I've had a couple devices repaired at sellteck before. The first was an android device that needed a screen repalcement. They did the best they could with it and performed a satisfactory enough job that I returned with another device at a later date. I recently took it upom myself to take apart the android device sellteck had repaired in order replace the screen again. I found that when they reassembled the phone they left out, lost or stole multiple screws that should have been replaced, failed to preserve or replace the protective sticker required for using NFC and left out, lost or stole multiple small metal pieces that cover and hold in place the important wire connections in the device. read more

Unfortunately I remember this incident and just wanted to let everyone know how poorly I was treated after you scammed me. MY PHONE WAS DESTROYED BY THIS STORE. I came here to fix my broken screen. It was replaced in no time. After a few days, the screen started to come apart from the phone shell. I went into replace the phone screen again, this time free at charge. And then again, instead of smooth sailing, half the screen stopped working, I couldn't use half the screen. Apple declared it as useless and could not be repaired due to a third party unauthorized shop. DO NOT COME HERE even if the price seems fair. Update: Yes, I am telling the internet about my experience. I am hoping that they can learn from my mistake because it does not seem like the business is learning and willing to fix anything or even worth supporting. Literally the best and cheapest place to buy iPhone cords in Toronto! When I was in a pinch and phone cordless, I picked up NOT ONE BUT TWO cords here, basically for the price of one! The First - A nice "on-the-go" cord. I wanted something that wouldn't be accidentally taken from a party. This one is great because it is a bright blue with white tips, and it easily rolls up. It also lights up blue when plugged in to the wall properly, and then lights up red when it has the phone charging. YAY. $20. The Second - A THREE METRE iPhone cord. Looks just like an iPhone cord. Works just like an iPhone cord. But it's three metres long, and it costs a whopping (tiny) $20. Staff is super-easygoing and they cram everything they can into this tiny space. YAY. read more

They had me in and out the door in ~10 minutes with a shiny new 3rd party iPhone 6 screen for $100. They also offer to use an official Apple screen for $120 - I would recommend going with that screen as I find my new one is a bit dimmer than the original, but it is still very useable. These guys are really helpful and friendly. I got my phone screen fixed here a while ago.The booth is really cozy (small) but it kept us warm on a cold day so what more can you ask for? While I was there, two middle aged women came in and asked mind boggling questions. Why is it called galaxy? What phone does my nephew have? Which phone is cheapest? Why is that so expensive? How long do the batteries last? Where's the cheap one again? A lot of this information was visible; their glass display listed the price of each phone and sorted them in order of price. The guy fixing my phone was patient and helpful, trying to answer everything fully. He encouraged them to ask as many questions as they could. The phone was fixed quickly and the guys were friendly and helpful. You could tell they get along and they know what they're doing. I have broken my phone about 4 times before, but they did a great job. My screen used to completely pop off and my home button would sink in, my mic would be all messed up. No more. They gave me some advice too that I will pass on: a rubbery case will absorb the shock when you drop your phone but a hard plastic case will make it worse! My case was on the table and dude was like who's case is this? It's awful. Or something like that. Also they put an iPhone 7 tempered glass protector on my phone (an iPhone 6) because they couldn't find one for the iPhone 6, but they found one like right after they put it on. They gave me the one they found and said the iPhone 7 one will be fine but if it breaks, I could use that one and even come back and they'd help me put it on for free. Basically they're good at their job, they don't make you feel like an idiot, and they understand customer service! Highly recommend! Rant over! read more

Had to repair my iPhone 6 screen and chose this place for its strong reviews + lowest price. I left my phone and and went to grab cash at the bank. Phone was fixed in the 10-15 minutes I was gone. Had a great time chatting with the guys in there while the owner, Nima, applied a tempered glass screen protector on my phone that I had bought elsewhere. I just had such a great experience in this amazing, tiny shipping container-turned phone store. I cracked my iPhone 6 screen pretty spectacularly, and I was able to drop it off, eat some delicious food at those Dundas stalls, and come back. Apparent iPhone 6 screens are a real pain to replace, because the owner cracked THREE trying to replace one. Went here to get my Nexus 5 Android screen repaired - he quoted $160, which while $10 more than most places, I still accepted for the convenience. Took him an hour to remove and replace the screen. Was very nice, very prompt, and when I purchased a screen protector he took 10 solid minutes taking care to put it on for me with no bubbles or marks. Overall loved his service, and not just because I get to say I got my phone repaired in a storage container. We wanted a new iPhone last year. He sold a used iPhone 4S. It worked like a charm for a while, then it slowly gave up. The microphone became erratic. Stupendously fast. I dropped off my phone, got lunch, and it was ready when I came back. I think this place is a little more expensive than most, but the reviews sold if for me. Polite and professional to boot. My only complaint is that they ran out of receipt paper and had to write me one by hand. I needed to replace my cracked screen, and for my phone (the LG G4) it can be replaced with one from the manufacturer or from a cheaper 3rd party. SellTeck recommended the former, which I took. ($120 for the new screen, installed, plus $20 for a 30-day warranty.) If you're comparison shopping, and you get a quote from another shop, make sure it's for the same type of replacement screen so you are comparing apples to apples. read more
