Everything in here is absolutely scrumptious! The cinnamon rolls often sell out early, but you gotta snag one because they are stellar. They are always very friendly and personable. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a cute little spot, but there isn't too much seating, so plan to take your goodies to go.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They accept pre-orders too, so if you have an upcoming event, you can plan ahead!

I had an amazing experience with Gingersnaps! I needed a birthday cake for my son's 9th birthday party which we were having at R1 Racing in Lincoln. Our friends & family, in addition to my son & I, are sick of Stop & Shop cake's & ESPECIALLY their prices! They also didn't have anything I really liked for my son's go kart birthday theme either. I actually wanted a fondant cake- because they often MAKE the look of the "Main Table" SO GOOD! I started looking on Instagram & luckily stumbled across their page & was SOOO glad that I didl. I have reached out to many bakeries, patisserie's, confectioner's, restaurants, caterers, cake makers, & other various places for quotes and 9x/10x they take a SIGNIFICANT amount of time (as in a week or more) to respond & once they do, ordering is difficult, complicated & NOT AN EASY PROCESS. I emailed her & she PROMPTLY responded. We went back & forth confirming all the details, sent her a deposit (which is a bit higher than most places- at 50% of your item total) but I'm sure she has good reason such as frequent cancellations. Etc. Either way it is definitely a reasonable fee! The owner was super professional and friendly, very knowledgeable & full of information! She was direct & answered all of my questions quickly and efficiently. I would definitely plan on getting my son's next birthday cake from here as well as any other cakes I may need in the future! 10/10!

This is such a cute little bakery with the friendliest staff! So many delicious treats to pick from. We saw an order of a custom cake/cupcakes getting picked up and the detail was so impressive. My first time seeing a stuffed cookie (and with different flavor options to pick from) and it was amazing!! Will certainly be back!

What an adorable bakery! I can't believe I stumbled upon this place, but I'm happy I did. Everything I had from here was absolutely delicious. I will say, the apple hand pie was probably the best I've ever had. The service was so friendly and unpretentious. The pricing is very fair for what you get. I can't wait to get back there with my kiddos for their amazing cookies and wonderful coffee!

I'm not over in this area much, but now will be a lot more! Thank you Gingersnaps for taking a small, last minute order for my family! OMG the frosting this place is sooooo cute inside too and has coffee! I will be going back to try some of these coffees.

Apple, vanilla, chocolate and pumpkin macarons. Not very good.

This review is specifically for the macarons. I am a huge macaron addict, so obviously I was super excited when this little shop opened up around the corner from me! Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed. I tried each flavor: Vanilla, chocolate, pumpkin and apple. The macarons almost tasted stale. They were brittle and stuck to my teeth when eating them. The taste was more like plain meringue then the nice soft and chewy texture I was looking forward to. The filling to macaron ratio was way off as well. The small amount of filling I did get was very good - the flavors were there, but the textures were all off. I will stick to Woops! for my macarons for now.

Three words-Edible Cookie Dough! Yum! Everything was really good. Could've done without the cupcakes-the birthday cake one was wet inside-not good and the raspberry vanilla was just ok. However, the mini pies were delicious and the mini chocolate cream pie might just be the best I've ever had! No complaints from the cinnamon buns and lemon bars I dropped off. Next time I will definitely try one of the cookies-they all looked so amazing! Oh and the dog loved her peanut butter dog treats!

The fam and I were getting lunch at the burger place in the same plaza... then I remembered that Gingersnaps was there further down, so we decided to go in and see what the offerings were. The place itself is very cute... bright and airy and I like the black and white motif. The baked goods were displayed well. I saw that they had french macarons, so i knew I had to try at least one. I am very picky with my macarons so I was interested to see how these were. I tried the pink one which I believe was vanilla flavored. I liked it, but I think it would have been better if I had let it get to room temp first because it was quite firm from being in the refrigerated case. I also had the individual banana cream pie. This was super yum. The whipped cream was very good and not too sweet, which I liked. Hubby had the carrot cake cupcake, which tasted good but again, should have let it get to room temp for optimal taste. Also, can't beat that they had two for the price of one on day old muffins! They really didn't taste like day old muffins... still very moist and tasty. Some people said this place is expensive but I actually found it to be more reasonably priced than some of the other bakeries I've been to. We'll be back!!

Happy Bday Penelope! (Chocolate cake and vanilla cupcakes)

Recently went to a birthday party where Gingersnaps made the cake. First off... Beautiful cake! It was an Easter themed party and the cake was made into a beautiful forest bunny! Thick, chocolate cake. The frosting was delicious. Fresh raspberry? Yes it was fresh. Can't wait to try other sweets and visit the bakery!

Cute new bakery located in Lincoln, RI. The grand opening was yesterday- January 20, 2019. The bakery was supposed to be closed today since it's a Monday, but luckily they opened on account of the holiday! As soon as I walked in, I was hit with an aroma of fresh baked cookies- what's better than that? I ordered: ~Gingersnap cookie- had to since it was the name of the bakery. It was good. Had great flavor. ~Cookie monster (not sure if that's what it is called) I like this one! My hunny didn't love how crunchy it was. He said the flavor was there, but it would of been perfect if it was under baked about a minute or 2. I agree. -Raspberry bar- delish! I was going to skip this one until I saw there were free samples and I'm glad there were. The samples made me buy it! My recommendation would be to put the tray of samples some place when you first walk in, versus at the other end of the bakery- I almost missed it! -Cinnamon bun- the flavor is there for sure!! Cinnamony and delicious. I put it in the microwave for 20 seconds when I got home and it was absolutely amazing. This place is cute and prices are good. I would definitely return.

I found the shop tucked away in my old stomping grounds, and when my GPS announced I had arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to see it now occupies what used to be a beloved old Italian bakery. There's a small parking lot right next to the well-marked entrance, and their adorable bespectacled cupcake logo makes for a charming first impression. Inside, the space is a nostalgic dream for fans of all things pop culture. The décor spans across countless beloved universes--Marvel, Star Wars, Disney, Harry Potter, Pokémon, Mario, and more. Familiar faces like Batman, Spiderman, Thor, and the Hulk line the walls and shelves, giving the whole place a fun and immersive vibe. But let's talk about the real stars: the baked goods. The display at the entrance is packed with eye-catching treats--cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and beyond. Everything looked just as mouthwatering in person as it did in the photos that initially drew me in. In addition to desserts, they also offer cannoli, cinnamon rolls, brownies, breakfast wraps, sandwiches, bagels, toasts, bowls, and a variety of drinks including coffee, smoothies, and iced options. Since I was there for cupcakes, I picked out three flavors: Mocha Cappuccino, Banana Pudding, and Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana. I only got to try the two banana ones, but both were delicious. The Mocha one smelled heavenly though! A surprise bonus--the cupcakes had fillings, which I wasn't expecting. The frosting-to-cake ratio was perfect, and the cake itself was light and fluffy, yet sturdy enough to hold up the frosting. The owner was super helpful in guiding my selections and genuinely lit up when I asked about the bakery's background and theme. They host themed events too--like an upcoming Star Wars Day breakfast with a buffet, character meet-and-greets, goodie bags, and more. I don't live in the area anymore, so coming back would be a special treat--but I definitely plan to. Getting out of the parking lot was a bit tricky due to the busy nearby intersection, but it wasn't too hard to navigate. A small inconvenience considering everything this place has to offer. Bottom line: this bakery is a delightful, nerdy, sugar-filled gem. A perfect place to treat yourself!
