Upon arrival you seem some funky things like italian style decor, checkered table cloths, and a kind of disjoined dining room area. We were seated quickly and served our banchan which I thought was a good selection of vegetables and other commonly mixed side dishes. Service was prompt and throughout our meal we were served by a few different wait staff that cohesively worked together. We order two different dishes (one combo) and one soup and both were very underwhelming. Our pork ribs were overly sweet and lacked that marinated flavor and our soups were not what we were expecting. The jamjatang tasted very bland and wasn't the typical Korean potato soup you expect which is more like a stew, with potatoes, and pork bones. This place seems like it would be more suited for an older crowd that is not looking for salty soups and have limited access to other Korean food options. Given the price of the soups and combos around $15-$18 we were pretty disappointed and agreed we probably would not be back.
