At first he seemed nice - my first real adult OB. Then I came in for a well woman exam (around 2019/early 2020) and he expressed concern about my weight (surprise surprise) and tried to sell me on b12 injections and his proprietary diet plan to the tune of $400 a month. Also you couldn't eat zucchini, yellow squash and chicken for a meal because you weren't allowed to have more than one kind of vegetable - wild. Mind you I was just there for a pap smear! Then he said to me, and I quote "overweight people can't get pregnant" (which is a wild thing to say, not have a hard time getting pregnant, not even shouldn't straight up can't - guess I don't need birth control lol) I also wasn't trying to get pregnant. (Spoiler alert guess what happened the very first time we didn't prevent pregnancy...?) The OB who ended up delivering my son in 2024 had heard of Dr. Glassman and he didn't appear to have a high opinion of Glassman. I was in need of a gynecologist who was familiar with endometriosis. These are not easy to find. I made the appointment via ZocDoc. It was easy to do but annoying because it wanted me to complete my pre-registration which would have been fine, except there was no way to select "none," or "not applicable" for some ailments if you didn't have those concerns. I ended up grabbing the forms from their website & taking it into the office. Parking can be tricky here, so come with plenty of time to find parking. Office staff, very, very nice. Very friendly. I felt very comfortable there. The nursing/medical assistants for Dr Glassman, vey nice & great communicators. Also, old school, manual blood pressure checks!! Yay! I hate that stupid automatic blood pressure machine. Also, I'm a firm believer that you should know how to do things manually. Dr Glassman was very nice. Efficient & straight to the point which is always my favorite. I also appreciate that he wasn't forcing the idea of hormones or that how I was adapting was wrong. Dr Glassman and his staff are amazing! I had an ovarian cyst that had grown quite large in a short period of time. Dr Glassman removed it and I had a small complication. He gave me direction at 7 am on a Sunday and I ended up in the hospital for one night. During a phone call after I was released he said, "What is most important is you are safe." I haven't heard that kind of caring from a medical professional in a very long time. Given his skills, knowledge and caring I would recommend him and his staff. read more

The procedure was very long and because of his advanced ability and uncommon level of patience, it remained laparoscopic vs. open. After a few botched surgeries in Canada, Dr. Glassman saved my fertility. He had to take my last Fallopian tube, but was able to repair everything externally and in my uterus. My insurance was even a nightmare HOURS before surgery and him and his staff were A+. We didn't get the devinci covered and he had to do it all himself without assist. I hope I never have to do get another gynecology surgery again, but if I do - I'll be flying to see him. read more

I have worked for 30 of my 48 years as an RN in Out Pt Surgery Pre/ Post OP as well as 11 years a long time ago as a 2nd job in a GYNE office. So I can appreciate more fully than the 'usual' patient my care and fol up. Dr Glassman listened to my issues which another Gyne blew off. He listened and took care of completely! In addition because of all of the Fibroids in my uterus and the problem with going to the BR often eg 5x a night . I do have nurses/ teacher's bladder but he prescribed a medication that helped more than the PTNS )percutaneous tibial stimulation that I had to do every week for 2 months and then 1/month forever. With the RX Dr Glassman prescribed, I am no longer doing that because the Rx works as well. Also to get rid of the pressure on my bladder from a uterus full of fibroids one large pressing in my bladder making me get up 5+ times a night I had a DaVinci , Laparoscopic Hysterectomy , BSO and Bladder lift I now only get up max of 3 x a night. God Bless Dr Glassman. BTW I had NO pain after this lengthy procedure. I was amazed! And as long as I have been an RN / patient it is hard to amaze me. Let's talk about vaginas. I was going through a rough time where the lower half of me was not being very nice to me and I thought that it was transforming on it's own and my life was going to turn into that independent movie "Teeth." Having Dr. Glassman at my side to investigate this matter for what would be the next grueling 6 months was amazing to have. You're always welcomed into his office for a briefing/consultation, he's extremely professional and discreet (front staff maybe not so much), and every time I had a medical freak-out, he was there to answer my call and even get me in the same day within the hour. He found out that it was a gnarly benign polyp and I had two separate operations on me - one in the hospital to successfully eradicate it. Ever since then, I've barely had any issues with my body and he's been working with me on getting the right birth control since my body seems to have a habit of rejecting them. Apparently my body wants the babies. What took my old gynecologist 9 months with a check-in/waiting time of 2-3 horrific 'kill-me-now' hours, Dr. Glassman solved in one try and I always seem to be the only person in the waiting room when I go. His staff even tolerated me when I was high on anesthesia yelling nonsense and stumbling around the office like a drunk hobo. Even with insurance, he can be a little bit pricey (in my poor college student opinion), but he doesn't pressure you into doing anything you're not comfortable with, is upfront with the costs when you ask for it, and plenty of samples for you to try before you buy. Fun fact: He met my boyfriend after my operation and I guess the bf left such an impression that my doctor felt the need to immediately give me an unnecessary amount of birth control samples. Always looking out, this one. Plus, did I mention he's the only one who gets my extremely unnecessary/sick humor? Score. read more

Before going to Dr. Glassman, I used to dread going to an OBGYN doctor because I knew I'd be awkward and uncomfortable, however his humor makes light of the situation given it being what it is. Dr. Glassman always remembers his patients, which for most doctors now-a-days is rare, given that they see so many people on a daily basis. He has also put in 2 IUDs for me and both insertions were painless, even though I screamed like a crazy person.. He really knows his stuff. Okay, let's talk about 'uncomfortable' stuff for a sec. Ladies, your uterus is a part of your body. Just like your stomach. Or your elbow. Or your eyes. Talking about elbows does not make people feel awkward, but talking about uteruses (uteri?) does. Whatever. You need to take care of all of your body, no matter what part or name. Dr. G is a fabulous GYN who makes sure your reproductive system is happy and healthy. I had never seen a male GYN before and was extremely nervous the first time - which was a waste of my energy because I had nothing to be worried about. He's easy to talk to, pretty funny at times (I don't think he means to be actually), and there's always always a female staff member in the room with you during exams. He's had a lot of experience in the uteri world and he works quickly so you're annual well woman exam isn't draw out and nothing to dread. The office staff alone is worth a five star rating. I love the front desk girls. They help me out with billing. They dealt with me creating and canceling and IUD insertion appointment about 3 times because I kept chickening out (and were super nice to me when I did indeed get the IUD and proceeded to faint). Wow. Awful customer service. I called for an appointment as a new patient. Lady on the phone was rude & snippy. I told her I was not able to leave work before 4pm, & asked if I could schedule after then. She straight out said we will not see you after 4pm & would not even attempt to find a way to make an appointment work. Called another medical office directly after. Service was way better, & they were able to work with me to schedule an appointment. I get if they don't have flexible scheduling, but there's just no reason that be so rude about it. read more

I started going to Dr. Glassman's practice about 6 months ago and I have to say, wow... for a doctor's office, the service is very personalized and efficient. Dr. Glassman even answers emails. I certainly haven't had that before, so really appreciate his attention to detail. Medical records are all computerized, Rx's go straight to the pharmacy and so he can really look at your medical history comprehensively. HIs front office staff are friendly and keep you informed of your appointment information and instructions. I've been a very pleased patient! Highly recommend! read more

Dr. Glassman is a great doctor. I've been going to him for several years, took a break to have a baby and went back to him afterwards. I'm now on baby #2 and after his initial exam he transferred me to my OB again. But after this I will be going back it my yearly exams! He always remembers me (and not just what is on my chart), remembers my husband an is so nice to everyone. I think that's what makes a good doctor. He takes the time to listen to any concerns or issues that I'm having and always explains what is going on. He will call you back after hours or in the weekend if he needs to. His staff is friendly, if a little disorganized. It always takes it ever to get checked out when you leave. Not sure if that's just the system they use or what. But that's really the longest part if the visit. I would totally recommend Dr. G to anyone! read more

I had my first visit with Dr. Glassman yesterday and the word that comes to mind when thinking about my appointment is "OUTSTANDING"!! He is a wonderful doctor and so very caring. I have never in my entire life had such a great doctors appointment...especially this being a gynecological appointment, which is never any fun. He made me feel at ease and thoroughly explained my options and treatment plan. He did a drawing of the procedure and made sure I understood the pros and cons of surgery. He answered all my questions along with all of my mothers questions. He spent as much time as I needed to go over everything in detail. Dr. Glassman has an outstanding staff, Blanca at the front office was awesome and so funny (My mom and I were the "trouble-makers" HaHa). I did not catch the other receptionists name at the front desk...she was so sweet as well. Mandy was very helpful in getting the ball rolling with insurance and setting up my next appointments. Dr. Glassman is an absolutely amazing Doctor with so much compassion for his patients! I had been to several different Gynecologist and all of them were unable or unwilling to find any answers or solutions to my gynecological issues. I had constant, extremely heavy bleeding for over three years. It was so heavy I couldn't leave my house most days. It was hard to get in to see him, he's pretty busy and unless it's something more pressing, it may take a while to get in for an annual if you haven't planned ahead. But with that being said, he is soooo worth the wait. He has a great bedside manner (which is soooo important when it's someone who is talking to you from the end of the table while staring at your *ahem* ya know). After relocating to phx I was worried about finding a new obgyn- not the most exciting or easy task. I saw Dr. Glassman for the first time a few months ago and was incredibly happy with him as well as the entire office staff. He is knowledgeable and easy to talk to, has great patient care, and takes time to hear his patients and offer the best solutions to what they're looking for. The techs are wonderful and kind and the front of the office is stellar too. Additionally, appointments run on time and the office offers the first appointment at 7AM, so if you work a traditional weekday schedule you can most likely make it in before work. So initially I would have given him 5 stars. Back in Feb. he did my partial hysterectomy to correct issues I had from a previous sterilization procedure. He did fantastic at making me feel comfortable, drew out pictures to illustrate what was going on. And willing to take the time to discuss things. I healed without a problem, almost no scarring. His staff was fantastic, he called himself to check on me several times. I couldn't have asked for better service or smoother healing process. Even the billing process was almost without a hitch. Truly an exceptional experience. HOWEVER, I had repeatedly told him that I did not want my cervix removed do to wanting to still enjoy sex. After surgery I was under the impression I still had my cervix due to the multiple times telling him this. Even recommended him to a friend as she was being required to undergo a partial hysterectomy as well. Everything seemed perfect and my job transferred me to Cali. Recently started a new relationship, and what do you know sex wasn't as great as it normally is. My friend met with Dr. Glassman based on me recommendation and because like me she too wants to keep her cervix, and when he spoke with her he told her that I did NOT have a cervix and that if the surgery was done laparoscopic they had to remove the cervix. Went to a highly rated OBGYN here in Cali, as I needed a well woman's exam. Explained all my complications I've had. When he did my check-up what do you know, I don't have a cervix. That doctor told my friend was BS it takes more effort to do the surgery laparoscopic and allow the woman to keep the cervix but he (the new doc) normally does it laparoscopic and doesn't remove the cervix. So bottom line, he did fantastic on the surgery. But I don't appreciate him removing a body part I told him not to and that I was insistent I wanted to keep, especially after I had explained about the patronizing I experienced from other OBGYN's. Honestly now I feel violated for having a body part removed without my permission. read more
