The lady that was working (Vee? Vivian?) is sooo rude. I was trying to recycle some scrap metal (copper and aluminum) to get some money for my daughter's back to school clothes and she refused to deal with my wife and said "I only do business with husband, women need know their place." It was some whacky old world behavior and the worst part was she felt completely comfortable saying that in front of our 7 year old daughter, who completely heard her over the loud hip hop she was playing on her Bluetooth speaker. Easy in and out. I usually go here driving several miles to get there so I brought some printers which are electronic devices only to be told they don't take them. I told them they need to let people know that you don't. Well we don't have a website. Well get one. Most all businesses have them to inform the public of what they do or sell. read more

i went there with striped wire ask how much a pound the daughter toldme 1.00 a pound then the father tells me a 1.50 p.ound then i went there many other times and got a 190 pound so i wanted to really went for so i called modesto junk and they give 3.50 pound so do your looking around before going to one of these places read more

Zero star if possible. Place is a rip off and probably been ripping people off for a while now. I have a shop next door and was scraping my junk. Radiators and cars parts. The worker said price of metal is way down and not paying any thing for my metal but taking free drop off and pay only .10 cent for my radiators. I was like wait that don't sound right. He ask for my metal I said it okay I'll go somewhere else. Went to Modesto junk and got .40 cents per lbs for my radiators. And got paid for my scraps. Don't go there. Rip off alert! read more
