I've never tried a Roti before so this was exciting! I ordered a small chicken roti and a double. The small roti was big to me, I couldn't finish haha. I love curry so the chicken curry was good to me and not spicy at all. The double is chick pea and some potato I think mashed stuffed between two fried wrap I guess? Again not spicy but I loved the flavour! It didn't take that long to get my food either. I ordered and prob waited only 2 mins. Came around 130pm. So many more things I wanna try, would come back.

We had the appetizer platter, the tandoori platter, the masala dosa, beef rogan josh, and fish madras. You order rice and naan separately, so we ordered one rice and two naan for four people. I can't recommend the appetizer platter and tandoori platter enough!! You get so much for the price and get to try a bit of everything. The appetizer platter came loaded with various fried goodies. I loved the freshly made samosas. The tandoori platter was the highlight of the meal for me as each type of meat was cooked so well, full of their distinct flavors but still moist and tender. It came in a sizzling smoking hot to the table and we devoured it. The two curries were also delicious, but were overshadowed by my love of the tandoori.

I absolutely love this place. Normally, a place that has a massive menu is a bit concerning to me…read moreas it often leads to not really excelling at anything, but that is not the case here in my experience. The reason behind the large menu is related to the aim of the restaurant, which is to showcase the various regional cuisines of India. As a result, don't expect the straightforward menu of: apps, entrees, deserts, etc... rather the menu is divided by cuisine. Aside from honouring tradition, they do offer a couple 'new' takes on some items. If you comb through a few reviews, and certainly the pics, you'll notice a must-order items is the roasted eggplant with pomegranate. It really is like nothing else I've had before and unforgettable in both taste and texture. My group also went with a famous lamb dish as well. I don't remember the name offhand, but it is incredibly soft, well seasoned and nicely spiced dish. We also went with orders of naan, veggie dishes and meat skewers. It's beautifully decorated inside and also has the advantage of being located in a heritage building in what was formerly an estate home nearly 150 years old. It's truly a unique place and one people living in the area can be proud and of showcase to visitors.

Big portion, came with a cup of rice. Gravy is thick, hearty. The chickpeas are soft enough to easily mash on the tongue but still keep their shape and very very slight nutty crunchatvthe very core. Delicate. Perfect balance of savory Gravy and peas. They have spice level options. I chose medium plus. I liked it but thought the spice may be overpowering the natural taste of other players. Will try lower spice level next time. Will visit here more to try other dishes!!
