I always fear going into computer and car shops because I know absolutely nothing about the things…read moreI use every day and am so reliant on. So knowing nothing, except for Google/YouTube help, one could up sell me anything, especially car repairs as I've experienced in the past. Luckily this repair was a good experience . The owner Glen, is a super chill guy, he practically lives here with his shop hours being so broad. This is his retirement hobby, from being a computer engineer, so he really seems to know a lot and is not pushy or trying to sell me more than I needed. I had dropped my all in one HP computer while it was running, onto my leg and it broke it inside. He said it would take 1-2 days to figured out if the problem was 1 of 2 things. Software reinstall was $89 plus tax(which ended up being my issue) or a hardware fix being south of $200. The shop sits right off of Yonge st just a walk north of Major Mackenzie, it's mainly street parking unless you park behind the plaza or the church. I drive by here often and have never noticed this place, but it's been here for years.

After a number of emails, they contradicted themselves and obviously didn't read what I wrote. Called but their landline has been disconnected. A bad sign. I got their cell #. All the guy would say is "our policy is", no matter what I said. In other words I have your money, tough. He was rude and aggressive. I have dealt with lots of tech companies over last 30 years+ of using digital equipment. Worst and most unhelpful place ever. Terrible experience. Do not buy from them. If you have a problem you will be stuck with it. I will now contact Zagg and see if they will be of any help.

I had contacted 6 people on Yelp and he was the first to get back and had the best prices by far - a couple of the other quotes were double his price. It definitely was. Thank you Riza!

Literally the best and cheapest place to buy iPhone cords in Toronto! When I was in a pinch and…read morephone cordless, I picked up NOT ONE BUT TWO cords here, basically for the price of one! The First - A nice "on-the-go" cord. I wanted something that wouldn't be accidentally taken from a party. This one is great because it is a bright blue with white tips, and it easily rolls up. It also lights up blue when plugged in to the wall properly, and then lights up red when it has the phone charging. YAY. $20. The Second - A THREE METRE iPhone cord. Looks just like an iPhone cord. Works just like an iPhone cord. But it's three metres long, and it costs a whopping (tiny) $20. Staff is super-easygoing and they cram everything they can into this tiny space. YAY.

They did the best they could with it and performed a satisfactory enough job that I returned with another device at a later date. I recently took it upom myself to take apart the android device sellteck had repaired in order replace the screen again. I found that when they reassembled the phone they left out, lost or stole multiple screws that should have been replaced, failed to preserve or replace the protective sticker required for using NFC and left out, lost or stole multiple small metal pieces that cover and hold in place the important wire connections in the device.

I brought my laptop to PC Mechanix and they said they could have a look and it would maybe be a few days only. I got a call a few days later and they said the motherboard was fried and needed to be replaced which I fully agreed to although they recommended getting a new laptop since it was an older model and might be cheaper than the repair itself. But I love my laptop so I decided to repair it. A few days later I got a call asking where my laptop was from cause shit I 100% forgot to mention it was bought in Sweden. They realized that's why they obv couldnt find the right part and ordered the correct part FROM Europe without any additional charge. The delivery took awhile but once they had it the repair was done within 24 hrs. In short, the nicest, most affordable and accommodating service I've ever received! The fact that I forgot to tell them a crucial part of the laptops anatomy didn't bother them one bit and they were quick to find MY preferred solution although they recommended otherwise.
