Incredible OBGYN doctor! He listens attentively, patiently and with compassion. Expect to spend at least one hour with him your initial visit going over your health concerns. He explains in detail both pros and cons of any surgery you choose to go with-for me some options were burn the Endo, partial hysterectomy or full hysterectomy. Being 37 years old with no children, I just couldn't decide. I was one of his last surgeries scheduled July 27th, 2018 and I cancelled 3 hours beforehand. (I felt bad!) After thinking about my options and what Dr Glassman educated need on based on my health condition as an individual, I went with my gut because of the severity of my health issues. I decided on a hysterectomy that very morning rather than having Endo burned off. (But time was not allowed to do so- i signed for a different surgery initially) Dr. Glassman knows his job well and clearly demonstrates knowledge and gladly shares it with you to best suit your health needs. He is professional, not pushy, very direct (which was scary for me at first) but he educated me on pros &cons, rare complications for any surgery of course and also recommended what I know now will be the best option for me. He has a great sense of humor (even while feeling like death in his office) and he truly takes pride in his work and patients well-being. I can not even stress enough on how impressed I was with Dr. Glassman. He definitely makes you feel welcomed, like family and listens to your every concern. Trust his advice! I was disappointed to learn I was one of his last procedures and he was moving to an unknown location. HOWEVER, thanks to Google! I absolutely LOVE Dr. Glassman - after 18 years of suffering with debilitating Endometriosis, I have I would say 99% relief from ALL related pain. He is an amazing doc, amazing bedside manner, I truly believe he has my best interest at heart, even in medical areas that are unrelated to his specialty. Here is the only caveat, his staff - very unprofessional, little to no consistency, rampant incompetence, errors/mistakes and plain old rudeness to patients. I recently saw Dr. Glassman for some fertility issues and my experience was superb! He was very attentive, asked a lot of questions, and gave me clear steps for how to proceed with finding a solution. He was also great at explaining my test results (and even called on a Saturday with my results) and was very patient with all my questions. Dr. Glassman is a great Doctor. He just performed a hysterectomy on me and the surgery was as easy as is possible from a patient perspective. The pre-surgery meeting allowed me and my husband to ask all the questions we had and Dr. Glassman described the robotic procedure in detail, the pre and post care management and was empathetic and thorough in describing it all. Most importantly, he showed a sincere caring attitude for me as a patient and took the concerns that my husband and I had seriously. He was clear about each part of the procedure so we felt at ease throughout it all. I appreciated his post-op phone call at home and the follow up information he provided. Very friendly and happy front office. They make you feel welcome. There was no wait time. The Dr. talks to you in his personal office to understand your life and what's happening. He spends a lot of time with you, which I have never experienced anywhere else. He spent 45 min to an hour just talking to me, and asking questions. He is very thorough, down to earth, and easy to talk to. He has a great sense of humor to relieve any anxiety. He truly cares!! They are very good at calling you back promptly to discuss insurance coverage. The nurses also answer the phone everytime you call about medical concerns/problems. Wow! This doctor is wonderful -- he is a no-non-sense doctor -- he is personable and attentive. His actions are sincere and he truly cares about his patient. The staff is also wonderful -- they work to get you the time and date that works best for you. There is a huge emphasis on patient education specifically health and getting healthy. My experiences have been very positive, comfortable and encouraging. The facilities are also great. The parking is never a problem, the office lobby is clean and organized, there's little to no waiting around, I will say again I highly recommend Dr. Glassman 5 stars. Let me start by saying I am a medical professional. I thought this doctor was amazing, wonderful, superb. I was actually going to have surgery with him until my horrendous billing experience happened. I was told that I was covered by my insurance to go here guess what... I wasn't. A pap, ultrasound and basic blood tests ran me 1200 bucks!!!! And that won't be going to my deductible. Mandy a member of his office staff has been amazing in this process. I guess a BBB complaint, letter to the CEO of Aetna, and letter to healthcare fraud investigation is next. I don't even know what to do. I'm really getting screwed here. Oh, and I have to have a hysterectomy.... yay. He is great if your insurance really does cover him, but you won't know that until Banner bills ya. Update: I wrote a letter to the CEO of Aetna after no one could help me with my insurance dilemma. Finally, my bill is being processed as it should have been. I have been a patient of Dr. Glassman for close to 10 years. I never thought I would be comfortable with a male gynecologist but he is great. He truly cares about his patient and takes time to talk to you. I received a letter saying he was no longer with the Banner and I was devastated. The front desk wouldn't give me any information so I started to do some research on my own. I found out he is not retiring he is just moving to another practice. I recently had a lot of bleeding and blood clotting. Not my first time with this issue, but I had recently moved from Illinois to Arizona and needed a new doctor. After reviewing other helpful rating sites, and a little research, I had decided to go to Dr. David Glassman. After the exam and ultra sounds, we decided to have a total hysterectomy. YIKES. My Mom and Aunt had this years ago, and my memory of it, sure wasn't pretty. The procedure was painful, recovery took weeks, hormone therapy didn't work...the list goes on with the horror stories. I even had heard bad reports from friends of mine that had this procedure done recently by other physicians. Dr. Glassman did the laparoscopic procedure for me. I am the living testament to how wonderful the end results were. I could have gone to work the very next day, that's how good I felt. It was a breeze, I kid you not! Hormone issue was quickly resolved with a hormone patch. I very recently referred a friend/co-worker to Dr. Glassman, and she said "Dr. Glassman is the bomb! Dr. Glassman is hands down one of the BEST doctors I've ever had. His receptionists are so sweet and automatically make you feel comfortable as well as his medical assistant Joanna. They are always so patient with me and my millions of questions. After seeing a terrible GYNO before Dr. Glassman I can't even tell you how refreshing and relieved I was to be lucky enough to have him as my doctor. He saw me on a few days notice and on a day that he doesn't usually see patients on since I was coming from another state. He really listened to me tell him about how bad my symptoms were and how much they were affecting my quality of life. He immediately trusted me and took action to try and get me feeling better as soon as possible. I couldn't believe a doctor even existed that would really listen and care like he does. He went to great lengths to get me in for surgery and worked with my constant changing schedule and would rearrange surgeries for me multiple times. He was still very kind and patient with me regardless. He's funny, makes you feel comfortable, and helps give you piece of mind! I have never had to wait and always get called back to my appointment room almost immediately. For up to 3 or 4 days after my surgery the hotel I was staying in had absolutely no cell service so I would never hear my phone ring but would just see voicemails pop up and Dr. Glassman continually called and left voicemails to make sure I was doing okay regardless of me not being able to answer my calls. He also called me on my plane ride home with results from biopsies and had already collaborated with another doctor on my results. He's also been out of town but got back to his staff within 15 minutes with a question I had. He also returned my call on a weekend just to answer a question I had! I've never had another doctor be as attentive and truly care as much as he does. Dr. Glassman and his staff are seriously awesome and anyone would be lucky to have him as their doctor! My mom and I joke that we wish he was a doctor in every other field to so I wouldn't have to see any other doctor. He doesn't mess around and get stuff taken care of!! read more
