Great good. Good service. Plenty of seating. I ordered my food as take out and it was still delicious 20 min after I got home.

Ate lunch here today since we had this group tour at Viejas. The stars are for the friendly service and clean place to sit down and eat. The food is forgettable and it's sad because that's my kind of food. I ordered the Vegetable Egg Roll ($8) which comes out as 4 egg rolls with sweet chili dipping sauce. Egg rolls came quickly cooked alright, but the veggies are thinly sliced which is bland. The chili dipping sauce didn't help either. The Pork Adobo which comes with a cup of rice ($16) looked tasty and the serving was huge! That's about it. The meat was tender but a lot of fat and oh wow...that's not the pork adobo I know. Just a very disappointing lunch. Yeah, didn't finish it. I got a $10 discount and some other discount from the members card, I still paid $12. They give you a free small bottled water. Order and pay 1st at the entrance before being seated. If dining, eat at the outlet food stalls. They got discount coupons available at the service center.

The food was great, service was friendly, and the resturnt was nice and clean. I like that you order and then sit down. They bring the food to you and it's very relaxing. Pros: * Delicious food; recommend the broccoli beef and chicken pho. * Friendly and fast service * Clean and modern restaurant Cons: * N/A Extra: * show your players card for a discount

This was an unexpected surprise! We dipped in for a late night snack after a concert and opted for a shared dish of won ton noodle soup and some veggie rolls - we were not disappointed. The venue was located inside of the Viejas Casino and while there was a line to get in, the wait was not long at all. You order at the cashier's booth, seated, and your food is brought to you. The restaurant was abuzz with kitchen noises: shuffling of pots and pans and cozy steam coming from the kitchen suggesting the food is made on the spot. Our soup could not have been more satisfying - the broth was savory, the veggies still had some crunch, and portion was substantial- no skimping of anything! We both managed two servings each with generous portions of wonton AND noodles that tasted home made. Even though it was late the restaurant was busy and staff were helpful! Definitely a place to keep in mind if I visit again.

The only Asian food available inside Viejas Casino. It's not bad, but not the best either. It's a great place to eat if you're craving that Asian flavor up here in alpine. The service is excellent, they take your order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. It's a great grab and go place. Definitely bring someone to eat with here since the portions are family style.

Food was soild. The service was great. The vibe was chill. Food came out fast and hot. We got Kung Pao Chicken and Shrimp Lo Mein. Tender Chicken. Good flavor. Peppers and onions could of been more fresh. Shrimp had good texture. Noodles were cooked properly. Can't complain. Cheap, fast, and efficient.

Eating spring rolls and fried rice

The service was a bit slow during a time the restaurant was not very busy. The fried rice was fair at best. I have had better. The Vietnamese Spring Rolls were not good at all. The meat used in the fried rice and spring rolls was a bit tough. There is a 15% discount for veterans with a Viejas Heroes Club card, available to all U.S. military veterans. After giving Ginger Noodle Bar a try, I do not care to dine there again.

There's a wait to get in. Not long but a small line. Went here on a Saturday afternoon. The cashier was a nice lady who was patient and helped us out with questions. You order at the register, and sit yourself type of small restaurant. Once you order, they just drop off the food. That's it. No one will come to your table, if you need anything just get up and ask the counter. The food came out about 5-10mins. The plate was smaller than expected. Not a lot of vegetables. Simple and plain. Not much too it. Other than the food being okay, service was mediocre. We left a tip of course prior to even getting additional service. Tip is for the folks that come bring the food and clean up the table. Side note: first time here and I won! Beginner's luck :)

We ordered the General Tso chicken to go and took it to our room, it was drenched in sauce and fatty pieces of chicken, I ate a couple of pieces and found it to be disgusting, we were too tired to take it back. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

    Chicken Pas Thai.

If you like authentic Pad Thai, you may want to order something else. It lacked the peanuts, egg, and lime and sauce was a bit bland.

My absolute favorite! Their food is so good every time it's always packed full of guests. There is little to no wait time and I love how the menu is straight to the point plus very authentic. When I'm craving noodles or pho this is our go to!

    Large, clean beautiful restaurant.

We had a smorgasbord of Chinese Food at the Ginger Noodle Bar this Labor Day Weekend!!! We started by being greeted at the register by a helpful lady who took our order. We thought that we would have General Tso's Chicken and Beef and Broccoli, plus Vegetable Egg Rolls, Yang Chow Fried Rice with Shrimp; and also a side of Noodles. Gonzalo also got a specialty soup, which had tree branches coming out of it. He had it last time and loved it!!! We were sat at the same table as last time, and again they pushed two tables together because of all of the food. It was all delicious and so much that we had plenty of leftovers, which is what we wanted. We each got a complimentary water, and I got a Diet Pepsi. I was also able to get us 10% off with Viejas Bonus Points.

Definitely great place to try different types of Asian food. As an American Asian Pacific Islander Filipina - their menu has BBQ chicken skewers, lumpia & pork adobo. The lumpia & skewers were okay. The pork adobo is bomb! Just like my family makes, a bug serving with pepper corns, fatty pieces of pork with a soy sauce vinegar base. The only thing missing is the bay leaves to pick out. MASARAP NAMAN! The only comment about the adobo is they don't have chicken. Anyhow, the service is excellent. Staff are always on it with serving the food hot & fast. The place is always clean. Sleek in variations of wood, individual & family style seating. If you shopping at Viejas & have a hankering for Asian food - definitely should stop in.

One of my favorite things about this place is how easy it is. You order on the kiosk, grab a seat, and your food usually comes out within like 10-15 minutes. The inside has a lot of seating and even games like Jenga which makes it feel like a fun spot to hang out for lunch. I didn't interact much with service since I used the kiosk, but the worker upfront was really friendly and even brought my takeout to my table. This time I tried the Dynamite Crawfish Bowl and the Dynamite Fries. The bowl comes with crawfish, rice, dynamite sauce, eel sauce, seaweed, sesame seeds, and pickled radish on top. The fries normally come with sweet potato fries but I swapped mine for regular fries because I just wasn't feeling sweet potato that day. The fries were honestly kind of underwhelming. It was basically fries with dynamite sauce and only a few pieces of garlic confit, which was the part I was most excited for. They weren't bad, just really underwhelming. I honestly think the sweet potato fries probably would've worked better with the flavors. The crawfish bowl though was really good. The crawfish had this slight smoky flavor to it like it was lightly torched and they give you a lot in each bite. The rice was fluffy and cooked perfectly and the pickled radish on top helped cut through all the richness from the sauces. Everything worked really well together flavor wise. My only complaint is that halfway through the bowl the flavors started blending together a little too much and it gets boring, but overall it was still super satisfying and filling. Definitely still one of my favorite quick lunch spots in Carmel Mountain and somewhere I'd bring friends because the menu has so many good options. Their dessert menu also sounds insane so I already know I'll be back.

First off, there is free parking available, just circle around the building until you see a garage entrance for retail parking. Two hours for free! Let me first explain the aesthetics of this place. Clean and modern with mid century feel accented with greenery throughout. Please note that they won't seat you until most of your party is present. We came here for Happy Hour which was from 4-6pm from Tuesday to Sunday! This is fantastic that HH includes the weekend!!!! To start, got a wellness shot which had a meld of juices and ginger. A great drink to ready your palate. For cocktails, I tried the Suika Spritz, which was refreshing! The Absolutely Pho-nomenal definitely tasted like cold Pho broth but spiked. It wasn't my favorite drink, but glad I tried it nonetheless. Of course we ordered the $1 oysters, and ordered all three - Baja, Pacific Northwest, & East Coast. It came with some Asian fusion sauces to dress our oysters. My fave was the Baja as these were the freshest! All three were smooth and non briny. On the HH menu we also tried - Bulgogi Birria Vampiro - Tender meat with bulgogi seasoned beef on top of a tostada. Really liked the meld of the two cultures in this dish. Duck Liver Mousse - Comes with rustic bread & crème fraiche. Very duck forward. I liked this because it was rich with flavor. Stone Crab Taco - Loved the nod to Loganisa in this taco! This was by far, my favorite protein dish on the HH menu!!!! Regular Menu - Mango Nasturium Kimchi Salad - I absolutely loved this vibrant and fresh dish!!!! I had to go back for second and thirds! Shishito Peppers with Bonito Flakes - This was definitely a fun and flavorful dish with lots of umami. Dessert - Hotteok and Vanilla Ice Cream - this was my favorite dessert! The pancakes were flaky and delicious!! Bonbunja Tiramisu - Beware! This has a strong coffee taste. It reminded of the strength and flavor profile of a Vietnamese coffee. I can't believe it's not cheesecake - Definitely a mix of a brûlée but with a cheesecake flavor. Confusing but works lol. We met the executive chef, Kyler, who explained and served some of dishes we ordered. The entire staff was so accommodating and even reminded us if we needed our parking validated! Our water never ran empty and our dishes were promptly taken away as we finished. Definitely a place to visit during HH since they offer amazing food and cocktail choices.

Food: We got several appetizers and 3 entrees. We had the Mango Kimchi Salad, Bulgogi Birria Vampiro, Silkworm Pupa Tacos, Doenjang Risotto, Miso Lingcod, and Braised Short Rib. We got plenty of dishes to try, but unfortunately they were either simply mediocre or had an issue. The Kimchi Salad was too strong in spice and the mangos were unripe and hard. The Birria Vampiro was simply mediocre and sort of bland. Silkworm Pupa Tacos were again sort of bland. The Risotto was undercooked and crunchy instead of 'al dente'. Miso Lingcod had a very fishy taste and not much else. And the Braised Short Rib was too salty. Drinks: I got the Choi's cocktail and my wife got the Gangnam Style espresso martini. Both drinks were very well made and tasted great! Service: Unlike the food, the service was great! From the person who confirmed our reservation, to the staff at the front of the door, and to our server, they were all extremely friendly. We were celebrating an occasion, which we made known when booking and upon sitting down we got a handwritten card with a congratulations note. That was very unexpected and awesome! We also got a couple of complimentary cocktail shots from the bartender while we were there. Overall, I would say the staff and service was extremely good. Parking: The area of San Diego that Choi's is located is unfortunately very bad. Overfilled with homeless, drug addicts, and just plain shady looking people who roam the streets. I was overjoyed when I found out that they give you two hours of complimentary parking in a safe place! So to summarize: The staff that provide great service, the bartender with awesome drinks, and the free parking in a safe place simply do not make up for the main reason we were there: the food. The only reason I gave this place 2 stars instead of 1 was because of all these other factors besides the food. Before paying the bill and leaving, we did let the server know about the issues we found with the food in a very friendly and constructive way. She was thankful for the honesty and the feedback.

The items seemed to be comfort food like pot stickers, spring rolls, fried rice, and chicken wings but flavored with unique combinations of seasonings and spices. I started my meal with the Marinated Beef Tri-Tip Skewers which came as a set of three and a Chinese mustard for dipping. The meat was very tender and well-seasoned. I also ordered the Cumin Lamb Stir Fry which the cashier said was medium spicy. After tasting a couple of bites of the noodles from the serving bowl, I agreed that the heat level was moderate, even for my palate. I thought the portion size should have been more for the price. That was my main criticism for both items, otherwise the food was solid for an Asian fusion eatery.
