I can't even dispute this issue with this store since it's a Samsung issue, and this particular Samsung store refused to do anything related to repairs and warranties. This shop was going to charge it $130+tax for a battery swap, but I was able to find a repair shop in Markham that can do this for half the cost.

After having my Google Pixel's battery swapped out with a new one, my phone ran fine. Three weeks later, I woke up one morning to find that my phone would not power on. It was dead. I took it back to the store. I thought that perhaps the new battery may have fried my phone. The person tried basic diagnostics. My phone was dead. He felt that the battery wouldn't have caused this issue. He asked that I leave it there for more tests. Sure enough, a couple of hours later, he declared my phone dead. He couldn't revive it and determined that the motherboard probably needed to be swapped out, which is expensive. He recommended that I contact Google support for next steps. The person that was helping me out refunded me for the complete cost of my phone's new battery. It was a nice gesture. He also wrote an e-mail for me to send to Google support, which indicated that my phone was in pristine condition and that the fault appears to be with the motherboard. Even though my phone went to cell phone heaven, it's nice that this store does everything it can to fix issues and will suggest next steps when it has done everything it can to fix them. (373)

Beware of VERBAL ABUSE!!!…read more I am extremely disappointed by the treatment I received at Mobile Square and I feel other customers should be aware. I first visited the store last week during lunch time because my iPad was experiencing frequent crashing issues. During that visit, one of the technicians was already impatient when I asked questions and tried to get clarification about the problem. Despite the poor attitude, I left my iPad with them for diagnosis, hoping the technical expertise would make up for the customer service. When I picked it up, a different technician explained that the crashing issue had been temporarily resolved and that the underlying problem was a damaged power management IC. I was advised to use an original Apple charger moving forward. After returning home and following those instructions, I discovered that my iPad would not charge, even with an original Apple charger. Concerned that the issue had not actually been resolved, I returned to the store the following week. Unfortunately, that second visit was far worse. A third technician with glasses, who had not been involved in my previous visits, immediately came across as dismissive and unprofessional when I was trying to ask for clarity. While the previous technician was attempting to explain the situation to me, he repeatedly interrupted the conversation and treated me with open hostility. After I confronted with him of his rude behavior and attitudes, he then proceeded to call me a "B!TCH" and even said "F@CK YOU" directly to my face. I was stunned. I came in seeking help with a device and instead was subjected to verbal abuse from a staff member. No customer should ever be spoken to this way under any circumstances. This behavior and attitude were completely unacceptable. Technical issues can happen. Repairs may not always work. All I wanted was clarification to understand the issue better. What customers should be able to expect, however, is professionalism, respect, and basic courtesy. Based on my experience, this business failed on all three. I cannot recommend Mobile Square to anyone. If customer service matters to you, I would strongly consider taking your business elsewhere.

"But it's only the on/off switch," I bleated. They claimed it was all one component. (Spoiler alert: bullshit.) Then I contacted CPR. They quoted me less than half. I had to give them half of that ($50) so they would order the part. They kept me apprised every step of the way, and accurately managed my expectations. Then met them. When they received the part, I dropped off my phone. They helped me put it into maintenance mode; so my apps and data were protected. Yay! I got a call when the phone was ready. They took less than the hour and a half they had advised me it might take. I was able to pick it up on my way out for the evening. All in all, a marvellous experience, and a very satisfying resolution to my hardware issue. Highly recommended.

They quoted me $230 to fix, which was a bit high since other places quoted $150 - $175, but I trusted they would do a good job so I allowed them to order the new part. Three days later I was informed that the part was in. On the way there, I dropped my LG and damaged the backing. I had taken the protective case off so they could replace the display. They ended up fixing the backing as well, stating that they could not fix the display unless they fixed the backing as well. However, they gave me a bit of a discount to repair both. Overall, so far everything is looking good and although a bit more costly, I recommend because they do good work.

Watched the phone start tripping, screen started fading and kept restarting on its own, NEVER plug in a water damaged phone! Brought it in, Thomas immediately opened and disconnected the battery preventing any further damage and immediately started dismantling the whole thing to let air dry over night. I honestly thought it was a goner, or at least at a $300 bill for parts! Get a miraculous phone call at 5pm the next day, and its Sha, phone was fixed and 100% functional in under 24hr!!. Not a single part needed replacement, Thomas ran it through a sonic bath and BOOM! iPhone 6 is back ON! Their quick thinking and immediate action stopped the corrosion from spreading to any parts, my bill came to under $50!!!!!!! What a nightmare…read more Over a week and I was given back back computer without any of the drivers installed. I had to give back the laptop twice. The laptop is taken off site and every time I'm given a date to come in to pickup the laptop I'm told it didn't come in. I run a small business off this laptop and I don't think I'm being taken seriously. Im still waiting. Over a week now that should have only taken one day.
