wanted to try this out since it was a limited chicken wing flavor and honestly it wasn't the best. I mean it's a pizza joint? They specialize in pizza but we were so hungry that we figured to try it out. Hey, if you love chicken wings or just an enthusiast for wings in general, by all means give this one a shot if it's still available! Overall Always excited to come to Indiana cause I KNOW I'll be eating some damn good pizza. Deep dish style isn't for everyone which is nice that they have their Tavern Style and Thin Crust Pizzas. But since Giordano's specializes in deep dish pizza, it's highly recommended to order deep dish style! can't wait to visit again next year and see what new pizza they'll have! And can't forget about the awesome servers doing their best on those busy convention nights! Y'all the real MVP's! Ambiance is warm and inviting with a bit of high noise since it's also got a bar but it never phases me, if anything it's relaxing since I know I'll be indulging into pizza goodness. Just remember to come hungry and you'll guaranteed to leave happy! See you next year Giordano's!

Went here for dinner. This place is cool. They have tvs so you can watch sports. They have plenty of seating. Our waitress was great. She got our drinks and put our pizza order in quickly. The pizza was delicious. We had fabulous pizza and service!

My 5 Takeaways (in under 60 seconds) Location: Prime location in downtown Indy near stores and things to do. Street parking and nearby parking garages are available. Vibe: Family-friendly, relaxed, and comfortable atmosphere. The décor and layout are really nice. Service: Overall, the customer service isn't the best but isn't the worst. It could use some improvements, but nothing major. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and warm. Food: Really good deep-dish pizza! BIG portions, standout flavors, and superior ingredients. I recommend the Double Pepperoni - you won't be disappointed! Quick Tip: Don't sleep on their sides! The Greek Salad and Calabrian Chili Honey Wings are both top tier!

We have not been to an authentic Chicago style pizzeria. We found Giordano's. We sat in the bar area with a view of the kitchen. Having worked at a pizza restaurant before I was blown away by the three people making the pizzas and the cleanliness of the entire kitchen. Totally organized. The pizza was very good. Will definetly have one again.

Build your own sausage, onion, mushroom, extra cheese

We aren't crazy about the deep dish they are known for. We ordered the thin crust which was not super thin kind of a cross with hand tossed - perfect. The servers are very attentive. We would go back!

Individual deep dish with mushroom, garlic, pepperoni. Delivered, and unfortunately not super warm.

I LOVE Giordano's - it's my favorite Chicago-style pizza - and I'm in town for work this week. My husband told me there's a location 1/4 of a mile from my hotel, so I decided to get delivery tonight. They are not on Doordash - they have their own system, and there is a $1 delivery fee, $3 driver fee, and then tip on top of that. I ordered bruschetta for an appetizer and an individual pizza with garlic, mushroom, and pepperoni. It said on their website it would take about 50 minutes to an hour, so I made sure to order it as I was leaving a work event. 60 minutes came and went, then 70, so I called the restaurant to check on the order. It turned out the driver had left my meal with the front desk. (This was partially my fault - it turns out cell reception isn't great in my room at this hotel, it turned out the driver DID text me, saying "downstairs with your order," but I didn't receive it until 8:25pm ... I ordered around 6:50pm and the order was supposed to be ready 7:50-8:00pm) Because of this, I didn't get my food until 8:10-8:20 or so, and unfortunately the pizza was barely warm. My hotel thankfully has a microwave so I microwaved it a little bit, but even before that, the crust was kinda soggy, as was the bruschetta - even though I appreciate them putting the tomatoes on the side, so that the whole thing wasn't soggy. All of this with tip was about $36 btw, and if I didn't have a work expense account I'd be even more disappointed than I currently am. Oddly enough, the bruschetta was better than the pizza, maybe because the tomatoes were put on the side. The pizza was still tasty but the cheese and the crust was lukewarm at best.

The best pizza in Indiana hands down. There is no pizza like New York pizza. Giordano's makes me feel at home!!

Small thin
Tom S.

Ordered via Uber Eats. I ordered a small thin that was way under cooked. Total was $49 with a taxes and fees. Took two bites and went straight into the garbage! Terrribke.

Ryton was amazing. Her big bright smile was just what we four needed this morning as none of us slept well in the hotel. We did make a reservation but this morning was not necessary as there were plenty of tables. Let's start with the coffee - FANTASTIC. The coffee was on point. God bless. The menu is short but stacked. You can create your own omelette or order two eggs any style or be like my boss and order the Butter Pecan French Toast. My other boss ordered the Farmhouse croissant. Every dish was very eye appealing and believe it or not- there were ZERO COMPLAINTS. As I remarked to Ryton, having delicious coffee, great food, and zero compliants is a miracle and how we were blessed today. If you are in the area, don't overlook the Ten Hands and if you see Ryton and her beautiful smile, make sure to say hello!

Honestly, the food was delish. The Brussels sprouts were AMAZING! Smoked wings were good too. We absolutely loved the pizza. The truffle fries were okay. They were out of the garlic aioli that comes with the fries, and I think that would have given them the kick they were missing. The ambiance is cool with the fire pit right at the entrance. Many TVs at the bar, so it's a great spot to catch a game. I also liked the layout of the room - particularly the booths, in relation to where the TVs are. Honestly much better food and ambiance than at one of the other nearby hotel restaurants we tried.

The space itself is bright, industrial, and relaxed, with large garage doors that let plenty of light in and communal tables that make it easy to settle in. Our pizza came out surprisingly fast, especially considering everything is made fresh. We ordered pepperoni, sausage, and red onion, and they absolutely loaded it with toppings. Crispy, blistered crust, gooey cheese, and enough pepperoni to make me stop counting after about bite three. It was honestly love at first bite. One tip: don't skip the restroom before you leave. I won't spoil it, but whoever decorated those walls and that door clearly had some fun. King Dough nails that balance between casual neighborhood pizza joint and destination-worthy meal. And the ordering time was fairly accurate as to what the app said, which is a vast improvement over my previous ordering experience. The GF selections are really good at Futuro, among the best I have seen at various pizza places. I went with a Detroit style, veggie version, which was good. The crust was a bit undercooked but given the challenges with GF crust, it was decent. (I've had much worse.) My wife got the GF thin crust and enjoyed it. She topped it off with ingredients we had at home. One suggestion would be to add tomatoes as a topping option but that may be a seasonal thing as to why it was not the list. Overall, a much better experience this time.
