We went in a couple a nights ago to "Work World" in Pittsburg hoping to find some composite toe…read moreboots about 20min before closing. It was about 5 people talking away at the register amongst themselves, nobody even looked up at us as we walked through. No hello, we're closing soon can we help you find anything, nothing! So as we approached the back where the shoe section is I see 2 guys talking. A young lady came out the back and I asked her if they had a specific shoe which they hadn't. Then I asked her if their shoes had a lifetime return like I just read online. You would have thought I went from English to a foreign language. Her reply was Oh, I don't know nothing about that. I said hmmmm, either Google has false advertising or you're out the loop. I pulled up Google search, and showed her. She walks up to the guys that were talking and asks 1 of them. He then explains the 60 day return policy of unworn shoes. I told him how I just saw on Google while searching composite shoes right under it read Work World lifetime returns. He said, Oh I think that's really old. At that point, I was outdone and wanted no parts of a store that lacks customer service, product knowledge or just plain good/common sense. They have entirely too many employees standing like mannequins that know absolutely nothing, and talk amongst themselves too much and not to customers. I added a photo I just Google of the boot, and below you can see clear as day see "Lifetime Returns" which appears to be FALSE ADVERTISING!!

See attached promo. I arrived at this location at 8:45 AM. I noticed there were some construction happening. The guy at the door said that they don't open until 9:30 AM. I told him I was here for the VIP 8:30 AM event. He had no idea. He had to bring the manager to talk to me. She apologized and said that they're renovating and closed. Poor management for having construction during a VIP event. I was really upset because I got up early to shop to beat the hot weather. I noticed a few other customers showed up as well. The store didn't have any sign saying that they're doing construction during their VIP event. Shame on management. They need to read their emails from their corporate office.

I do but obviously how was I supposed to know I needed to bring some type of birth certificate or paperwork? There should always be a proper and respectful way to approach people, but this lady was the complete opposite. I was discriminated. I'm not really upset for not getting the Job but I'm hoping my experience will reach those who face discrimination and harassment and management reads this so they teach themselves to behave. All I remember is she had an accent.
