L4. Smoked Teriyaki Seitan Lunch Special Homemade Lemonade

Food was yummy for the price. Would order from this place again if I was in the area. The lemonade was so refreshing wish it was bigger. Service wise they seemed busy taken online orders, but I got my food at a reasonable time and there was a place for me to sit inside the restaurant.

I wish every neighborhood had a spot like Ginger House to accommodate people looking for vegan versions of their favorite Chinese/Asian takeout dishes. We ordered recently for the first time, and were happy with our experience. Of the 3 appetizers we got, my favorite was the crispy watercress and soy cheese wontons. They reminded me of crab rangoon, but they felt so much lighter than that. It came with a mango sauce that I liked on its own, but not so much with the wontons. The crispy spring rolls were also very tasty. The crispy soy protein nuggets (probably should have tried a non-fried appetizer too, but I guess that will have to wait until next time) were a little bit too fried for my preference, but I liked the BBQ sauce that accompanied it. We ordered 2 mains. The eggplant and string beans was what you would expect from that standard Chinese takeout dish, with a thick spicy garlic sauce. We also got the basil soy protein, which came with lots of zucchini, asparagus, and bell peppers. The texture of the soy protein there was so similar to chicken that at times I forgot the dish was vegan. Both were really good, and I would get either of them again. Each entree also came with a choice of soup or salad, which was a nice bonus, plus rice, either coconut white rice or brown rice. Ginger House has a lot of options on their menu, so we're looking forward to trying more soon!

    Tom Yum Soup???!

The fried rice isn't really "fried" it's more like a mushy boiled rice concussion with dead avocado on top of it Tom yum is served with big chunks of boiled tomato in it, and a strong ginger flavor, do not expect any lemongrass cuz you ain't getting any Spring rolls were decent, although the chili sauce was most likely mixed with water ( too liquid for it to be called sauce)

    Plastic found in my food.

I used to order from here a lot pre pandemic until their prices shot up. I have since ordered from here but not frequently. I feel that the quality of the food has gone down. I was in the mood for pineapple fried rice and bbq ribs and they are close by so I decided to give it a shot. I was disappointed when I got my food. Portion wise, it was more than okay but the ham in the rice was way too small for it to be noticed, flavor wise when I ate. The bbq ribs were just okay, nothing spectacular and the container was packed with a ton of sliced cucumber which I didn't eat. I feel like I paid 7 dollars for cucumber and a few pieces of the ribs. So the best part of my dish was finding a piece of PLASTIC in my food. NOT HAPPY AND NOT GOOD. Suffice it to say that I will never be ordering or coming here again...AT ALL!!!! BTW.....I discarded the food after finding plastic, so money down the damn drain!!!

Last Friday I ordered dinner and a lemonade. I noticed a short black strand of hair floating in the lemonade and upon closer inspection it turned out to be over 10 strands of hair. Order at your own risk.

I've been ordering from this place for years and just finally getting around to leaving a review! Deliver is always ridiculously fast and the food is consistently delicious. Tonight I ordered the Thai Basil Fried Rice and the Crispy Soy Protein Nuggets two of my regular items. As always, delivery appeared right away, food was hot and exactly as it has been the last who knows how many times. They've got a great cherry cheese cake, which I skipped tonight and some other great main dishes as well. I've never had a bad experience with them. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area.

This is definitely a take-out joint rather than a fine dine in experience. I nearly scared the beep out of my family. When we arrived, the place was empty and the tables were unclean- mysterious sauce was stuck to tables and you could tell they haven't been dusting at all. Sanitation aside... I thought the food was great. All the dishes we ordered had great flavor and textures. The mock meats were spot on with the textures. However, the dishes took a hefty amount of time to come out. Then the side of rice we ordered took even longer, because apparently the waitress forgot. I honestly don't blame her, because one, generally most folks eat the dishes without extra rice (but I can't help it I am in love with rice) and two, they were pretty much swamped with take-out others. I must have seen the delivery guy bust out 10 orders every several minutes during my stay. Anyways, clean the place up and provide better service to the customers actually sitting inside your restaurant and all will be better.

I stumbled upon this restaurant while driving in Brooklyn and decided to check it out The food was good I order the Sesame protein lunch special for $7.50. It came with brown rice and miso soup included in the $7.50 It took about 10 minutes for my order to be ready. The food was good and the sesame soy protein tasted like meat! I ordered the non-vegan Thai iced tea to wash it all down and I liked it. It was my first time drinking Thai iced tea! Would I go back to this restaurant? Yes!

The menu is stacked--sandwiches, hearty apps, macs, and cozy entrees that make you forget you're eating vegan. During my visit, they were running a Reuben sandwich special that seriously tempted me, but I went with the oyster mushroom calamari, and wow, the seasoning was spot on, and it could easily fool a seafood lover. My friend tried the seitan wings and was really impressed, even though he's usually not into mock meats. They came with super flavorful sauces and were definitely shareable. He also had the smash burger, which was a total win--savory, satisfying, and gave big diner vibes. We heard the milkshakes are amazing too, but we were too full to fit them in. Next time, for sure. Only downside? The service was on the slow side--we waited over 30 minutes between apps and mains. It's a popular spot, so some delay is understandable, but it was noticeable. Overall, I loved it and can't wait to go back with an emptier stomach and room for dessert.

The music is so soothing that it instantly makes you feel at ease and ready to relax in your seat. Now, let me tell you about the food. It's all vegan and plant-based, and it's absolutely delicious! I was skeptical at first, thinking, "This can't be all plant-based. What's going on here?" But boy, was I wrong! I ordered a few items, including nachos, trio empanadas, and vegan wontons. I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. The flavors were so vibrant and the textures were so satisfying. I couldn't stop eating! Then, I ordered the oxtail with rice and beans, steak in a chimichurri sauce with rice and beans, and a hamburger with yuca fries. I also ordered two mac and cheese dishes and a side of tostones with a garlic sauce. To top it all off, we ordered a sour sop with vodka, a cream juice, and a red stripe beer. And let's not forget the tres leches and cheesecake with a passion fruit drizzle. I know I usually don't write long reviews, but this place had me hooked from the very first appetizer. The parking isn't great, so get there early and have your credit card ready. It's not a cheap place, but the quality of the food is worth every penny.
