L9. Steak Teriyaki Lunch
Tyler W.

Ginza is good in a pinch, but nothing to write home about. A little more expensive for the quality, but still decent overall food. Nice to have a sushi restaurant in Champlin.

Salmon Nigiri

Low sushi quality, dirty tables near you don't get cleaned up. $120 for some sushi rolls and nigiri. Not worth it for the quality of food and service.

E9. Snow Mountain Roll

My husband and I went here when another sushi place was closed and we were NOT disappointed! At first, I thought everything was a little pricey, but after we ate our first bites I stopped complaining. I ordered the Snow Mountain Roll, which was super tasty! My husband ordered the #34 House Special (fried rice, steak, chicken, and egg) that came with a side of yum yum sauce. It was so freaking good, we ordered another just to take home. I highly recommend this place! The workers were so nice and the food was quick and hot. We will definitely be coming again.

Miso soup

Food was really good and came out at a reasonable timeframe. I got the ha a hi scallops and they were sooo yummy. I also got the crab ragoons. One of my favorite items anywhere they have them. These were perfection!!! I'm a tea snob and their hot tea was just amazing especially on a chilly day. I ordered spicy tuna roll, which had the crunchies in their version. Loved that layer! Then... Because my mama didn't raise a quitter... I went for it. I got the fried green tea ice cream. It was massive. Suggest to share it and not be a chunk like me and conquer it. Definitely a must order.

E24. Double Touch Roll and R12. Salmon Avocado Roll

We had the best lunch here! We got gyoza, avocado salad, double touch roll, yoshi roll, and salmon avocado roll. Everything was so delicious!! And the service was AMAZING, we've never had a nicer waitress. We felt right at home, the fish was so fresh and it was plated beautifully. We can't wait to come back!

My daughter and I on date night!

Friendly, great service but quality and portion size has gone down. This used to be our favorite place for lunch.

Served old sushi. Rolls were not fresh. Yellowtail was definitely bad and very fishy and could not eat. Very disappointing.

The food is always fresh, flavorful, and comes out in a timely fashion.I always order the eel and avocado roll, which is consistently good. This time, I tried a few new things-the shrimp tempura, crunch roll, scorpion roll, hibachi fried rice, and miso soup-and everything was delicious! The rolls were fresh and well-made, the fried rice had great flavor, and the miso soup was a perfect start to the meal. The martinis here are also a nice surprise-pretty good and very reasonably priced. I tried their version of an espresso martini, the mocha martini, and for only $7.50, it was a great deal!Overall, Osaka is a solid choice for sushi, hibachi, and drinks. Great food, family friendly ambiance, good prices, and fast service.

Got the shrimp hibachi and it was loaded with shrimp and nummy vegetables. Don't be shy about asking for extra yum yum sauce, it is so good! I would have tipped 20% if the service was good (which it was) but don't like that they automatically added a 20% tip. I have only ever seen that when there is a large group, there were only 2 of us.

The restaurant is spacious, with several TVs but was pretty quiet for a relaxing dinner. We went for the all you can eat option and were handed a (clean) menu. Once ordered, the food came pretty quickly and there were plenty of employees to get additional food orders. The quality of the fish tasted pretty good and there were several normal flavors but also some specialties so we were able to try quite a bit and get filled up. Total price was $73.78 for two before tip. I would definitely come back here again.

Sashimi is very small, bite sized so order about if you're going to order it. Rainbow roll was regular size and very tasty. Had pink lady roll, was just ok, didn't care for the texture Strawberry ice cream for dessert was good Service was good, came by often and food came out quick. Only issue was beer. When we sat I ordered a beer and they carried me. Ok, I'm old but whatever I can get behind being safe, sure whatever. Beer never came, I inquired about it after first round of food and was asked for my ID, I said I showed it to the other girl who took my order originally. She went over, they spoke, and she came back and said she needed to see it? I can understand being safe if your not sure but I'm old, this was over the top

We got there at 5 o'clock on a Saturday night and it was full! We were greeted right away and were told it would be a five minute wait. Three more groups people came in after us within that five minutes! We were walked through the main dining room and brought to our table in a little side room with seating for only two groups. It was lively and busy in the main dining room, but very quiet in the side room. I would have loved to be seated in the main room where there was music and a little more life, but we were happy to get a table. My son had the Niku Soba Ramen, my husband had the Terriyaki Ton Ramen, and I had the Char Siu Donburi. All were fantastic, flavors were rich, and the portions were large. I took a third home for leftovers, and my son took half home for leftovers to share with his sister the next day. Even as leftovers, the food was delicious! We highly recommend and we'll definitely return.

But I had a birthday voucher and a gift card, so we thought, why not give it another try. And wow. I feel like I have been missing out. The experience was so much fun. Our chef was fantastic and made the whole night feel special. It honestly felt like the perfect way to celebrate turning 38. And yes, at one point I was jokingly called out as "toxic", and to be clear, that was directed at me. All in fun! We ordered the steak/shrimp combo, which came with a shrimp appetizer and white rice. Of course we upgraded to fried rice, which feels like a must. Everything was really good and the chef did not cut corners at all, which we appreciated. My only callout is the cost. Even with the coupon and a $25 gift card, we still show how spent over $110 for two meals and one drink. I was honestly shocked. Compared to other places, it is definitely more expensive. Gratuity is automatically added. That said, the service truly was fantastic, so in this case it felt deserved. Even with the higher price, I would still go back. The quality of the experience made it worth it. One tip, especially in Maple Grove, make a reservation. We went on a Thursday night and it was busy.

It seems they've doubled the price of meals and aren't offering anything additional. In fact, they removed a lot of options from the menu and no longer provide the hibachi fried rice into your price. It's $8 extra to add fried rice!! Something that used to be included. That is criminal. The food quality also has gone down. The food was drastically under seasoned. Even my 8 year old niece said her corn needed salt. Honestly I will never go back to Benihana. It's a scam. There are way too many local hibachi places that are much better tasting and prices are more reasonable. The atmosphere was loud, which was to be expected.
