As the other reviews have stated the prices for the food here is outrageous. Upscale carry out food as I like to call it. Aside from the casino up charge the service was acceptable. Our waitress was attentive and patient and waited until I decided which entree to settle on between garlic shrimp or sweet and sour chicken( I choose the chicken). I must say the food was good my boyfriend ordered the chicken and broccoli and I ordered a side of green beans with garlic sauce. Although the dishes did not lack in flavor, and I might sound like a cheapie, but $22 and $26 for something I can get around the corner at the neighborhood carry out is crazy; but who am I to complain I choose this life.. In conclusion , try Ginger read more

I drove all the way from Virginia Beach because I've heard so much about this restaurant from friends. I gathered them together and we came here and had a AWESOME TIME! The food was amazing, the drinks were amazing, and the atmosphere was friendly. I have a new awesome friend, STEVEN!! He's wonderful. I enjoyed his conversation. He's fun and a very happy person. I will be back again. LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! read more

The veggie and vegan options late at night are limited. It's a pricey menu but I had the crispy tofu. That's as good as it sounds. All I tasted was the peanut dip but I was hungry and it was late. My friend had the wonton soup and said it was good. Also, the lettuce wraps were apparently good. In general, I wish the area had more late night food options. read more

Took my gf for date and our server named Song and May gave us THE BEST SERVICE EVER. we did not had to ask for anything. We felt welcomed. They were very sweet and caring. The food was amazing too. I am a very picky eating and I was kind of hesitant about ordering certain food but Song described everything about the food and I was able to enjoy my food and my date loved it too read more

The food was painfully mid. I ordered the garlic edamame, braised tofu, and mango sticky rice. The garlic edamame was severely underseasoned. The braised tofu was ok, it was missing something and the texture of the fried tofu was soggy and off. The mango sticky rice was the worst... they did not use gelatinous rice. They use regular white rice and decided to just congeal it with coconut milk. The mango was an underripe American mango... not a mango traditionally used for mango sticky rice. The waitress did not use a pen and paper for our party of about 10, which in turn made her run around aimless and forget multiple things. The check can only be split 4 ways btw. The pros are that the restaurant is clean and beautiful. I would never go back. The food is mid and severely over priced. read more

Two stars due to observing tables not being sanitized and charged someone else's check. Guests receive wet towels to wipe hands after a meal. We observed that same towel that a guest used was used to wipe down a table. No sanitation spray was used to wipe tables down although they said that's their protocol. We waited a while for our check so had time to observe. Also . . . had a hold on my card for $760 which was not ours Really . . . I think at least if they made the mistake they would let me know immediately. read more

We enjoyed Ginger's restaurant week menu. We were a party of 4. I believe the only item off the regular menu available for restaurant week was the shrimp curry penang. I ordered the the Tom Yum Goo Soup(shrimp), Shrimp Curry Penang, and Mango Sticky Rice. The main dishes came with a small bowl of rice. Dinner ended with a hot towel to wipe the hands. read more

The Restaurant is beautiful. We stopped here before going to a play at the MGM Theater (its right next to the theater). We ordered the Honey glazed chicken wings and I ordered the Thai Beef Fried Rice and my husband ordered the Singapore Noodles. The Wings were...meh. They just seemed like they fried the wings and drizzled a little honey over them. I would not order them again. The Beef Fried rice was ok, I would get it again and my husband said his Singapore noodles were just ok. The worst part was there were sooooooo many gnats!!! OMG, we left early bc we were swatting gnats so much I wasn't comfortable eating my food and I was scared one or some were going to land on my food and I wouldn't see them and eat them, yuck!! So yeah, we left. read more

First time at Noodles Bar by Ginger but I will be coming back. Qin and Connie were super friendly, the Sichuan spicy dumplings were delicious, and our bartender, Andras was awesome! The overall 3 stars makes sense now. We arrived shortly before the kitchen closed and that was made clear three times right after being seated. The seating is odd bc you're literally in the lobby of the MGM. We quickly ordered and each dish was just okay. The lamb lollipops we're a misstep. On the menu they read as marinated pops but they actually fried which was a weird combo and honestly not good. A hotel patron with a meal credit asked if we could grab him a carry out meal so he could utilize the credit but they would not take another order. They staff wanted to leave and that was clear by how they treated us and other diners. Ginger would not be a place I visited again. I can deal with half par food at times but not half par service! read more

Assistant manager Steven Cheng @Ginger had such great service. He was never hovering over tables, but always came to check in every now and then on how everything goes. Food always came out hot and super delicious. Portion size was outstanding, it wasn't too much where you couldn't finish and order more. Overall everything is excellent. read more

Went here for a birthday. Setting was nice and upscale but food was ridiculously overpriced $$$$ per dish. I mean I get that it's in MGM and supposed to be upscale but for food that you can get similar to what you find at a Panda Express then you might as well go there. We went with our extended family but trust me I won't let them make this suggestion again! read more

Very nice restaurant I took my two cousin to dinner wanted to make it special one of them don't drink Alcohol so we asked for hot tea the server thought were from A Other planet. Very rude asked what do you want to drink we said hot tea and she said ok really we ordered the lobster dinner. I asked her what does it come with it and she said rice. And I asked if is going to be enough for 3 and she say one bowl of rice any vegetables I asked she said 138 .00us dollars no veggies are extra we pay for it good food actitud and horrible service is not worth it oh we asked for hot sauce never got it I Until I got up and went and asked the manager. !! read more

I absolutely loved my first experience at Ginger and have been many times after that! There are various styles of Chinese food in addition to dishes from other countries in Asia as well. I'm Chinese American and my parents used to own a few Chinese restaurants growing up so I've gotten pretty picky with authentic Chinese food. That being said, I can tell you that all the dishes I've ordered are definitely authentic and plated beautifully. Ginger is really the only place I eat at whenever I visit MGM now because I have had great experiences every time I come here. I posted pictures of all the dishes I've ordered over my many visits here so enjoy! read more

Excellent Asian food in MGM. Very authentic, very good quality. Excellent service. Steven is extremely helpful and courteous.

My food entree was absolutely delicious I had the signature soft shell crab fried rice!

Got the potstickers they were a tad under steamed, Fried rice with chicken, pad Thai noodles both were great. Good service.

I came here for restaurant week on a Saturday for lunch. Online it says it's from August 12 to August 18 so we went there. We asked for a restaurant week menu when we sat and we realized it was a dinner menu. We saw inside the menu it had a lunch special menu but that was only offered Monday through Thursdays. We asked our server where the restaurant week lunch menu was and they said they only have it Monday through Thursday. I told her online it said the 12th to the 18th so she said let me go check and got the manager. I showed the manager my phone where it says 12 to 18 and he was like yeah but no it's only available Monday through Thursday. We did that about three times then we decided to get up and leave and the manager said no you stay we will give you the special. After he gave us the special he came by about two times to say it shouldn't say that online. When it comes to the food we got the hot and sour soup which was very thick and very good. And for my entrée I got the sweet-and-sour chicken. Also good but nothing too special. read more

"Made a reservation for 2, checked-in 10 mins early and we're seated right away. However, wait staff ignored us for 8 minutes then they entertained the two tables on my two sides, although those guests came in after us. Server walked past us several times without eye contact or acknowledgement that he would be right with us. By the time the server greeted us, I was already standing up to leave and to wonder why I wasted my time there. I have no idea why they are in service industry if all of them failed to do the basic requirement of at least acknowledging our presence. Definitely not going back there. read more

While the service was good until they forgot my friend's meal, Ginger leaves a lot to be desired especially for the price point. Several neat whiskey drinks were clearly watered down, gyoza came out cold, and while the atmosphere is "open" it feels like you're sitting in the hotel lobby with everyone else who just walked in. The food was good/fine, you won't write home about what you had although for the price maybe they should step up their game. read more

Lackluster. It really tasted like carryout food. The general tsos chicken was hard and there was nothing special about it. the rice was like Uncle Ben's rice and there was just nothing special about it my friend had the fried rice and again nothing special I don't think I'll be going back the service was bad the hostess had a slight attitude and the waitress was very dismissive. we made it through our business lunch. what more can I say read more

Terrible service!!! Table we were given was dirty and situated with obstruction. We asked for another table and scoped out a table that was being bussed. There were several tables that had not been cleaned. That table that had been bussed was given to a customer who "had a reservation." First time to MGM National Harbor - NEVER AGAIN!!! NOT EVEN ONE STAR, but I am unable to finish post without a star rating. read more

First time here last night and I was not happy. My mom has been here before and really liked it so I decided to take her for her birthday dinner. I snuck I a cake and gave it to the manager without my mom knowing. They had a card on the table saying happy birthday which was a nice touch BUT I'm not sure if our waitress was new or not? She came to the table and started saying oh nice card where's it from I've never seen it before (what???) and then she brings up the cake which was supposed to be a surprise for my mom that she had now ruined. We felt rushed the whole time and the food came out cold. As much as my mom talked about this place, she was also disappointed. read more

Beautiful restaurant at the MGM National Harbor. I was pleased to know that there was a restaurant that opened as late as we came because we were starving! Our meals were delicious, big portions! I ordered the Singapore noodles and my friend ordered the paid Thai. What brings my rating down for Ginger was the customer service. The restaurant didn't seem that busy but our waitress often neglected us for long periods of time, then when I finally paid for my meal, instead of bringing back my change she kept everything. I finally alerted her and she brought back my change with no apology. Beautiful, convinient and tasty food, which I would come back for but the service needs to be better. read more

Ginger - Singapore noodles & Pad Thai- Both tasty! - Pan Asian Near Me - National Harbor, Maryland

I would only come here if you have to spend a lot of MGM comps.....and you're extremely hungry with no other options and your life depended on it. Otherwise, Nice decor with a good view of the atrium lobby seasonal decor, that's about it. I've been here 3 x for dim sum, lunch and dinner. The food has been horrible each time. Overly sweet, gloppy, soupy mess, no taste or texture and extremely overpriced for the quality. With such a large Asian customer base at MGM, they need to seriously step up their Asian food game. We had to return 2 of the dishes bc they were inedible. The waiter and the manger both agreed the dishes were not good and said most all of their food is for people who don't know Asian food. Most all casinos have a decent Asian restaurant to cater to their large Asian customer base. Maryland Live's Asian restaurant is better, not good, but at least edible compared to Ginger. Even Hollywood Casino's Asian noodle place is much better. MGM needs to change the concept to be a more upscale casual Authentic Asian street foods such as noodle soups, dumplings, Asian bbq, dim sum, stir fries, izakaya, sushi. The defunct Vietnamese restaurant in the food court was also a big disappointment. C'mom MGM! Get it together. The DC area has one of the largest Asian populations in the country and you give us this? read more

Overpriced, unimpressive, lackluster Chinese food. Ordered: 1. Wonton soup - the wontons were good..the soup was overboard salty, the bok choy looks probably steamed the day before, it does not seem freshly cooked. 2. House fried rice - greasy. 3. Half roasted duck - lacking in flavor...can't they not put more of the mini side salad that comes with it? We have to ask for plates when they served the food...there's nothing on the table to put the food on. The waiter seems disappointed when I didn't order an alcoholic drink. Not an enjoyable experience. read more

The phrase of the evening was "yes, you can get...there's a $5 upcharge. (Smile...wait...)" And even for the things that you ask for and that phrase is not uttered, you get the bill and there is something else that has been an upcharge. When you order a vegetable fried rice dish and accept the $5 upcharge, there wasn't any discernable additional vegetables (unless you count 2 additional broccoli stalks thrown in on the side of the plate. The food was decidedly "meh"...just a slight cut above what you would expect from your neighborhood strip mall Chinese food joint. Passible service, with adequate food made this an overall "meh" experience. Were it not for the ambience of the regal MGM hotel/casino, this would have been a forgettable dining experience. My take is that the food and experience is geared to casino goers who are tapped out of their gambling and perhaps a bit boozed up...but Ginger is not a "destination" for dining by itself. read more

Ginger does serve high-quality Chinese cuisine here at the casino. Highly recommend the beef and duck dishes, which are tasteful and juicy. Especially, the duck, which is sweet and juicy and with the crispy duck skin on top. Yummy! The environment is fantastic, of course. Btw, for people who love spicy, you should ask for their hot chili in soy sauce. It's amazing with everything. Every dish is a little bit pricey compared to other places in the area. All in all, it's a good Cantonese (to be specific) restaurant with a good vibe and location, so if you decide to treat yourself a nice meal, then this is the place. Of course, with the winning money from Blackjack :) read more
