We swung by after dinner and ordered a few choices to split as well as a coffee for me and sodas for them. The restaurant was empty except for the lady handling the front so we got seated and ordered immediately. Everything was awesome. My relatively picky kiddos and I ended up cleaning the plates (it was tough, the portions were pretty sweet and satisfying especially for dessert so we almost couldn't finish them, but I'm no quitter!) Everything was delicious. The ice cream is really unlike anything you have had before. The desserts were so good, and the coffee was so smooth and delicious. I loved that it was served with the Turkish Delight on the side for you to chew and sip your coffee through so your coffee gets that extra layer of sweet and rose and it's just really cool. Unfortunately my kiddos discovered Turkish Delight at that moment too, so I ended up losing half of my piece to them and then had to buy more to give them at home, and now I have to worry about being betrayed to an evil witch that lives behind my wardrobe. The dessert was delicious though, highly recommend this place and I can't wait to go back and try the food too.

There are evenings one plans with great care, and there are evenings that simply happen to us…read more My visit to 4th Street Bar & Grill belonged to the latter category. I arrived without ceremony, took a seat at the bar, and expected little more than a drink and a quiet escape from the predictable machinery of an ordinary evening. Yet sometimes, in the most unassuming places, simplicity proves far more satisfying than spectacle. The service was remarkably quick, but never felt hurried. There is a subtle difference between efficiency and impatience, and the staff understood it well. I was acknowledged promptly, served without unnecessary delay, and left to enjoy the evening at my own pace. This may sound like a modest accomplishment, but anyone who has spent enough time waiting invisibly at a crowded bar knows that attentive service is becoming something of a lost art. The atmosphere possessed an easy, lively rhythm. There was plenty of entertainment, enough to hold one's attention without demanding it, and the room carried the pleasant energy of people who had temporarily set aside the obligations waiting for them elsewhere. Nothing felt overly manufactured. The experience was not desperate to impress, and perhaps that was precisely why it succeeded. 4th Street Bar & Grill did not attempt to transform an ordinary evening into some grand theatrical production. It simply provided quick service, genuine entertainment, and a comfortable place to sit and enjoy the passing hours. In doing so, it reminded me that a memorable night does not always arrive beneath chandeliers or behind velvet ropes. Sometimes, it begins with an open seat at the bar.

We started with the cod fritters and chorizo. The chorizo comes with a live flame presentation then is served with a perfectly soft potato. The chorizo flavor was good, but there were pieces of fat that were hard and a little offputting, in the future I would skip this. The cod fritters I havent had that good in years. The fish is prepared properly and the sauce paired with it completes it. A little after, decided to add the special picanha and shrimp on a hot stone, and they asked if I'd like to do it myself, of course! The picanha was so tender, no matter what level cook you are, you can't screw it up. Even if you were the WORST cook, the stones will drop in temp before you can make it too well done accidentally. It was like butter. And that was before I poured butter on it. I apologize that I forgot the name of the chicken dish, but it was amazing, show them a picture or ask for the chicken in capers sauce. At first, I was dipping my veggies in this sauce, a very silky salty creamy sauce. That was until the steak came out. The Steak Madeira sauce was so good we were bouncing back and fourth it was impossible to choose. There was so much food in front of us at one point it was being unbelievably lost in flavor. Despite being filled to the brim, and trying to wash it down with delicious house sangria - we still opted for dessert. This cheeaecake icecream thing, I had no idea what to expect from the description, but it was so layered. Delicious crust, velvety texture of the icecream, blueberries and even more crust in the center that was a huge surprise. I also want to say, the staff is so hands on. Kind helpful staff rounds out any experience and makes it wonderful. This is a MUST in the Orange City/Daytona area. I will be back!
