We were so excited to hear they made cakes for order and knew we needed to get one for my birthday. It was an excellent experience from start to finish- quick turnaround, great price for a quality product, and of course, delicious flavors. It was very large, but thin. Not how I prefer my cookies but it was good with a homemade warmth to it. My favorite dessert I got was a peach crisp danish-like item for $1.95. It had nice flaky layers, was large for the price and the peach filling was perfect. My only gripe was the cinnamon bun was too dry. Only the very middle was moist, it needed more butter throughout. They have tons of desserts and full sized cakes for all under $28. Great value here.

I had some time at the end of my day to swing by Chepachet to finally try Who Cut The Cheesecake…read more The RI FOOD FIGHTS #bestscoopshopri coupon brought me in, but they were already on my radar as a cheesecake lover. The inside was cute, wooden walls that reminded me of a cabin, even though they were in a small strip of stores. It had a cozy feel to it. They not only offer cheesecakes and ice cream, but coffee, cake pops and other treats. I got there not long before close, so I did my best to get in and out quickly. The woman who helped me was kind and friendly. I got a few cheesecakes to go with my ice cream and then got in my car to head home. I ate the ice cream on the way. I chose strawberry. It was a solid strawberry ice cream. Good flavor, decent texture. When I got to my kitchen, I took a bite of each of the cheesecakes I got, because I NEEDED to know what they tasted like. Mango Tango, Key Lime and Lemon Blueberry (can you tell I like fruity flavors?) The cheesecake itself was thick and creamy but not too rich. Each of the flavors came through. The mango was tangy, the key lime refreshing, and the lemon blueberry delightful. I'll be snacking on those bit by bit this week. The crust was standard graham cracker, firm texture but your fork will still cut through it easily. The paper that wraps the minis lays flat if you open it up, making it like a built in plate! The shop sits at the edge of a small shopping area in Chepachet. If you like antiques, trinket or gift shopping, that's a great address for that, then you can swing by Who Cut The Cheesecake after for some coffee and a sweet treat!

"Who Cut the Cheesecake" leans into flavored, smaller-format cheesecakes instead of the classic…read moredense New York slice, which already makes it more approachable if you're not into that heavy, overly rich style. Everything is portioned more like a cupcake than a full slice, so you can actually try multiple flavors without committing to one. Side note: you can order whole cheesecakes along with custom cakes for those special occasion's as well! I went with the cookie dough, cookies & cream, and birthday cake cheesecakes. Across the board, they were solid. Lighter in texture, not too sweet, not overly dense, and easy to eat. If you're expecting that thick, classic New York style bite, this isn't it. But that's the point. These feel more like a hybrid dessert cheesecake meets whipped, flavored treat. The surprise of the visit wasn't even the cheesecake. It was the chocolate chip cookies. Perfect execution.. thin, soft, chewy center with a crisp edge. They had that exact homemade quality you can't fake, like something straight out of your grandmother's kitchen. Balanced sweetness and proper texture. I could've easily gone through an entire tray without thinking twice. From a menu standpoint, they're clearly built around: - Flavored, individual-sized cheesecakes (cookie dough, cookies & cream, birthday cake, etc.) - Rotating or staple dessert flavors that lean more fun than traditional - Classic baked goods like cookies that honestly compete with (or outperform) the main attraction If I'm being critical--this isn't a destination for purists looking for a traditional cheesecake experience. But if you want variety, lighter texture, and more flavor-driven desserts, it hits. Overall: came for cheesecake, would come back for the cookies.

I needed a few cupcakes for a mid-week birthday celebration. Being a bit of a nerd myself, this…read morebakery instantly caught my eye--it felt like a match made in heaven. And honestly, it was. I found the shop tucked away in my old stomping grounds, and when my GPS announced I had arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to see it now occupies what used to be a beloved old Italian bakery. There's a small parking lot right next to the well-marked entrance, and their adorable bespectacled cupcake logo makes for a charming first impression. Inside, the space is a nostalgic dream for fans of all things pop culture. The décor spans across countless beloved universes--Marvel, Star Wars, Disney, Harry Potter, Pokémon, Mario, and more. Familiar faces like Batman, Spiderman, Thor, and the Hulk line the walls and shelves, giving the whole place a fun and immersive vibe. But let's talk about the real stars: the baked goods. The display at the entrance is packed with eye-catching treats--cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and beyond. Everything looked just as mouthwatering in person as it did in the photos that initially drew me in. In addition to desserts, they also offer cannoli, cinnamon rolls, brownies, breakfast wraps, sandwiches, bagels, toasts, bowls, and a variety of drinks including coffee, smoothies, and iced options. Since I was there for cupcakes, I picked out three flavors: Mocha Cappuccino, Banana Pudding, and Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana. I only got to try the two banana ones, but both were delicious. The Mocha one smelled heavenly though! A surprise bonus--the cupcakes had fillings, which I wasn't expecting. The frosting-to-cake ratio was perfect, and the cake itself was light and fluffy, yet sturdy enough to hold up the frosting. The owner was super helpful in guiding my selections and genuinely lit up when I asked about the bakery's background and theme. They host themed events too--like an upcoming Star Wars Day breakfast with a buffet, character meet-and-greets, goodie bags, and more. I don't live in the area anymore, so coming back would be a special treat--but I definitely plan to. Getting out of the parking lot was a bit tricky due to the busy nearby intersection, but it wasn't too hard to navigate. A small inconvenience considering everything this place has to offer. Bottom line: this bakery is a delightful, nerdy, sugar-filled gem. A perfect place to treat yourself!

They had worked with Crystal in the past few years for birthdays, weddings, and anniversary celebrations, among others. All my connections had made note with regard to how detail oriented and delicious her work was every time. Of course, we asked to book a tasting and meeting immediately. Crystal was wonderful to us at the tasting, marking a personalized sign and running through the various flavors her clients often enjoy. She went through each of the sheet and tiered cake options, and even provided different designs she imagined for us based on our colors and theme. And her quote was fantastic! In the end, we were so delighted that we chose a three-tiered, salted pretzel and lemon cake for our wedding. A different flavor for different tiers. Come the day of the wedding, we were not disappointed. The cake came out incredibly beautiful. Every little detail was done with such thought that it felt like the cake was fake, that it couldn't possibly be an edible masterpiece.
