Last year, I came because my laptop had suddenly gone dead. I believe Eric was the one given the task of repairing it. He came to the conclusion that the hard drive had died. Instead of contacting me to discuss options, he just went ahead and installed a new drive with no go-ahead from me. When I called after many days to find out what was happening because I had had no call in regard to its progress, he informed me that the drive was dead and that he could not recover any of the data from the old drive. When he realized that I was very upset, then he half-heartedly said he was sorry. I did not believe him. Some efforts were then made to recover the lost data, but I was then told that there had been no success in getting any back. Recently, I was having troubles again with the computer going dead. I was told that the charger cable was defective and purchased a new one. This worked for a few days, then the laptop died again. I brought it to Wintel for testing; Eric called the next day to say that it was working again. When I picked it up, he yelled from the back that I should make sure to charge it. HOW STUPID DOES HE THINK I AM??? Of course I charge it; it is plugged in all the time!! But he was obviously not interested in exploring exactly why the laptop had died again or in explaining what had caused it to die again, or in educating me properly about my laptop - all he wanted to do was charge me $40.00 for recharging it!! What highway robbery!! I then took the laptop to another repair shop, and they saw immediately that the charger was not the right wattage for my laptop - it had half the strength that it was supposed to have. Since I got the right charger, the laptop has worked fine, no thanks to Eric or Wintel. Other reviews on their site are positive; of course, who knows who wrote those reviews?

I brought my aging iMac in for service and the shopkeeper was surprisingly knowledgeable and patiently checked for problems while I waited. Long story short, my iMac is faster and is working perfectly. Covid restrictions were enforced and I felt quite safe and satisfied. I get it together and running,it's a bottom rung bare bones econo class peice of sh*t. The CPU is OK,at 3600x it's a decent little engine,however that ois where it stops because the Asus,motherboard is slow and a bottleneck,and to top it of they put in ddr3 ram and a Radeon Sapphire 570x vid card.THe card fan is already making noise and cannot run even RDR2 without grinding to a halt and crashing. It finally blew up yesterday,I tried several times to get MDG to warranty the card but,surprise surprise because crypto is basically hoarding all the vid these days cards are 1 grand and up for good ones and MDG laid it on me to buy a new card,not their fault they say,call the manufacturer,even though THEY selected the card for the package. Sorry MDG my last payment was 2 months ago,not one more nickle until you send me a card replacement or the whole shebanf comes back to you.
