I saw Daniel Cooper MD in December 2024, and I'm incredibly grateful for his care. Seeing a…read moreurologist at my age was very scary, but he made me feel comfortable, listened to, and reassured the entire time. He was honest, straightforward, and calming, and when I became emotional, he took the time to make sure I was okay instead of rushing out. He treated me with kindness and respect and never made me feel judged. I truly feel God placed him in my path during a very difficult time in my life. The drive was worth it, and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a urologist who genuinely cares.

0 stars. Their phone line almost never works. When it does work they don't answer. When they do…read moreanswer they ask you questions about your symptoms and say they will give a message to a provider and will call back. They do not call back. When I call back days later (trying to be patient and polite) they don't believe me saying I never left a message or they never got a message. Then they never have appts available. The nurse speaks so rudely and gets defensive. I have the phone record to prove my calls she said I must be calling before 8am if the line won't ring, my call log clearly shows 8:00 and 8:01 and 8:02 and so on I can try this for days with it never ringing just an automated message that doesn't connect. Even for days calling at 11am and 1pm on weekdays. I wish I recorded my call Monday when their representative asked my symptoms and said a message would be sent and I'd receive a call back, I have two long call logs that day. I also asked for my (urgent) prescription to be sent to a CVS instead of Walmart and they never did or wrote it down even though she asked me for the address and phone number and spelled it back. They take forever for prescription refills, I mean forever. I've been dealing with them for about 8mos. Honestly the worst thing and last straw for me today was the snarky rude person on the phone that acted like it's not her problem that their phone person never gave her my message and implied that the conversation never happened. Now they have promised to call me back today to schedule the next available appt. I doubt it will ever happen. And if I call back to say hey nobody called? They will say "oOh nOt My FaUlT i NeVeR gOt A mEsSaGe To" I've gone to a lot of Dr offices, this place takes the cake in the WORST. Save yourself the hassle, go somewhere else.

It has been 4 weeks since my office visit and I have not heard from Dr. Zhubi office. I don't feel confident dealing with a surgeon or his staff that do not follow up or communicate with patients. This doctor and staff have lost my confidence and I will seek medical care elsewhere.

After a lengthy and open discussion on her diagnosis, options, pros and cons, decision was made to proceed with Dr. Zhubi. His approach and demeaner are very professional, cordial, clear, in layman language, and he answered all questions. Although her condition was severe, Dr. Zhubi, had high confidence that her cancer could be removed, and a probability that she would recover without wearing a colostomy pouch for the remainder of her life. Prior surgeons felt confident on the cancer removal but stated she would wear a pouch for life. The marathon surgery, partnered with a GYN oncologist and urologist, went very well. She went from wearing her colostomy pouch (from earlier ER surgery) to an ileostomy pouch for a few months. At this point she is in FULL remission on her cancer. She had her reversal surgery a couple weeks ago, pouch GONE! Now she is in transition get her GI plumbing running normal again. Going well. Having Dr. Zhubi and his Team there for the pre-surgery, surgery, and all of the steps during post-surgery have been absolutely amazing, an absolute God send and blessing. We are recommending Dr. Zhubi and his Team to everyone we talk to. We are also telling, not recommending, that everyone get a colonoscopy exam. Better safe than sorry!

The first appointment was an ultrasound to check my kidneys and bladder. I arrived with a full bladder, as I had been instructed that I would need to provide a urine sample. However, once I was taken back for the ultrasound, I was told that my bladder needed to be empty, after I had already consumed a large amount of water prior to my appointment. The ultrasound technician she was wonderful--very kind, professional, and easy to talk to. After the ultrasound, the technician walked me next door for my cystoscopy procedure. At this reception desk, the staff appeared overwhelmed. One staff member was having a loud phone conversation about being unable to accommodate a request and something about there should be different colored patient folders for each day of the week to keep things more organized. I was then given a wristband and asked to sit down to wait. While seated, I noticed that the name and date of birth on the wristband were not mine. I immediately returned to the desk and was told that the wristband was for someone else who was scheduled for a vesicostomy. The receptionist then corrected the error and replaced it with the correct wristband. When I was called back, I was asked if I was prepared to provide a urine sample, despite being instructed earlier, prior to the ultrasound, that my bladder needed to be empty. This was confusing, as the instructions were inconsistent. During the cystoscopy, I was fortunate to have a very kind and reassuring nurse who thoroughly explained the entire process and provided comfort throughout the procedure. Dr. Desai was also wonderful. The procedure was quick, and he allowed me to watch the screen so I could understand what he was doing and what he was looking for, which I appreciated. I did provide a very small urine sample on January 7th and am hoping to be contacted soon regarding the results. I did try and write the review on the link I was emailed but it read too many characters. So I logged into the patient portal and there is not a link to contact someone there. So, I hope they see my review on Yelp.
