We've had bad experiences with them in the past, but being the ONLY place that would assist us we didn't have any options. I'll keep it short as to what happened: -It took longer than they said, they never called to update us -the person doing the repairs took the swollen almost exploding battery out, then put it directly back into the device -there's visible damage around the screen where they pried it off to get to the battery -The tablet works without the battery, we were told it would not. -Upon realizing I shouldn't have trusted anything about them, I plugged it in and it turned on but -The screen is broken right down the middle, i don't think they bothered to soften the glue, but crowbarred it out of the device. do NOT take anything you value to this place. EVEN if its cheap or convenient or anything. They will destroy it every time. (this is 3 times for us) With this many 1 star experiences I'm shocked they're still here.

Called Techville In Oakville on Jan. 12 2024 to make sure computer would be ready, told part hand not been delivered and they hand no way to track the part, totally incompetent. Called back today Jan. 17 2024 and told the same thing still waiting on a part. What can't a company the size of Techville track a part and why did Techville not call me to discuss the delay? Why is the customer having to constantly follow- up. Poor customer service.

I needed a very specific item recently (RS232 to USB adapter) and it's not something you can find just anywhere that sells say telephone charge cables and they had it. I went online to see stock levels which are broken down by stores in the entire region per item and thankfully they had it. It was sort of an urgent need and being close and usually having what I need in stock is a good thing. I can see if you're looking to build a power gaming system from scratch that you could walk into this place and walk out with absolutely everything you needed to do just that from every component and the variety of selection to customize something personalized just for you. The customer service here has always been helpful and friendly.

One gentleman helped us lookup whether they had items in stock and walked us over to the section. This Best Buy has a gaming center in the middle where you can try out different machines on performance demanding games.
