He is attentive, generous, and ensures everyone's needs are met above expectation. He has a sense of humor as well that makes you forget he's the owner and want him to join you for dinner. Now the food... absolutely delicious! The mashed potatoes, butter chicken, curry, limoncello cake, spanish coffee, etc etc etc! Enjoyable experience. Came on a Wed night (day before Thanksgiving) around 6PM and were easily seated. They clearly spend a lot of effort/resources creating an inviting and upscale environment. "A" for effort there. They had a pretty extensive drink menu and had a local IPA which is good in my book. We started with the Bruschetta ($12) and my bride really like it. She ordered the Salmon Salad ($19) and really enjoyed it. I went with the Shrimp Salad ($18) and I was really pleased with the fresh ingredients. Service was prompt and friendly. My partner and I went to Fiorano's to celebrate our anniversary, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The ambience was warm, romantic, and inviting--just the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and enjoy the moment. The food was absolutely delicious! I came here on a Sunday around 745pm. I ordered a glass or noir and the ribeye. The service was slow. The manager (or maybe owner) was attending me. I had empty glasses for 30 minutes before being seen. The ribeye came with a salad, broccolini, and mashed potatoes. Nothing was seasoned. Not even salt was used. Bland is an understatement. While the decor and music make for an enjoying ambience, I won't be coming back for the food or service. read more

We have been here several times and while I thought it was great week one, it has only gotten better. Tonight we ordered fried zucchini and mozzarella sticks as appetizers and while they are delicious, they are pizza roll hot...melt your face off...huffing air through your teeth hot. For the main course, I ordered the ribeye and my wife ordered the butter chicken. Even the little side salad was delicious. The balsamic glaze was a great touch. The only negative is that I do not see any local wine on the menu. With Barboursville and Horton vineyards just down the road, that would be an easy fix. read more

I feel like I ate at a different restaurant than everyone else leaving reviews, but gosh the food was so bad. This is a mom-and-pop type of place, and the service and ambiance were wonderful as others have mentioned, so we'll keep the review at 3/5 stars. A very inviting restaurant in the middle of a random strip mall on the side of the road, the staff were super friendly and attentive and were the best part of the visit. The food was almost inedible. Pasta dishes overcooked and drowned in salty sauce, would avoid any of the Italian pasta dishes (we had a party of 5 so sampled chicken marsala, pork milanese, shrimp pasta, all were horrible). Maybe the American or Indian fare would be better. In the end, I think if you reset your expectations for a restaurant serving Italian/Indian/American fare in a strip mall anchored by Dunkin Donuts and Holiday Inn Express, you'll come in with appropriate expectations for the food. A big plus is the service and hospitality. read more

The chips were like a deep fried flour tortilla and were not greasy. They were good! The tomato salsa was a little sweet but still tasty. We ordered zucchini and lentil soup for an appetizer. The zucchini was perfect! Nice big chunks of zucchini breaded in a crispy breading served with ranch. The lentil soup was tasty and served with delicious slices of bread. I ordered the 12 oz ribeye with creamed potatoes and baby broccoli. I ordered my steak medium-rare and it came out perfectly. The potatoes were tasty and broccoli was tender. My husband ordered lobster ravioli said it was flavorful, enjoyed it and wished it had more ravioli. Efficient and friendly service and overall great experience in a clean restaurant. Positives: great service, nice people, mellow atmosphere and they were willing to work with us because of my wife's food allergies (wheat and nuts are the main ones) The food: I could eat bowls of the tomato chutney that came with the pita chips that they bring out to each table. I started with the Samosa appetizer, which was tasty and nice with the sauces provided. I ordered the ribeye medium and they cooked it to what I considered medium Negatives: The mashed potatoes that came with the steak were cold, but the steak and broccolini was hot, so I assume they were put on the cold plate first. I didn't say anything about it to them, but keep your side eye to yourself. My wife got the paneer with Dutch cheese and she didn't think it was as flavorful as she expected, we did mention that to them. The biggest negative, some things on the dinner menu are pricey. $21 for a bowl what is essentially stewed veggies and some some cheese, $12 for 6 fried dumplings, and $3 for a iced tea or fountain drink. Summary: We're glad we gave them a try and we plan to go back and try some other menu items. I recommend you give them a try as well. read more

Extremely pleasant dinner experience. Soft but not dark lighting, relaxed atmosphere, and polite, professional, and available staff. We had salad and breaded zucchini for an appetizer. Both were incredible; salad was well presented without being over dressed. The zucchini was hot, fresh, and plenty to share...if you can as the flavor keeps you going back for more. For dinner, the gyro was definitely freshly made, not a microwave reheat. The vegetables were fresh, crisp, and great flavor added to the tzatziki sauce and warm wrap. The fries were meaty enough for a dinner side with crisp outside, warm inside, and just a touch of seasoning flavor added. The other item as a simple pepperoni pizza. This could have been a challenge as too much effort would make it unrecognizable and too little makes it like an over grown bagel bite. However, they succeed here as well. Buttery fresh crust and cooked just long enough to turn the pepperoni up but not so long to burn or crisp it...done right. The center of the crust was firm enough to hold the pizza but not so firm to remind you of a saltine. Great job here and definitely a pizza worth ordering again. Overall, an amazing experience for a Friday night after a long week. A place to unwind and relax without wasting a paycheck on a simple meal. Incredible food, amazing staff, wonderful environment...first time here but definitely will not be a last time. Highly recommended without reservation or doubt! Honestly walking through the restaurant I felt way underdressed for how nice it was in there. Looking over the menu they had a great selection and the prices were really reasonable. We went to Fiorano for restaurant week and were delighted. The proprietor is charming and the atmosphere relaxing. The food was wonderful! I had the samosas (quite nice, with the unusual addition of jalapenos), lamb curry (amazing) and gulab jamun (perfect, just like Mom made when I was young). My companion had the bruschetta (delicious), filet mignon (also delicious) and a decadent limoncello mascarpone cake. We went on Friday, and I'm already trying to figure out when I can go back for more lamb curry! Their regular menu prices look slightly on the pricey side, but the food was definitely worth it. The only slight draw back was slow service - it took a quite a while after we finished our meal to be able to pay and leave. Again, though, it was worth it. read more

The place was spacious and we were immediately greeted by the owner with a welcoming smile. Four of us arrived on a Tuesday afternoon and the restaurant only had a few other guests. We ordered calamari and bruschetta for appetizers. They were both delicious. For main meals we had shrimp salads, a portobello mushroom panini, and Italian hero. All were delicious. For dessert we ordered tiramisu, croissants with cannoli, and lemon marscapone with shaved white chocolate on the top. Again nicely done. All in all a wonderful dining experience.
