Beef Pho, Crispy Shrimp & Chicken Roll
    Jordana L.

Everything is infused with ginger everything taste clean, there's no fat on the beef which is good for my liking. The noodles are a little thick. broth and needs to have a little more flavour very natural tasting which is still good Their crispy shrimp and chicken rolls are very good, the crispy vegetable rolls are dry. Taro milkshakes are good, the sugar cane drink is refreshing & the white chocolate cheesecake is delicious

Beer nuts with sweet ginger and salted garlic. Free with meal or $1.99 to go.

I didn't want to give this establishment 5 stars because of the higher price compared to other great viet restaurants in the area. My overall experience pushed it from four stars to five. Food - Free small bowl of beer nuts, yum. Yes, free. They're seasoned with sweet ginger and salted garlic. Not sure why, but there was a nice, welcomed spice to them. You can also purchase these for $1.99 if you want more or some to go. The server asked us what we wanted to drink (which is different from regular pho stores), I said tea. I don't know if this is complementary, but it's the same green tea that normally comes to your table at most other pho restaurants. I'll make sure to check my bill next time. Pho only comes in small and large sizes. The prices are higher than other pho restaurants in the area. However, it's a price I'm happy to pay since you get the "free" peanuts and the place is so clean. The pho here is good. We both got size small (pho dac biet) and felt the portions were correct & veggies came plentiful. He also brought me extra lime as soon as I asked. The noodles and meat were good. The only thing I didn't care for was all the raw onion in the pho (I picked some out). One other thing is that I like my broth smoking hot. It was hot, but not really smoking/steaming hot. A small bowl of pho dac biet was more than $7, but less than $8. 2 Spring rolls served on a couple pieces of lettuce with some carrots and nuoc mam to dip. You could tell the oil they fried these in were fresh which made for a good spring roll. Again, a little pricey since it came with 2, but good enough that I'll probably order it again. Service - Always good and friendly. They take your order instead of you having to write it down. Checked up on us once during our meal which was nice even though we didn't need anything. Brought everything out quickly. I like their staff. Cleanliness - 5 out of 5, reallyyy clean. Really, really clean; which is rare for a pho place. You can bring your non-Asian friends here without them questioning your choice of shady restaurant. Also had enough parking spots to accommodate customers. Final thoughts - Although it is a bit pricier here, it doesn't bother me thaaat much. It would bother me less if pho con bo wasn't in the area. But on cold days that I'm feeling bummy and don't want to bump into anyone at pho con bo, I'll definitely be coming here. Which is likely how I'll be feeling a lot. I'll also be back to try the worlds largest bowl of pho (dac biet, 16 inch bowl)

Quite interesting layout for the restaurant. Its attractive from the outside. Went with co-workers during lunch to check it out. The restaurant was clean, staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and they had decent parking. I ordered the Hot & sour Seafood noodle soup, which had shrimps, mussels, squid, fish ball, crab. I found it quite good. Overall, good experience.

A welcome new place to eat lunch or dinner. Friendly staff and bright interior. Generous portions and flavorful dishes. We've been there twice so far and never have been disappointed . We are definitely are regulars now!!

Broth no flavour when we ordered the special pho. Got in at 11am and they served us old beef and old bean sprouts. Broth had a funky old smell. Never coming back. Disgusting

Service: Went on a day that the AC was broken (during summer time) but the owner who directed us to a table at the very corner refused to open the windows. However, the staffs were very nice and friendly. Ordered a giant bowl of Pho to share between 2 and we could not finish it. What a challenge. Quality: drinks were good (avocado smoothie and Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk). Pho was below average, the broth was lukewarm. Overall: if you want to challenge yourself, give it a try bcos it was fun. We might come back to try other items on the menu but definitely not for the Pho

Great prices fast service, good pho spot especially in this area where there is not much pho options around. I had the rare beef pho and pork sub. Both great choices.

From a Vietnamese food fan I would say this place is probably a bit on the normal side, "nothing to write home about." Prices are okay. As of this writing the place looks good (recent new opening) and clean. I wouldn't mind being back if I happen to be nearby but wouldn't make my way to it if I were to consider a Vietnamese place to look forward to.

I came here specifically for the ginormous bowl of pho for $40. We had 3 adults and 2 kids and still couldn't finish it. We probably could have had one more adult to finish it. The portion was really good, you got a variety of items that come with the pho : tripe, onions, green onions, rare beef, flank beef, etc... I enjoyed the thickness and texture of the noodles and liked the fact that we were provided with long chopsticks, a laddle, individual spoons and such with no hesitation. The pho soup lacked in flavour so we used more sauce than usual but overall I enjoyed the portion but just wish the soup had more flavour :(

Big portion meal and plated really well. The meat are well seasoned and my favourite is the Spring roll.. I also like the free peanut appetizer before ordering. Very friendly and accommodating staff. very clean too.

The food was amazing as expected and so was the service. The service was fast and very helpful. But honestly I been going there for the last few days and one thing, a person has truly brought colour to this place. A girl so beautiful you can mistake her for a angel she looks so heavenly and sweet, I think she the real reason I go back everyday, she always there sitting in the corner in her own little world it's so adorable especially those small little smiles of hers . I seen her make drinks so she definitely a worker there, she makes that place look so lively it's truly blows me away that a girl like that exists. A girl so rich in her outfits and clearly a woman with wonderful taste in food. If I come back and she there I could eat for hours, she is so memorizing to the eye, idk how I can describe it. I recall her saying her name was Alice. Such a beautiful angel in a place so close to heaven this place is a dream,10/10 recommendation

Beef salad - really refreshing and flavorful salad. Had a bit of spicy kick on the beef which was really nice with the other fresh vegetables. Wine braised pho hotpot - I really enjoyed this hotpot - even more so than their typical pho. You can get unlimited soup refills too which is great. Broth is light yet flavorful. Pho - decided to try their "regular " pho which has a bit more herbal notes than their hotpot. It's not bad but I could see some of the herbal/spice undertones being off putting to some. Stret style platter - lots of good, great variety, very fresh. Loved this dish - getting to make your own customized roll is worth it. Durian crema coffee - an interesting that I've never seen. It's line a typical coffe but a large and thick layer of durian foam layer on top of the coffee. Price: A bit higher than other pho places but well worth trying

Tips: - This place takes debit and cash only…read more - The hot tea is scorching hot. A couple of Wednesdays ago, after work, I had an early dinner at this Pho Anh Vu on Highway 7 in Vaughan, between Keele and Jane streets. I have passed by this eatery a number of times since it opened. It was time to check it out. This location used to be Veg Italiano. There used to be a pho place a few doors down. It is now a Turkish eatery. This small plaza does have some turnover. However, the Turkish place and this eatery have been here for at least a couple of years. I hope they remain. I got here at around 3:30 pm. I had no problem finding a parking spot. I backed into a vacant one and walked in. I was immediately greeted by a male staffer. I got to sit wherever I wanted. I chose a booth by the window. I got menus to peruse. There were two other tables with customers. It was nice. Hot tea came to me with two cups. The hot tea was exceptionally piping hot. I used both cups to pour tea into them and let them cool. I was ready to order. It took a long time to get a server to come over. The woman at the counter noticed that I was ready and flagged the male server to take my order. I got these items: - Soda lemonade - Grilled chicken on vermicelli with spring rolls My soda lemonade came first. It was fizzy, cold, and refreshing. I loved it so much. I would get it again in a heartbeat. It also helped me down my food as I waited for my hot tea to cool down. When my tea was finally at a temperature that wouldn't scorch my tongue, it was fragrant and yummy. I loved the grilled chicken. It was flavourful and grilled to perfection. The vermicelli was generous and yummy. The spring rolls were stuffed and crispy. This dish came with dipping sauce that I ended up pouring on everything. I feel that I needed more of it. I paid at the counter with a debit card. I tapped and was good. This eatery got busy after 4 pm. My guess is that everyone came to watch the Canada-Switzerland FIFA game. It got tense in the place. Eventually, Canada lost this game. I used the washroom before I left. It was beautiful and clean. It's a decent location that serves good food. The tea was too hot. Service started off slow, but was a lot better once my order was place. I'd love to return to try more items off the menu. (280)

Service was relatively fast despite it being very busy. Team was friendly and knowledgeable. A little bit of communication would have been nice, just got the "it's coming" the two times I asked about where it was, no timeline or anything. Spring rolls were kind of bland, no real flavour - however the crunchiness hits the spot. Bun bo hue when it arrives is truly amazing! The perfect amount of spice - makes you sweat a bit without killing you - you can still taste everything you're eating! I do prefer Toronto's Pho Anh Vu over the Vancouver location, somehow the Bun Bo Hue doesn't hit the same over here.

We walked in and were greeted by a friendly few staff members who showed us to our table. The decor inside was modern, it was clean and the ambiance was great. As soon as we sat down we were brought hot drinks of our choice to warm us up. It took a while before we settled on our meal choices after much discussion. We have some vegetarians and some non-vegetarians in our family so it was nice to see that vegetarians could be accommodated here. All of the meals turned out to be very tasty from our appetizers to our mains. Spring Rolls** were crispy, tasty and served with a sweet-spicy sauce. These were the outstanding showstoppers of the entire meal or at least a few of us agreed that they were our favourite choice. Vegetarian Cold Rolls (small) were crunchy, refreshing and served with a peanut sauce with roasted peanuts on top. I was told that my homemade version of vegetarian cold rolls was even better than the restaurant version since I include more tofu but this restaurant version came in a close second place. Stir-fried Vegetables with Tofu and Steamed Rice was very super flavourful, as was the veggie soup broth. The main vegetarian dish had a bit of kick to it, lots of black pepper, and a tangy spicy taste which was almost too spicy for one family member's simple palate. Nothing a bowl full of rice couldn't fix. What would make it a 5 star rating would be if they had included a bit more tofu, otherwise it was a very good dish. Grilled Pork Chop with Rice was wonderfully delicious. The veggies made the dish eye catching. The flavour packed broth was delightful. It was served with a drizzle of oil of green onions which when combined with freshly steamed rice make the perfect trifecta. Stir-Fry Rice Noodles with Seafood (which had squid, fish balls, shrimp and possibly scallops) was very well received by one hungry man. He didn't mind that the vegetarians had more veggies on their plates than him. Stir-Fry Rice Noodles* with Vegetables had a great colourful presentation and tasted very good, according to another. Once again their only other comment about the dish was that they wished there was more tofu in it. What would make it a 5 star rating would be if they had included a bit more tofu, otherwise it was also a good dish. The staff were more than accommodating to the requests of grandparents who needed to relocate tables to stay warm during this cold winter season. My family very much appreciated our visit to this restaurant. Fantastic hospitality. Great service and friendly personable staff.

You either love it or hate it, but I love tendon and we ordered this specifically because they mentioned they will add a bone of tendon. Not sure if it's in all bowls or just what they had left. It was certainly worth the money with the offer. While we picked and cut away all the tender tendon pieces, there are some connective tendon pieces that are still bit stiff, I mean I try to pressure cook it bit more later along with my ingredients when I got home to get the adjoining tendons between the bones and made another collagen rich soup / broth.
