What I call this is a genuine restaurant, as while it's not fancy, that's what adds to its charm level. Will absolutely be back. The pork barbecue with two sides, is what I'll recommend. You get high quality pulled pork, and macaroni and cheese is wicked delicious. The fries are alright. These portions are quite large. You'll be pleased by this restaurant, and they have an extensive dessert menu. If you're in the area, this is a smart choice!

My kids were really hungry and I was craving a Philly cheesesteak. I decided to give it another go. The people were very polite and helpful as usual, the service is always nice. Always good people there. My son got a chicken sandwich which was tasty. I was told my wait would be 15 to 20 minutes. It was in reality about 40 minutes. I got a ribeye sandwich to go. When I got home literally like 90% of that sandwich was fat I actually had a hard time eating it. I was a little disappointed, but it happens. The fries were hot and crispy. The coleslaw was delicious. I do recommend going and giving them a try. Their barbecue is always a big hit!

Serving American classics with high quality and great hospitality…read more Sandwiched between two floors of antique malls, Jack's was the perfect stop in the day to get some no-frills nourishment. Their breakfast is incredibly generous and made with ingredients that were fresh, clean, and meticulous in detail. The design of their menu is just so promising with unique twists that are not unheard of, but just an elevated touch when it comes to American diner food as a whole. Things like truffle infused hollandaise, fried green tomato BLT, pairing balsamic with goat cheese, a blackened pork, even mushrooms on the breakfast menu all hint that people developing their menu are confident in their skills in offering something more when it comes to breakfast plates and sandwiches. Their homemade aiolis (highly recommend their pesto aioli) and hot sauce tie any dish together-- breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Things made to this quality are not to be unremarked. Came in with friends so we can try everything on their menu, and we were pleasantly surprised on all fronts. Presentation, ingredients, preparation all elements that made our meals great and were evident across all dishes ranging from protein to carb. Details like toasted bread with already spread with butter, perfectly poached eggs, and brioche as the bun of choice were things we peeped. We would have left satisfied if these details weren't accounted for, but we were so impressed this became a revisit during our short vacation. Their space is greatly spacious, with an open drinks station so its just not pretentious. There is even a section in the front to pick up goods made by local artisans. This is a great place to dine in, no notes.

The busy manager said they take 10 minutes After 20 minutes my husband came in to find me -the roll appeared soon after. I'm a quiet type person , I took the roll and left . It was very good. They have a drive-thru, but I went inside to use the internet and sit at a table while I ate my bacon and egg biscuit. I parked in front of the convenience store door and walked in. My first thought was that I had been here before, but no. This floor plan for combining the restaurant and gas station is just a cookie cutter design I've seen elsewhere. The drink station is just inside the convenience store area. The shared bathrooms are in the gas station side of the house. My food was hot. It tasted good. I was looking for some salt and pepper and did not see it. One of the counter people helped me out and handed it to me. It had been sitting right under my nose. They were not busy that morning. There was only one register open and one cashier working. The cashier was attending to the dining room when I walked in, so I had to wait just a little bit for her to get back behind the register. The bathroom did not look as nice as I've come to expect from McDonald's, but was in line with what you might expect for a small gas station. The door had duct tape on it. There was crud on the bathroom stall door that needed to be scrubbed off. There were small holes in the walls. The coat hook on the bathroom stall door was broken. The paper towels at the sink were not in the holder, but just sitting on the counter. The toilet paper was about out, but enough for a few more people - was a three roll container - two rolls were empty and the third was well on it's way. I had to flush the toilet five times to get it to carry away the waste. Bad design maybe?

Unfortunately, the manager said there was nothing they could do. Because of that, I had to go back through the drive-thru and place another order for the same 2 meals. By this point, I had already been at McDonald's for about 20-25 minutes dealing with the line and the situation. When I received my food, the employee at the window checked everything in it. I admit I should have checked it myself right away while i was at the window , but I didn't notice the issues until I parked. The order was incorrect, I received a small fry instead of a medium fry, and one entire burger was missing. I then went inside the McDonald's to have the order corrected, but as I walked in, the manager was already closing the inside gate while other customers ahead of me were asking if the lobby was closed. It was only around 7:40 PM at the time. The manager said Mcdonald's was closing early at 8 for everything. Overall, the experience was frustrating because of the long wait, having to repurchase my meals due to the app mistake, and then still receiving an incomplete order. I understand mistakes happen, but I was disappointed with how the situation was handled.
