Quick in and out, simple process. They take a variety of recyclables. An added "plus" is the entertainment value from the homeless who always seem to be hanging out around the place. Lock your car doors, even in their parking lot! read more

Go Green Recycling I had a huge amount of recycling that needed to go--thanks to the kids letting it pile up . I first stopped by Turlock Scavengers, but they were already closing the gate around 2 PM, which was kind of odd. Luckily, the young man closing the gate recommended Go Green Recycling. Best recommendation ever. I drove over and was immediately helped by the employees. I had a ton of cans and bottles, and everyone there was super duper nice, helpful, and efficient. The whole process was quick, easy, and completely stress-free. Zero complaints from me. This was hands-down an easy transaction, and I'll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend Go Green Recycling if you're looking for great service and friendly staff. read more

Go Green Recycling - That's a lot to accumulate. Yikes - Recycling Center Near Me - Turlock, California

I heard about this place and their great pricing. So, I decided to try it out. Its closer to my home anyway and located in a convenient location. I went up to the desk and said it was my first time there and asked the process. Instead of telling me, the nice lady stopped what she was doing and came out to show me and help me. Her two young grandsons (probably 9) also came out, chatted with me, kept me company and helped me out. Very friendly staff and a smooth process. I believe they have the best pay rates in Turlock, too. I will not go anywhere else for my recycling from now on. read more

They came out and helped with my recyclables and gave me tips for faster service. Very good recycling!

Hours aren't accurate waste of time got my car packed on Saturday there website say they close at 3:00 pm but by 2:30 shop is closed ghost town read more

Facility has always been organized and clean for a recycling business. I never see broken glass or trash laying around. Employees have always had great customer service each time I have gone so complaints there. Location is pretty good it's located pretty central area in town. I have only taken plastic and cans so not sure what all they accept but bins are all on rollers and parking is pretty decent. I would recommend this place of business. read more

Go Green Recycling - Hours and things accepted - Recycling Center Near Me - Turlock, California

Fix the hours. Website says Sunday 10am - 2pm when you call it says Sunday 10am - 4pm on Sunday. Which is it? It's frustrating

What can I say, it's a recycling center. I've never had a great experience turning in cans but at least I didn't feel like I was the only one not on meth at this one. The employees were nice and worked quick to get us weighed and payed. read more

We love go green nice people great service keep it up we come to this place all the time great prices

Very clean and fast service! It's where I recycle and would recommend! Hours and service is always top notch!

face paced and easy going! Great customer service! good Value! Service Requested was great aswell!

They are all right, just as good as I imagine anywhere else. Just wish they would update their hours of operations with Apple Maps. When I was there, I was in and out and had awesome customer service. read more

Best place to take your bottles, cans, etc in Turlock. Definitely go to this one if you don't generally enjoy going to recycling centers. This one is clean, shady, has a place to wash your hands, easy parking, and well organized. The people that work here are upbeat, happy to help if you need or want it, and seem like genuinely kind hearted people. The employees seem to like working/being there which makes a nice environment to take your recycling in. I think the payout is the same as all the other recycling centers but if it wasn't I would still go to this one because I have always left it here happy. I also can feel good about supporting a businesses that seems to take care of their employees as it should. read more

They have new owners and they are great. I didn't have a coupon but gave me the better price anyway. I will recommend them for their recycling! read more

I think they have changed ownership. Customer service was great. Now they always say they don't have change and give you less than you actually are owed. The person weighing is extremely rude and treats you like he is doing you a favor by taking your recycling. I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Over the years I have taken my recyclables to several different places. While this chore is not something I particularly look forward to, bringing them here is easier and more convenient than most recycling centers in the area. As long as you don't arrive first thing in the morning, you are generally in and out relatively quickly. (They do seem to be busy and it takes longer the first couple of hours after opening) read more

I give these guys 5 stars because not are they only friendly but they take slot of recycling products that most places won't. - aluminum - plastic - glass - bumper - batteries - brass - non ferrous metals They offer a good price on recycling as well and the parking is not bad. There accurate with your weights and honest about giving you the best for your money. read more

Go Green Recycling - Recycling Center Near Me - Turlock, California

See all

No resort is better than last resort. I never use this place. I like Central Valley Recycling . Stealing from the homeless is deplorable and these guys do it without disregard. AND Covid strikes again and although many may not see recycling as essential, to a lot it is a significant supplemental income. Many rely on it to help gas thier mobile, feed thier family and just scrape by So during he beginning of this pandemic I found 4 out of the 5 recycling centers closed due to virus. I get it but Go green was still open. I have heard these guys are shading and will cheat you. As I expected we had an entire car load plus the trunk roof and we recycle a lot so we knew we had well over what we got paid. 2nd time we had a bit less and got more cash. How? We were told to give a YELP review. 3rd time? Wouldnt take a bag of my bottles because they were too smashed. Umm.wha? 4th time said he wouldnt take any bottles because there were smashed ones amongst the non smashed. Wtf? These guys get investigated often and are wary because they rig their scales and try to undermine your attention to detail. Hate this place. Please Central Valley come back! read more

The gentleman that runs this is a super nice guy. He's fast weighing your items and pays a fair price. He and his crew keep the place as nice as you can a recycling center. Easy peasy. read more

Beware, I was Not provided a receipt so I could verify the amounts paid for my aluminum, plastic, and glass. I knew how much weight I had for each item, and When I got home I figured out I was NOT paid for 49 pounds of glass. Make sure you pre-weigh your recyclables at home, and insist on a receipt showing weights for each item and amount paid per pound. read more

My family and I have been coming here for years.. the best service and prices in town!!!

During this unfortunate epidemic i went this place to get a lil extra cash since there the only one open rite now they pretty much stole what i had i had 5 full bins of aluminum cans and received $15 if you can avoid going to this?horrible place read more

They are always eager to close early and they're never open on time it's fucking ridiculous how do you run a business like that

My favorite place to go to recycle! They always nice and have great customer service! Highly recommend.

These guys are awesome. Quick and trustworthy. Thank you! Open on Sundays. Even better.

Best recycling place in town! The staff is always friendly and willing to help. They do a really good job at keeping it clean.

Excellent place! They have the best prices for all recycled goods. Never a long wait.

Wish I could leave zero stars. Sheisty, and they will rip you off. Tried to say certain glass is not CRV glass, and other excuses. Go elsewhere! read more

I give them no stars. They tried to rip off me mom and her grandson yesterday. She took cans in for recycling and the receipt showed $72.00 when they went up to the window the guy gave my mom $27.00 instead and my mom told him that is the wrong amount and wanted to see the receipt again he said he had got rid of it she said she wanted another one printed out and guess what she was right!!! How many other older people have they ripped off!!! Check your receipts before you hand them over and maybe take a picture of it with your phone. Cheryl read more

So they open at 10am on sundays right? Wrong guy shows up to open it at 10:45. Then I had 3 cans (they claim to weigh 13.7lbs each) for a total weight of 81lbs then you minus the 13.7lbs for each garbage can for a total of 41lbs +/- so thats 40lbs of aluminum cans I had. His calculation came up to be 17.8lbs and when I did the quick math and told him he was wrong he told me the number on the scale is wrong and that his computer was right. This is the second time ive been screwed by these unfriendly people and I will NEVER go back. Go green will steal your green! read more

Horrible place to do business. I'm here now, an hour after opening and the one guy who can weigh product and pay out hasn't shown up yet. There is no money in the cash drawer. Absolute waste of my time the the five others waiting in line. Anyone in Turlock, I recommend taking your business elsewhere. read more

These guys are always very nice and helpful! The inside in clean and they provide fast service. I always feel comfortable taking my recyclables there! read more

Very helpful staff. They took my several bags of broken glass and beer bottles and other bottles

I'm here visiting and I Loved this place pretty clean, welcoming to new customers, good customer service. Received a surprising amount for cans and bottles .. We were extremely happy .. read more

I would NOT recommend this location. They are a rip off. Even when I use their measly coupon I still don't get the amount of cash I get at other places. They are slow here, parking lot is small and gets crowded if more than 4 cars, and they don't have enough cans to accommodate people. It's gotten tense a few times due to the lack of cans and people almost fighting over them. I gave this place several tries but never again. The service is also really bad. Take my word for it, don't even bother with this place. You'll cash out far better elsewhere. read more

Today was our first time here at Go Green Modesto and they were wonderful. Steve went out of his way to help us and we appreciated it so much. They're open on Sundays and they even take plastic that isn't CRV. I definitely recommend coming here :) read more

Great, fast service, I love coming to this recycling center. It is on my way to school, so I stop by and bring my recycling. They are professional and nice, they help you out too. Will always bring my recycling here :) read more

This place is a ripoff. We usually go to universal recyclers and will never come here again. We brought our usual full truck load of cans which generally gets us between $60-$100. Their price per pound was $0.05 less than our usual place. Brought it here and it was $48. It was cold and rainy and I wasn't about to reload everything back up. We received no print out, they didn't ask for ID. They're running a scam. Go somewhere else. read more

Really good recycling center. Employees are really nice! The guy that goes by the name of Javed shows outstanding customer service!
