    Looks like a still full can to me. Gilton- show this can some love by emptying it!!!!

    In Modesto, they are one of the waste management companies the city contracts with. They frequently miss recycle pickups. Then, when you call them they argue with you when you show them a picture of the can that is still full and not emptied.They say well the video shows it being emptied.No --the video showed my neighbors can being emptied.I am tired of dealing with Gilton and their rude reps, so I took it to the city manager. The city manager is in charge of hiring them and contracts with them. If they hear from enough people complaining about Gilton, then they are forced to reevaluate contracting with them. If too many complaints, then the city may consider taking bids from other garbage companies or giving the part of the contract that is filled, or I should say unfilled, by GIlton to another one of the companies the city contracts with.If the city is going to charge you for a service, then whoever they contract out to, needs to do their job.I refuse to pay for a service I am not receiving.If this continues, then I guess I have no choice but to just pack up all my recycling into a garbage bag and dump it at city hall and then give them an invoice for services rendered.

However, in all the businesses I have reviewed, this by far is the WORST one yet. I have NEVER received such awful, unsatisfactory, incompetent, and dissatisfying service in my entire life. At 74 years old, you would think that a company as huge as PG&E would have available a method of paying a bill simplified so I wouldn't have to waste my time on this website voicing my displeasure at what I went through today. And this is just the beginning. My daughter had experienced sudden financial difficulties and, as most fathers would, jumped in to help her out and settle her PG&E bill in order that her services would not be shut off. I called the 800 number and went through one recording to another recording, and on to another recording. My phone number did not match the one on their account, so I gave her last 4 SSN numbers, and on to more questions, and finally back to another automated (I truly hate this process!!!) recording and more information, and then I was put on hold only for over 6 minutes until the call ended suddenly! Pissed... you bet I was, so this time, with my wife helping me to control my emotions, told me to ask for an agent and skip all the other requests this automated wanna-sound-like-a-caring-woman-agent was trying to get from me. I was placed again on hold, for about 7 minutes, until a real male agent came on the line. I explained to him the problem I had, of trying to pay my daughter's PG&E bill before her power was to be shut off today. He told me he would transfer me to the payment line and they would handle the transaction. I told him I wanted a real live person to handle the transaction as I did not want my daughter to have to deal with her power being turned off. He stated that as long as the transaction was before 5:00pm the power would NOT be turned off. Satisfied I allowed the transfer to this "payment agent" so I could handle the transaction. To my shocking surprise, the same damn automated agent came back on and started to ask me the same identical questions I had tried to deal with almost 30 minutes prior. I started to go through the same process and went from one automated bimbo to another automated bimbo, only to be placed on hold over and over again. Frustrated... HELL YES! I finally resolved the issue by contacting my daughter and having her provide her log-in via email. In doing so, I was able to log in as her, (shhhh, don't tell PG&E, they'll send an automated woman to my residence!!) , brought up her account and settled the whole thing. Oh, yea, almost forgot, they wanted me to pay a whopping $1.35 for being allowed to pay the bill via telephone. For what??!! Not for the great service, that's for damn sure. For as large a company as PG&E is, the fact that they would allow this form of service is totally unsatisfactory and despicable. The "Customer Service" that they portray on their TV commercials, usually when they have screwed up and a major catastrophe has occured due to their negligence, are completely false, erroneous and misleading. As bad as California is, PG&E has only contributed to the reason of wanting to find some other company to obtain the services this company is supposed to do properly. P.S. I gave this rating a "1" only because it wouldn't allow me to do a "0". But if it would allow me to give a fair rating, it would be a "-1".

    I wanted to update review, I asked vendor to charge me for next day shipment and to make sure not…read moreto require signature, because I had an electrician scheduled for Sunday on his day off , I was very clear and reminded him many times before he finally sent tracking number from a printed label , otherwise I will have to wait till the next weekend for his next day off, what he actually did was send priority mail 2 day with signature required if he would have not done that, it would have not looked like a scam as stated In My first review it showed packaged never was dropped off till a few days later , I live out in country my mail box is down the street so it's very difficult to get a signature we have a locked gate and no cell service, so I had to wait for 2 delivery attempts before I could pick up at post office , takes an hour there and back , I'm glad it was not a scam , I just wish he would have sent next day like we agreed , I lost a whole week with electrical problems and had to order the part twice from some one else , it could have been avoided if he would have just spent the extra money for next day without a signature required as agreed , and it would not have looked like a scam. He seems to have a good selection of older hard to find parts he just needs to pay better attention to details of customer shipping needs , hope this helps to clarify a fair review.

    My neighbor was converting their garage into a 1 bedroom appt..anyway they needed electrical…read moreservice connection from my drop line to supply power.. this electrical component was overseen by Bonnie Donahue of MID. My neighbor of courtesy told me about the electrical line may be turned off and the power feed disconnect..I had lots of mid questions and gave my neighbor my phone number and email, to give to Bobbie to contact me prior to electrical project date..additionally my neighbor informed Bonnie, i.e I had concerns and questions about the electrical tie in..then my neighbor told me Bonnie did not want to discuss the connection with the neighbor (me)..I asked for Bonnie ph number and email...I called an left a message of my concerns to Bobbie for her to return call to discuss and answer the project impacts to me and the line route run. We'll Bonnie never texted and or returned my call..on electrical mid project day mid shows up to my house ready to work, I was not happy and told the employees about Bonnie's failure to call me back..thus power had to be turned off and I had to secure my dog. I'm rating MID negative -1, as this (mid) Bonnie did not display any care or concern about the impact to an (mid) customer..neglected to customers concern. 1) the project customer, who advised her of neighbors questions/concerns 2) the neighbor, of electrical impact to residence. Very poor customer service..

    We really try so hard around here don't we?…read more For a town known for American graffiti... Not really sure why we shied away from the whole Cruise thing. I get it can cause issue, but to move American graffiti to where it's such an odd time of year, it really deters from tourism and showing off the best of what we can be. I think bringing downtown to life is a good idea, as well as free things and graceada Park, and other events around town. I was born and raised here, I fondly remember the 4th of July parade, free fireworks at multiple places around town, concerts at graceada park, and events all the time. I get we've been going through covid, and there's a financial crisis going on in this country.. but some of the best of what Modesto can be doesn't really cost much. It's just getting people to come out, show off their cars, and everybody just get along like we used to. I think we should take advantage of beautiful places like McHenry village, the downtown plaza, the shopping center at briggsmore and sisk, and other areas that could provide places for people to just be do and see. Maybe have two types of American graffiti? One with the classic cars and then one with cars that have been completely tricked out like lowriders, the racers, and maybe even people getting froggy with electric cars? Our city is a car town, and I don't think we should shy away from that... Modesto has always had its problems, but there's a lot good about this town. I genuinely Believe in us. Next big event, let's all go enjoy!
