First, I love a good crust, not too thin, but not too thick ( unless it's Sicilian) with the perfect amount of saltiness. Next, I like ricotta and meatballs to be available as toppings, but I also enjoy when there are good gourmet pizza options available. Finally, I like it to be delivered hot and within a reasonable amount of time. If you feel the same way I do, you should try Gino's. Despite ordering from many other spots in town and surrounding areas, we always come back to Gino's. Last night we ordered the chicken bacon ranch pizza. Everything about it was perfect. We have ordered here roughly once or twice a week since moving to glassboro 2 years ago. Food is good but delivery is absolutely horrible and I don't think they care. I called a month or so ago to finally complain about how their pizza arrived. And yet again today is the same. When I call to speak to a manger I can hear the person in back say they are not a manager but take the call anyway. I told him this happens all the time and I get a "next time you call we'll take care of you ". This isn't solving the problem of a pizza arriving as if it's been in a horrible car accident. Pizza places are a dime a dozen and we will be spending our money with one of the others from now on. Not sure how a place can be proud of delivering this all the time to customers. I wish there were open later but 10pm is it. What is nice is that they can make you any sandwich you want. They had all my old varieties: chicken romano, cheesesteak, bruschetta, etc. I selected a slice of white with spinach and tomatoes and a piece of the bruschetta Sicilian. After five minutes in the oven, the pizza was ready to go and I got to it. Disappointing. Both pies were beyond dry and nearly flavorless. I ate out of hunger, but not with gusto. I had the unlucky experience of ordering a cheese pizza that was delivered to my home. Service was quick, but when the pizza came the cheese had fallen to one side of the pizza. I immediately called and spoke to a gentleman about the issue. He apologized for the issue and blamed it on the driver, saying there was nothing he could do about it. He was unwilling to send a new pizza out and assured me that next time I called I would receive a free pizza. Needless the say the pizza was awful since it had fallen apart. A week later when I called to see if they could make right ok their promise, I was lucky enough to get the same gentleman on the phone. Their pizza is good but everything else we have tried is not (that is limited to sides and wraps). We have been ordering pizza from them for about a year but today is the last time ever. We are 3 miles from the store in a nice, well-kept development. When our order arrived I answered the door with a big smile and was ready to thank the driver and wish him a great weekend. Unfortunately, with no attempt at being polite or apologetic, the older gentleman said with a frown "it's too far, it's not worth the drive." No pleasantries, no smile, and no attempt to be a nice person. It was downright rude. It's your business to run and if you have a specific delivery radius or area, that's absolutely fine. However, their website does not list that information, they are available through the Slice app and in the past year they've never tried to tell us it's an issue. If you work through a 3rd party to process your orders, you should work with them to correct any problems rather than being rude to a customer even if their business "isn't worth it." read more

When first walking in no one in the store greeted me. I was particularly confused because I am used to most pizza store owner always shouting across the store welcoming me inside. The owner seemed frustrated for some reason. I ordered a simple slice of cheese, paid, and then sat to wait for my slice. After 15 minutes I made contact with the employees and they asked me confused "have you gotten your slice yet" . At this point I was annoyed because I just ordered a slice. They apparently lost the slice of pizza , and no one knew where it went. It's very confusing because I saw them put the slice in. I've been a returning customer here for over 20 years. This is by far the best full service pizza restaurants in southern Jersey. I can honestly say that I've had only one slightly below par pizza here in the over two decades. The food is outstanding and fresh every time. Everything about their pizzas hit the right note...the fresh ingredients and the sauce (gravy) is probably the best I've had from any restaurant. Their entire menu is superb from the salads, hoagies, and paninis you can't go wrong. I tend to take notice about how clean restaurants are and this one is always on top. I've known a couple of former workers from here and they tell me how extensively the food prep areas are taken apart and sanitized nightly. The staff is friendly and the owners are as well. I have ordered from Gino's for about 15 years. They have always had great pizza which is why I have ordered for from there religiously. I have always used their free pizza cards. After ordering 10 large cheese pizzas you get a free medium cheese pizza. Sure, other pizzeria's give you a free large after "x" amount of orders and sure other pizzerias take into account how much you spend on their toppings. Gino's does not, but heck, they have good pizza and I've ordered for years. Well tonight my pizza showed up at my door and because I didn't specifically express that I had coupons, I was denied all 13 dollars of medium cheese pizza. I guess that more than 200$ worth of previous orders to obtain coupons wasn't worth the price of a 13$ pizza because I didn't express I was using those coupons on the phone. Ridiculous. You are a pizzeria. People order from you because of your customer loyalty. You have lost a 15 year customer over 13$. I get better customer service from a conveyor belt pizza place like dominoes.
