I have been with Cigna for decades and ever since they changed to Evernorth and started dropping vision, podiatry and becoming just a family practice facility on Baseline in Tempe, I have been so very disappointed. Why change something that was working so well? It's better to have a one-stop facility where you can get all of your healthcare needs accomplished rather than going to different facilities according to who you need to see. Last visit I went in for my physical and then was told I had to go to the pharmacy to pick up my RSV shot and then recheck in to have it administered. Now their radiology department is farmed out and so you have to sign up again for that work to be done. So much more of a hassle. read more

I come here for most of family's medical needs. I came here today for my annual physical and just recently learned that I can also take care of my well woman examination here as well. They have the ability to take care of blood work and X-rays here at this same building! My kid's pediatrician are located on the top floor and the pharmacy is on the first floor with the optometrist. I called to make an appointment looking for a new Doctor. I always look up reviews on multiple sites before I start looking. The Doctor I wanted who had good reviews on other sites I was told was not available. Cigna themselves put his name for this site on there page to find a Dr So the girl on the phone switched me to a different Doctor. I tried to find out about the other Drs. But didn't get much info. She then scheduled me with a different Dr. When filling out the form she said and I quote "Are you hispanic" I said "No". Then she said "or something like that? " I was like wow did you really just say that. Im Native American. Then she couldn't verify my Cigna info. I gave her the card info and eventually I gave up and canceled my appointment. Called a different Dr. at another location and had everything done and verified in 5 minutes. I won't ever go to this location. read more

I am a senior and Marlon has done so many Dexa Scans and x-rays for me. On 12/20/18, my doctor sent me again for x-rays because I had a virus with some respiratory symptoms and he wanted to double check. Again, Marlon helped me out. I really didn't feel well, but Marlon in the radiology department is always smiling, cheerful and happy and he makes it much easier to endure any procedure. I have been visiting this facility for a number of years, first when helping an elderly friend who could not drive any longer, and in last few years for my own healthcare needs as well as for my wives. From the first visit with my friend who made frequent visits, on through the current time, neither I nor my wife have ever been disappointed with the process. From the speedy check in to the prompt attention thereafter to any any all needs we might be scheduled for that day. The staff throughout the facility from the pharmacy to the technical staff administering tests to Primary Care Doctors and specialists have always been a credit to the medical profession. They always are personable and attentive and I realized early on this was a special place. read more

Of course Cigna is effective when it comes to health, however this location is being run by horrible people. Every single time I come in, I am appalled by the rude attitude that the clerks give to the elderly and even to me. Today I came in-person to make my appointment, because my experience calling to make one has been horrible (they are just extremely rude). When I asked the clerk to make an appointment, she just said wait a minute. I was standing there for about 5 minutes before she acknowledged me again, and when she finally started making my appointment, she was just as rude. First, it took nearly ten minutes to make an appt to see a general doctor, and second, this rude clerk could not even make eye contact with me. All the meanwhile, the clerks around the one helping me were shooting the elderly dirty looks when they tried to receive help. Even when you listen to them speak on the phone, it's disgusting how rude they are. Cigna please do something about this. UPDATE: I was waiting almost an entire hour to be called back. Finally I go to the receptionist and point out that my appointment was an hour ago. Why haven't I been called back? MY DOCTOR IS LATE. That is her reason. How unprofessional is that? This is the first time I had to reschedule a medical appointment just because a doctor didn't feel like showing up to work on time. read more

I went for the first time yesterday. Everyone was nice and helpful. My problem with them was the size. I Have mobility issues and use a walker. I can't go very far. Yesterday was not one of my better days. I went to the wrong side to start. They took me to the other side. Then I had to go back to the first side to get lab work done. For future visits I will need a wheel chair. My heart rate was above 130 and I was gasping for breath so loud other patients were concerned. read more

WELL the doctors and nurses are really nice. The front desk check in clerks NOT SO MUCH! Unfortunately for the CHECK-IN it's only star! OK I have no way to control the traffic and was a couple minutes late. But there are the two check in clerks that make a huge deal out of being a couple minutes laye and make you feel really bad about it. HAVE RESPECT FOR THE ELDERLY!Today the check in clerk in the middle snaps at me and says "I don't know if they will have time for you now!" WHAT?! I was literally like 3 or 4 minutes LATE and now she suddenly doesn't know if the doctor will see me? What the heck! HOW rude! They always make you feel really bad if you're not early to your appt. I've heard them speak to other patients like that that as well. Now most of these patients are elderly and get no respect from the check in clerks. I've spoken to another patient about this exact issue. Now really it's not like the the doctors take you in immediately or anything, there is always a wait. Why do they have to be so rude? THANK GOD these front office check in clerks don't work in an assisted living facility!! It seems as though they have no patience for the elderly. REMINDER: It is these elderly patients that are keeping in a job, don't forget that! A whole lot of patience would be a real good quality ladies. As for the Check-out lady she is real nice! Oh and one more thing, the rude girl with the blonde hair in the blue scrubs in the pictures shouldnt even be working with people. I was helping out a little old lady who had a question about the bathroom. She wanted to know if it was occupied. It was, so she quietly sat back down and this super insensitive front office worker kept yelling her name so the 1entire waiting room could hear and said really loud "there is a bathroom on the other side". Yeah wasn't that nice of her to embarrass the nice old lady. This rude worker should not be dealing in any way with patients! She should be in a room filing or doing data entry. Someplace where she doesn't see any patients. She really needs to change her attitude. read more

Horrible customer Service. I called the Chandler Cigna to make an appointment with my doctor Veravali. They had nothing available with her until 4-5 weeks from my call. I simply needed to get the biometrics form signed (for work benefits), did not want to wait that long. Lady on the phone suggested I go to the "Baseline" location. I said - great! The next appointment available was in 5 days. I was very pleased. Now the day of my appointment, I go to 1920 Baseline Rd, just like the lady on the phone told me to. Well... I get there and there is no Cigna center; apparently, there is another address 1920 Baseline rd in Tempe... Now, I drive all the way to Tempe from Mesa. Still get there by my appointment time, but by the time I walk in and wait behind a guy who is arguing about his billing, it's now 6 minutes past. Guess what - they tell me "you're late and the nurse will not see you"....... I actually giggled, I honestly thought the lady was joking (especially after I just told her what I went through and how the address given to me by the Cigna Center employee was in the wrong location). Nope, she wasn't kidding. She told me I had to reschedule, that they couldn't see me today. Here I am: drove from Chandler to Mesa, then Mesa to Tempe and back home to Chanlder.... And then, I thought, let me call The Chandler location, I know they will make this right. Nope, I called and they told me they don't have anything until late October.... So, I'm gonna enter this same review under all Cigna Centers, because they all suck pretty bad.... read more

We were able to take advantage of some time off and get the kids in for flu shots and other miscellaneous questions. My experience was with the pediatricians on the second floor and no complaints at all. For a holiday week there was no crowd as we also got there early. The receptionist was very polite and nice. The PA's were wonderful with the kids and the doctor made the kids feel comfortable knowing they were getting shots, but eased their minds. I always get the feeling when I go to the doctor that they will deal with one issue per visit and they want you to set up another appointment for another issue. We were able to get flu shots, vaccinations, asthma questions, and some other issues looked at and resolved in one visit. It's nice having everything in one building and not having to go elsewhere for X-rays or prescriptions. In the past I'll take the kids to see the doctor, get sent to a lab for blood work, sent to another place for x-rays and then have to go find the pharmacy for prescriptions. Usually I end up missing most of the day of work. Getting 2 or our kids in and out in less than an hour was a very refreshing experience for myself. I'm a fan and going to take full advantage of this location especially since Cigna is my work insurance. read more

Nothing out of the ordinary. Physicians tend to run behind schedule but the front desk does try to let you know about how much the extra wait will be. The front desk also tends to be nice and courteous at least to me. Though I have heard them be a little rude to others. read more
