Phoned in an order and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. I told the hostess I was 20 minutes out and she said she would wait to place the order. When I arrived they had just brought the order out. Service and hospitality great! Next the food that's where most of the Chinese food places we've gone to over the past 5 years fail. I'm happy to say the Chicken & Broccoli, chicken fried rice, BBQ Pork and Hot & sour soup were excellent. We will be frequenting Ginger Garden. The BBQ pork was different than we'd had it before. Seam like it was steamed or boiled in a red sauce. Served with a perfectly spicy hot mustard. Next time we will ask for additional red sauce as well. Ginger Garden has become my go-to choice for takeout. Through several visits I have sampled a great portion of the menu, Hong Kong noodles, General Tso chicken, Orange Chicken, and Lo Mein are my favorites. Restaurant is family owned and run. They take great care in both the preparation as well as making sure your to-go order is correct. I am normally ordering 6 or more to-go entrees and it is near impossible to sort through an entire order trying to verify everything is correct. Not a problem here most time they inspect the order as they are handing it to you pointing out each of the dishes you ordered. I do wish they would mark the containers with an identifier but that is more an issue because my orders are large. I have never has a missing item or incorrect order yet. The dining area is clean and large enough for several parties. I would not mind eating in it just has not happened yet. It is an irritation when I see stock overflow getting into the dining area. Not an issue here the front of the house is perfectly maintained. I highly recommend a stop in to Ginger Garden. read more

One of my friends told me about this place and said it was great but when my husband brought it home & we took a bite, I honestly believe it would have been better to take-out at Panda Express. We ordered the Chow Fun, orange chicken and fried rice. The chow fun and fried rice were very plain. The orange chicken was also pretty bland. The orange chicken at Trader Joe's tastes more authentic in my opinion. I'm not sure if the chef changed or the chef didn't want to make an effort but we definitely wouldn't come back here again. This place is ok, but just ok. I have never had chop suey with a brown sauce, not what I had expected. The won ton soup was bland, very little flavor. The fried rice, was rice with a brown sauce. My first visit. The restaurant was clean and well kept. We were in late so the place was calm with just a few tables. This gave us well... full attention by three waitresses and they treated as really well. This is a small place tucked into a small strip center off Higley. In other words you either know where it is or like me find it via Yelp. They had an extensive menu with many choices. I had the wor wonton soup which hot,full of veggies , chicken, pork and shrimp. We went with egg drop soup, Kung pao chicken and fried rice. The quantity was pretty good and everything seemed fresh and made to order. When I tried the Egg drop soup I didn't like the slight pungent smell of egg but after couple of spoons I really enjoyed it. The Kung pao chicken was juicy, perfectly spiced and flavorful. I can't believe I've lived a mile from this place for 2 years and never tried it! Ginger Garden will now be in the weekly rotation. The staff is so friendly, and the food was ready fast. We got the dinner special for two, DELICIOUS. Best hot and sour soup I've ever had. The eggs rolls were filled with an amazing mix I've never tasted before, and I usually don't like ribs but i really enjoyed theirs!! Then come the main courses: Mongolian beef and Kung Pao chicken, sides of pork fried rice and steamed rice. AMAZING! OPEN VALENTINES DAY 2023- even though they are usually closed on Tuesday. We just wanted to put that out there for anyone who may be checking this for Valentines 2023. So, We were looking for a place to do our valentines eve dinner, specially something in the Asian cuisine realm. We saw ginger garden was still open and decided to give it a whirl. As soon as we walked in, we saw no customers inside and became a little concerned it was empty slow, but we were greeted right away by two kind ladies at the counter. One seated us and got our drink order right away. She came back to check on us and gave us recommendations- I love how she recommended the "good deals" first. We love good deals, but we love amazing food even more! What we really loved is how clean the restaurant was and how delicious it smelled. It didn't smell oily or fishy! Huge plus! We ended up doing the family deal (for 2) 16.95/ person and it was so much food for the price! We also ordered an additional entree because, ...... well why not?! I'm not kidding you, this place did not disappoint! It was incredibly delicious! Towards the end of the meal, the chef came out to eat his dinner and asked us if we were enjoying our meal. He was so kind and friendly and asked if we were celebrating valentines early. He also said we had just missed the rush- since we arrived at 7:30pm- that made sense why it was so empty. He then brought a piece of paper over to show us their daily hours and let us know that they are closed on Tuesday, but they are open tomorrow. This was my first time here and I was so excited I heard lots of good reviews! I started off with the Edamame and Crab puffs and potstickers and wonton soup ! The crab puffs were so good we ordered an additional order. The was a 15$ dinner special and for such a good price I got the BEST orange chicken in town, served with chow mein , MORE crab puffs and a vegetable roll I think.
