    fish pakora, paneer curry, rice
    Rachel L.

The food was mediocre and not very flavourful. The fish pakora tasted like frozen battered fish. They bought out the wrong dish originally and left my rice sitting there. By the time they bought out my curry 15 minutes later, my rice was all cold.

This restaurant is even better now than it was before the pandemic. The food is absolutely delicious! We had Tandoori prawns and Rogan Josh shrimp tonight and they we cooked to perfection. Highly recommended. I just learned that they are going to start building condos on this plaza, so the restaurant will have to close or relocate soon. Hopefully, they will move somewhere close as this is by far the best Indian restaurant in our area.

I booked marked this place a little while ago because of how high the review ratings are on Yelp in comparison to the huge Indian chain restaurants such as The host and Bombay Bhel. My family makes Indian food from scratch at home so my standards for Indian food is definitely above the average critic. I decided to check it out with a friend and I am incredibly shocked as to why this place is rated so high. When we arrived, the outside of the restaurant looked sketchy because all of the windows were covered from the inside. As soon as we walked, we were hit with really thick warm air. The ventilation in this place seemed to be non existent. There was no host table in the front so we had to awkwardly wait at the entrance and try to flag down a waiter to be seated. While looking through the menu - the description of the meals were not that clear. So we asked our waiter for more clarification but she also seemed to have trouble describing what was exactly in the dishes. After we finally put our order through, it took about 45 minutes for our small order to come out. At one point I had to get up at and look for our waiter to check the status of the order. There were only two waiters serving a full house and I think its safe to assume there weren't as many chefs working in the back. When our meals finally arrived, it was really disappointing and honestly not worth the wait. I ordered the lamb curry and it was served cold but the bowl it was in was scalloping hot. The naan didn't taste fully cooked and the dough they used didn't seem right. It's almost as if they used a cheap all purpose flour to make it. The rice was nothing special and tasted plain and bland. So in a nutshell it took them almost an hour to serve a average microwaved lamb curry, a sweet and heavy tasting butter chicken, an almost under cooked "naan" and a cold cheap plain white rice. I would not recommend this place and I will not be coming back.

I don't frequent a lot of Indian restaurants, but I'm glad my friends did and knew what to order. It also helped that this restaurant was really good! We shared everything so we could all try different dishes and curries! We started with a Bhel Poori, which was nice and light with flavours of peanuts and onions (onion breath the whole night basically). Next, we had the spinach curry, vindaloo (a tangy masala) with lamb, and an eggplant curry. I can't decide which one was my favourite since the flavours were distinct and unique to each dish, but they tasted so good. Each curry has a side of naan, roti or rice, so we got one of each. It was more than enough food for the four of us! The waitress and owner were also incredibly nice. They both came by the table multiple times to check how we were doing and how we were liking the food! So glad we found this Indian place!

Dined in and really didn't enjoy the food. The seating was also really uncomfortable. All the meat dishes were tasteless and watered down. And the drink orders were all wrong twice in a row.

After several visits to this restaurant, I must say the service seems always slow here. If the owner is present, that is not an issue as he will cover the slow waiters. However, when the owner is not there, waters here always seem disorganized and forget things. During my last visit, I had to wait for my water for 15 min and I had to ask for it. When I asked a waiter if we can order, she looked dismayed and told me she will come back with a note. And she forgot about us for a while. There were many other guests who seemed unhappy with the slow service. Since this is not the first time we had slow service at this restaurant, the owner should consider hiring more waiters and cooks, or train them to be more efficient in time management. About the food, I'm ENTIRELY disappointed with the fact that they stopped serving white chutney with Dosa. This is disappointing enough for me to consider not going back there. Honestly, their Dosa is better than ones at Guru Lukshmi, a specialized dosa restaurant in Mississauga. I come here not only for usual Indian food but more for Dosa. And I love eating Dosa with white chutney. Their white chutney was the best I've tasted. So this was definitely a disappointment for me and lost some motivation to go back.

I went there with my children and friends for Lunch. We enjoyed every meal.Clean ,great hospitality.i recommend everyone who loves north Indian cuisine to try this restaurant,it's amazing...

While looking for a new restaurant in a familiar area, I found Bombay Touch. The restaurant has been open for about a year now. The place was very clean, and the staff very knowledgeable and polite. The menu had a lot of great options on it, both veg and meat. They had foods clearly spelled out which were gluten free. The gluten free options rate about half of the menu. I had a Lamb Roganjosh, and had a dish of eggplant and a gluten free Naan. The person with me had the butter chicken and a normal Naan. The food was exceptional. The lamb was flavourful and tender and perfectly spiced. The eggplant was in a nice thick yellow curry and was served with fresh ginger grated across the top. The gluten free Naan was very interesting: it was gluten free and yeast free, but tore like a normal gluten flat bread. It was also delicious. My friend also enjoyed his butter chicken and Naan. We both agreed that this was to become one of our regulars. I highly recommend this place. Must go to if you love great Indian food.

Egg curry with Chicken pcs in our dish even though We ordered " Egg Curry without meat pieces inside it".

This is usually a very nice restaurant. But this time they made a huge mistake which they don't even seem to regret about instead their attitude was pretty chilled out even after committing to the fact that they had messed up in their order. My wife is an "eggetarian" so she only eats eggs / boiled eggs and thats the reason we ordered egg curry only. While ordering we clearly mentioned that it should only be with eggs curry and no meat should be added in its gravy as my wife doesn't eat meat. They said YES and agreed to it. After picking up the order when we started eating it, My wife was shocked to find not 1 but more than 3 to 4, easily and clearly visible, chicken pieces inside the curry. But when you are in the flow and in a hurry to eat you don't check it initially, especially from a restaurant from where you have eaten a lot of times earlier. You never expect them to make such a huge mistake. We would have taken legal action had we taken a bill from them. It was our mistake that we did not take a bill in order to avail 5% discount from the restaurant if we pay by cash. Moreover, when we called the restaurant to complain, the owner of Bombay touch (who also is the chef) took it very lightly and casually told us "its nothing to worry about and all these things keep happening. It didn't matter to him that our religious sentiments were insulted and our food preferences as customers were ruined by this careless and "I care a shit " attitude of the owner. We expected a generous "sorry" from the owner but instead he offered us a free meal and proudly told us to go and collect an extra free meal from them the next day and banged the phone on my head and the conversation was ended. My wife and our other friends were extremely upset with this unprofessional and careless attitude of this restaurant.

SERVICE: Exceptionally friendly and helpful. FOOD: I really liked the taste of Mattar Paneer, but my wife thought it was lacking in taste. The naan was bland IMO. I've tried much better naans at other Indian restaurants. It was passable, but not great. I also tried their tandoori chicken tikka. I ordered dark meat as opposed to white meat. It was still dry for some reason. Next time, I'll be getting only veg options. I'd like to try Aloo Gobi and Karahi Paneer. There are no good Indian restaurants in this part of town, so this is a reasonable option if you're craving Indian. You'd have to venture out to Brampton for some truly good Indian food. My only gripe with them is that their portions are small. I wonder if the takeout containers are just as small. I'd expect more food for the money. Also, the prices on their website are outdated. They are all $1-$3 lower than what they actually are in the menu once you get there. You can refer to the photos I took of the most recent menu as of July 2017 for more recent pricing.

This place is located in a plaza on the south side of Steeles and is very unassuming. It's literally called "The Indian Cuisine" - Googling this place is hard because you can't just use a partial name! There is a large red sign but otherwise nothing distinct. Upon entering there isn't a lot of tables and a small buffet visually. But compared to "The Host" this place has a solid selection of food of around 30 items which is plenty, only issue is that they don't refill everything all that quickly so you may need to go back for aby favorites. But there is plenty to go around, pretty freshly made and hot. Better then a tray of food sitting under a heat lamp all morning! The quality of the food was quite decent and didn't taste overly salty. Everything tasted on point and portions of course is AYCE so no problems here! AYCE is only available weekends, so Fri to Sun only from 11:30 to 3pm but very well worth the trip. As of March 2024 lunch buffet was $18.99 for one adult + tax and tip. Unheard of with inflation these days. There was only one guy waiter, refilling food, fresh naan, cashier etc. He did it all, did it fast and with a smile! Really great service! Honestly would not hesitate to go back or recommend. Is this place social media worthy with decor and presentation? I will be honest and say it's pretty plain. But for price, value, food quality? It's really hard to beat! Keep expectations in check and remember you get what you pay for, and most of that goes to the food here! Hope they keep this up!

Overall, a solid 4-star experience at Goan Indian Farm Kitchen…read more The Chicken Tikka was hands down the star of the meal--10/10! The chicken was perfectly tender and juicy, with a beautiful char from the grill. The marinade was full of spices that were perfectly balanced, and the smoky flavor was absolutely delightful. My only suggestion would be to serve a bit more mint chutney alongside, as the coolness and freshness of the chutney paired beautifully with the spice of the chicken. The Spicy Beef Kebab was decent, but I have to give it a 7/10. While the texture was great, and the kebab was tender, it could've benefited from a stronger, more distinct flavor profile. The spices were a bit too overwhelming, and the beef lacked the depth I was hoping for. A bit more seasoning and complexity would've elevated it. The Palak Paneer was solid, but not perfect--8.5/10. The spinach sauce was creamy and flavorful, with just the right amount of spices, but I found that there wasn't enough paneer in the dish. It felt like there was a great base, but the lack of enough paneer left me wanting more of that rich, cheesy bite that makes this dish so satisfying. Still, the sauce itself was excellent. The Makhan Chicken with Mushrooms was good but somewhat underwhelming--7/10. The chicken itself was cooked well, but the flavor of the sauce didn't quite have the depth or richness I expected. The mushrooms added some nice earthiness, but overall, I was hoping for a more complex, flavorful dish. It was fine, but it didn't stand out compared to the other items. As for dessert, the Bebinca was warm and moist, but it lacked the depth of flavor I was hoping for--6.5/10. The texture was perfect--soft and almost cake-like--but the sweetness and coconut flavor didn't quite pop the way it should. I feel like the Gulabjamun Rose Cheesecake might have been a better pick, as the Bebinca didn't quite hit the mark. But the true highlight of the meal was the Mango Lassi Cheesecake - 10/10. It was absolutely divine! It tasted exactly like a mango lassi, but in cheesecake form. The mango flavor was fresh and vibrant, while the creamy texture was smooth and indulgent. Every bite was a perfect balance of sweetness and tang, and we wouldn't change a thing about it. It was the ultimate dessert to end the meal. While the food was mostly excellent (especially the Chicken Tikka and Mango Lassi Cheesecake), the service was a bit of a letdown. The greeter rolled their eyes when we asked for a table away from the entrance, despite there being plenty of empty tables at lunchtime. That initial encounter made us feel a little unwelcome, though the staff did check on us afterward, and we still left a tip. The interior decor was beautiful, though--definitely added to the overall experience. Overall, despite the service hiccup, the food (particularly the Chicken Tikka and Mango Lassi Cheesecake) was fantastic, and we would definitely return for the food!
