Came here for some food after spending all day at the beach. Staff was friendly and attentive but food wasn't that good. Ordered a fried calamari , chicken parmigiana and a Buffalo chicken pizza. The pizza came out super late. Basically was ready to leave by the time it came out and was already full from other food. Waiter kept saying it would be out soon but I think they had just thrown it in. Also noticed a waiter eating food while standing in the kitchen. Won't be back. read more

The service was great. It's order at the counter and then they call you when it's ready. No table service. But they actually ended up coming over to ask how everything was and brought me to go containers because I couldn't finish everything. And they brought my niece some ice cream. It was really sweet. My wife and I felt compelled to give a review to this place because we came here while on the beach across the street and the convenience of it, despite the negative reviews. The other reason was they really explained the ingredients on the menu well and it seemed like someone cared. We were very pleasantly surprised, and this is definitely a 5 star for this misquamicut beach area and we like everything we got. The Rhode Island chowder was as good as it gets, the jerk wings were very good and the fries were that average frozen fries. The service was very good (Carmen was our waitress and she was very pleasant and attentive) and you can tell they care and we were told the staff was replaced from last year due to lack of caring, which might explain the previous negative reviews. If you are in this area we would definitely give this place a try. read more

We walked past this place, and stopped by out of convenience for lunch. Waitress was new. ( we think) Lemonade never arrived to the table. Was even mentioned a second time to the waiter who delivered the food. The lobster rolls looked great and had a decent stop lobster-but they added weird seasonings to it. Sunday at the beach was begun with an unfortunate experience of wrong orders, less than horrid service and a bill that came quicker than anything that came to the table. Our hostess was extremely nice, sat us on their outdoor patio and even returned to us after sitting us with water which was pleasant. We were greeted by a waitress after 15 minutes whom proceeded to ask us "has anyone been over to you guys?" when she was told no, she responded "I'm sorry, I'll find someone, I'm done"...As patient as could be we waited. A very pleasant waitress took our order after an additional 10 minutes only after my fiancee went inside to ask for service from the very nice hostess. Our drinks were brought out, forgetting the water...They served me the wrong Bloody Mary, which the correct one came half way thru the first one, unasked for. Very nice presentation, I'll say. Our food order came out with the wrong eggs on both of our plates, thus came the water. All while this is going on, another table whom waited longer than us, was fed up and spoke up about not being attended to. another table of 4 who waited about 15 minutes got up and left. The steak and eggs were basic but good despite wanting over easy eggs and getting scrambled...We did ask for the over easy eggs and cheese for my fiancée's eggs which weren't brought out at all. The bill was inadvertently brought over without us asking, felt implied to pay and leave. When we received the bill it was at full price, including the wrong Bloody Mary and the right Bloody Mary which was listed at 15 and we were charged 26 for it. Now, we are both small business owners and are more than patient especially post covid with employee deficits but after the service, the food, the drinks and the bill being $86...we unfortunately have to leave this review. We've been here every time we come to Misquamicut and this experience will have us looking elsewhere for breakfast. Sorry management but we too are in the restaurant business and this experience was just not worth staying shut about. Important bit of information: their breakfast is TEN TIMES better than their dinner. I had the salmon Benedict and a chocolate milk and it was so good I was a hair away from ordering ANOTHER. My friend claims it was the best muffin she has had in her life. Another time I went for breakfast with the same outstanding results. So while service is a little slow for such an empty breakfast spot - it's worth it. Dinner on the other hand was a bit of a mess. The singer they had on the patio was more annoying and anxiety inducing than anything, interrupting what was a decent plate of pasta. My father claims that the dinner he had made him sick, though my food was pretty good. Really cool deck with music on weekend! Great pizza, huge pie like in NYC. Great pricing on all of the menu too. Staff was so friendly, dancing around, funny, everyone eating enjoying themselves right across from the beach. Went for dinner with friends and we all had great meals. Two ladies sing different nights and the music keeps dinner fun. Then went back for breakfast on a Sunday morning, they serve later than most. Amazing! Well... sometimes have restaurants have off days. Some regulars next to us seemed to really enjoy their food however we were a bit sad . The pizza was good and hot while the filet and jambalaya were both Luke warm. We ordered the filet medium it came out well done instead of medium. They remade it however I'm pretty sure it was not filet . One of the few places open on Atlantic Avenue to eat 2 days after the Labor Day holiday. Outdoor seating is available. There was a good variety on the menu to choose from. Appreciated the fresh butter in a cup (not having to unwrap those little foiled pats) for my toast and the mimosa was great. This brand new restaurant just opened up today in Westerly and is by far one of the best restaurants my hubby and I have eaten in. The menu is diverse, the staff is remarkably friendly and professional, and the food itself was out of this world. The owner visited us at our table multiple times and what a delight he is!! I wish I could give this "zero" stars. I understand an off day but this was ridiculous. Day one...hesitant to go in because the last time, last year we waited 45 minutes, didn't get waited on so we left, this year we go in for breakfast, it was okay, but again we wait a good half hour to give our order. There were maybe 4 tables with people in the whole place. Day two..we go in for dinner, hamburgers were good, but upon arrival we are told it would be at least 40 minutes for us to get served as they are swamped...there were people in 2 booths and two tables of two. We wait at least the 40 minutes for them to take our order and at least another 40 to get our meal. Day 3...We go for lunch..salads, how long can they take?? 1 hour. We order 2 salads and a shrimp cocktail..after about 35 minutes the waiter, who couldn't have been nicer, brings us 4 of the 6 shrimp we ordered. He said the other 2 will be out shortly. They come about 15 minutes later and are covered in butter and some green seasoning, maybe parsley. They are hot!!! We have to drop them into our water to cool them off..we ordered shrimp cocktail, not scampi. Finally at the 1 hour mark we get 2 unacceptable salads..half of the things listed in the salad were not present. In the time we sat and waited we watched the hostess turn away 15 customers because they were too busy. They were all told to come back in 35 minutes. The place was practically empty and many of them remarked on it. Our fault for going in but there is limited places to go on the beach. We were staying right across the street. Believe me never again...do yourself a favor and walk to the Andrea or Pleasantview. I don't know how this place stays in business. Terrible service and terrible breakfast food. We waited forever to even be acknowledged and when we finally did the server was very bland and not nice said maybe two words to us. Food took forever to come out and when it did it was horrible. Eggs were gross, bacon was barely cooked, waffle was hollow was just a crisp shell basically and the syrup was very bitter. Westerly rolls up the sidewalks during the week in the off season so it's not easy to find a place to eat near the beach. We were told Gino's was open so we walked there from our hotel.
