Yes, most of the patients are latino. So what? I am a 62 years old white dude. The closest Clinica La Familia office is in Casa Grande, 1 1/2 hour away. But the staff is super friendly. Front desk, helpers?, nurses, PA. My assigned PA is amazing and I am so grateful for the care I get. YES, waiting time can be way off. I had a 11:20 AM appointment, showed up 20 minutes early, was brought in 1 1/2 hour later and had to wait for another 20 minutes for the PA to show up. Later, for my blood work, the young lady was super new and she kept checking my forearm. I am one of these guys my veins are huge and pulsing in my forearms. But she did super well and I didn't feel anything. Less than 24 hours later, I got the results from the blood and urine tests. The office in Casa Grande is 1 1/2 hour away from my place. Yes, It is going to take some time there in waiting. But overall, It is so worth it for the care I actually get.

I would be very careful visiting this place. The only time I went was enough for me. Front desk…read morepeople are rude and misrepresent information. I was given false information regarding my insurance coverage which prompted me to pay out-of-pocket for the office visit. After waiting almost 2 hours for "insurance verification" which should have only taken 5 minutes max, I paid the $90 dollar consultation plus the treatment which they didn't resolve (that's another topic). This office later went and double billed my insurance by submitting a claim almost 2 weeks after my visit. This is medical fraud. Their demographic clientele is Hispanic people, I can only imagine how they take advantage of these people in need of medical services. If you visit this place, inform yourself on what they can and can't do.

I have never met a more apathetic group in my life from the doctor on down. Over the last several months, I have had serious concerns with blood in my urine. When I discussed possibilities for it with the doctor, he just smiled and shook his head. He ended up ordering an ultrasound, but it was not on the area we had discussed. I reached out to his staff four times requesting a different ultrasound. Not once did they respond to this request. Meanwhile, I continued to pee blood. The ultrasound results came back, totally negative, which included my kidneys. Today, I am being discharged from a three day stay in the hospital. In the ER, I was given a CT scan of my abdominal region. Sure enough, I have a large kidney stone that will need to be broken up. This explains the blood in my urine which doctor Aghenta attributed to HRT. Obviously, my kidney stone has nothing to do with that. My husband also felt dismissed. He went in to have his solar plexus looked at as it was jutting out and creating a large lump under his skin. The doctor just smiled and shook his head and said it was totally normal. He did not even touch it. Recently, I switched to a new family practice and requested my records to be sent. My records included a cover sheet with a note from Dr. Aghenta's office thanking them profusely for being so kind to take me on as a patient. They used capital letters about their gratitude. Completely over the top and snarky. I don't appreciate being set up in a negative light with my new primary health care physician. I find this extremely unprofessional.
